My problem with the graphic is the molded middle knee roll. The great thing about standard CCM graphics is that you can choose to add detail to certain zones and leave other zones blocked together to create a pretty unique look, but with the very limited color offerings for the middle knee block, it’s impossible to have it match the surrounding zones if your primary colors are anything other than the standard ones - even navy blue isn’t an option. For example, I really like this colorway, but if I wanted to do it with either antique gold or navy blue (my primary colors) in place of your red, it would be impossible to make the middle knee roll match and it sticks out like a sore thumb.
There's more uses of the colorzones that hide the knee roll than compared it being stuck and standing out. I don't like the white knee role either, but I worked around it very easily
@The GoalNet How do these slide compared to the Axis pads? Sounds like you attributed the sliding on the axis to the speed skin + the axis materials like the foam and the calf wing. Is that the same on the Eflex? Better or worse. I’m coming from Eflex 2’s looking into the 5’s and hoping to improve sliding. Thanks
@@thegoalnet5915 ok . I had the ef3.9 pads. Same thing, choppy ice they sucked. So I used white candle wax . Slide 10× better. The wax wore of every 5 games. Slap another layer on.
You should do a comparison between true and ccm.

Better and I don’t know why technically, haha. I was amazed how well these slid. CCM is usually a bit behind in that category. These mostly catch up

Yes, there’s Speed Skin. SS works the best of any of CCM’s material offerings. It does lose some of its speed on choppy ice

The graphic is cool, but limited colors for the middle knee roll sucks.
I agree it can limit what you want to do, but so many other ways to use the graphic, it's pretty easy to make it a non-issue
Hate the e flex 5, damn they are ugly... would rather go with eflex 4 tbh
The way I did it or the diagonal sock graphic are both legit. More people will be happy with this graphic than disappointed by it
