An absolute joy to drive, but the seats aren't comfortable to me. When you go to tune it upgrade the fuel pump and lines. The stock fuel pump won't support a LS2 and will burn out. I gotta address the stereo, but I do intend to keep it simple. You got a great car. Drive it.

The 4L60e doesn’t last, no matter who builds it, and with whatever parts. I put a built 4L80e in it last year. You did a beautiful job on that Impala, however, you need to do a rust abatement program on that underside. I was born and raised in Detroit and hadn’t seen rust like that, since I left home in ‘74. I flashed when I seen that rust. I went to the military, and when I discharged, I stayed in California. No rust there. I’m in Colombia 🇨🇴 South America now, no rust down here either. I’m bringing my S10 down here next.

My experience is 373 gear is not really faster in the quarter, hope you'll update your experience.. Thinking about LSing mine,,, looking for a good source of reliable info... Did you have the frame sewn up? Keep the information coming..
I did the exact same swap except the 4l80 I’m having trouble with my dash no speed or rpm signal with current performance harness did you have this issue?
On the 4L80E you have to make sure the main trans plug is not upside down. That’s what my problem was. I spent months trying to figure it out then boom. Check it out.
So did you swap the entire engine for a Corvette engine? Completely? Or just added some new Corvette parts to make the car faster? I don’t quite understand

Chop the back is ok. The LEDs shine bright. I have LEDs in the front as well but honestly it’s too dark. I have another set that has been painted and cleared that isn’t so dark.

If you put a Camaro V8 engine in there? Would you get better gas mileage and be able to use regular gas because I think the Corvette engine is only premium right
What year camaro are you talking about. LS1 or LS3. I run premium gas because that how my car is tuned. Like I said in the other post. It’s just so many different variations you can go with. Reliability and good gas mileage get you a 5.3/4L60e and ride.. I wanted more horsepower. Cam coming soon for my SS..
What’s the difference between the 5.3/4L 60 E, versus the standard package that comes with the 95? Also what car is the 5.3 engine from thank you. Is that a Camaro engine or a Corvette engine 5.3
@@miamimagicians there a lot of videos on TH-cam breaking down the different LS platforms.. the LS1 is a 5.7 and the LS3 is a 6.2.. all depends on what year the camaro is.
It was a stock cable for a 01 tahoe. I used a 01 tahoe ECM drive by able.. and my harness is my stock 96 SS harness that i sent to current performance to have them rework it to my engine and trans connections.

Did you purchase the engine off eBay or an auction? Or do you have a trusted website
I found it on ebay but then hit the guy up and drove 4 hours to pick it up with cash
It was a corvette shop in PA. They specialize in rebuilding wrecked corvettes.

The ac bracket is from a 01 camaro with LS1. And the alternator and power steering pump brackets are both from ICT billet!

New Impala engines a front wheel drive. 94-96 impala are the last rear wheel drive car.. plus the corvette engine makes double the power..
