Today I finished it on PC and it was really enjoyable. When I started it after playing YS VIII, I thought it wouldn't be as amazing than it but fortunately I was wrong. Nice music, great characters and story, amazing boss battles... I just loved all of it. The only things that I felt lacking was the ending... too short for my taste. Also the lack of a Post game/New Game Plus too...
In fact, what you said is great, YS VIII is not as good as Ys7. The battle between music, characters, story and boss has been fierce. You say the ending! ! My current thinking is that after reading the Bible, God says that joy is a medicine for the soul, so don’t look at the ending. Generally speaking, people are pursuing happiness, but after all, human beings are inevitably free from sadness on earth. When the heart is tired, you can check the ending, you can have some resonance, and then slowly walk out of the tired heart, of course, you still have to listen to the voice of God last. A happy heart is a good medicine, so I think I should choose a series of stories from the beginning of the game to the battle of five dragons, because that is a happy life and energy
@@futuregameytq8414 Ys Seven doesn't have as much postgame as Ys I, II, VI , and Oath in Felghana though. You can always have a NewGame+ in Oath in Felghana and also do some challenges on Boss Rush Time Attack runs after the end of each story mode of Ys I, II, and VI.

That's so strange... Altago looks like an island in the opening video... while the Ys Map shows it's a peninsula. And most of the in-game map seems to follow the peninsula geography, with the desert pretty much matching where the Sahara would start in the real world...
@DogiTheWallcrusher Yeah. The Adol we know now's a lot more seasoned than he was. I'm actually really digging his new look. IMHO Adol from Ys I and Adol now in Ys 7 is like the transition of Leon S. Kennedy in RE2 to Leon in RE4. Cooler, more experienced.
It has a PC port IIRC but it isn't english & it has really bad DRM. Hopefully XSeed decides to translate the PC version and puts it on Steam with little to no DRM like the others. Funny thing is though most Ys games were first made on PC (except seven and the Ys IV remake). Ark should be coming to Steam hopefully sometime soon.

This game is awesome, the saga Rocks too much, the OST is one of the best i have heard in long time but still I dont know why there is a Zeta of the greek alphabet in the title of the game if someone can explain me that please i would like to know
Ys Seven was the only game that had a legit explanation for it. Monsters were special to the Island so they could not be killed the conventional way. Thinking about it it's weird that the legendary swordsman starts sucking once he loses his godly items. I mean come on at this point he should be able to kill anyone with a knife. Even Rance ( the hentai series) has a legit explanation : After each games Rance stop training and start fucking all women on sigh, causing him to drop all his levels. He also pawns his legendary items to get more money and to fuck more women. In fact he starts most of the game because he needs money since he spent it all on booze and whores. Here in Ys Adol never takes a break fo adventuring ( hell he leaves before even saying goodbye to everyone in most games and in Ys 1 and 2 there literally was no time between the game lol.

the intro is rocking, but it looks like a DJmax visualizations rather than a typical anime cinema. Still Digging this, and hoping for a US release.

Actually in Ys 2, he CRASHED on the floating continent, so all his gear broke. So it kind of made sense he wasn't as strong at first
