It’s so interesting to see how different some of the engines are from their basis. You can clearly see how they had to modify some of the front chassis to fit a face in some cases.
I'll tell you what, Idk if you noticed that but there are some characters like Bash and Dash, Rocky, Jerome and Judy the Breakdown Cranes, and Sam the American engine, that DON'T appear in this video The reason why I didn't include them is very simple: their real life counterparts have either gears or other mechanical things IN FRONT of where their face is supposed to be, meaning that photoshopping a face would have been EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to do

@@SodorStudiosAndCoProductions oh ok now I get it now that Gordon is a fictional prototype this is another fictional thing that the Thomas and friends series did same with Henry back in the first season when he was in his old shape he was a hybrid between an LNER A3 Pacific and a GNR C1 Atlantic
You know, the bases of Duke, Bertram, Freddie, and Mighty Mac run on 1 foot, 11.75 inch gauge, while the engines on the Talyllyn Railway, and therefore the Skarloey Railway, run on the rare 2 foot, 3 inch gauge. I know the argument can be made that Duke, Bertram, Freddie, and Mighty Mac were re-gauged, but it's more fun to complain.
@@SodorStudiosAndCoProductions I mean, seeing how much detail he put into his engines' backstories, the least he could've done was specify that Duke was either re-gauged or built to a different gauge entirely.
The two characters I want to see in the current Thomas and Friends are Molly and Lady. I may be 18, but I did watch the original 1984-2004 (or so) Thomas The Tank Engine. I watch (I guess it’s what they call it) the CGI Thomas and Friends. I prefer the UK version despite being American.
So, you added Nia (the Kenya-Uganda Railway ED1 Class) but didn't include Rebecca (a Southern Railway "West Country" class)? Looking good, but the train you found for Gordon is incorrect, that train you picked is an A 4 Pacific. The train Gordon was based from was an A 1 Pacific, because 'that' locomotive has that bubble shaped steam dome as Gordon had in the series while the one you selected does not. No offence but just giving some advice.
Well I guess this is such a minor detail that compared to what you see on other videos of "thomas real life engines" like this where a good 90 percent of the matchings are incorrect this mistake is almost insignificant
