After finally starting to understand process (thousands of videos later haha), I love your style. Very concise and yet still captures that "sketch" vibe I like in art
This art style reminds me of reverse 1999 and I love it
Thank you for sharing your process! I've been trying to do designs with this kind of style and aesthetic, but it's always felt like a struggle. Seeing your process really put things in perspective. I have a more lineart-based approach while this is very much a painting approach, with details added on top of each other. I feel silly that for not realizing this now that I see the process haha
Your art is really lovely and I love this design!
I'm glad you found it useful! I sometimes would block out the shapes and just sketch the lines on top of it, find whatever works better for you!

I'd love to see one maybe about the refining process itself with the layer and brush usage and such because it always seemed too vage for me to just "refine"

I have a question
Do you draw the clean lineart on separate layer or do you draw on top of the paint layer?
I m really suprised that you deleted all the brushes you dont use :D and just left the ones you use
Are you render everything on one layer? like hair clothes etc?
