If Allah (God) Knows Everything Why is it My Fault? Qadr, Destiny, Fate, Free Will!

  • Is your future already destined?
    If everything is determined, how can we have free will?
    Is man doomed to his destiny (fate)?
    If Allah sealed my fate (destiny) why am I responsible for my deeds? Don't we have free will?
    If Allah knows the future, does it mean that I have no free will? Are we like puppets?
    What is my fault if Allah (God) has already written my destiny (fate)?
    If God Knows Everything Why is it My Fault? Destiny, Fate, Free Will!
    If God Knows Everything, why should i pray?
    If God Knows the future why does he test us?

    "The fact that our knowledge is written in our destiny is already because we do them".
    This doesn't answer the main question posed which is "If God already knows the future (and therefore, my future actions) how can free will exist (and therefore, how can I be judged for my actions if it was never my own but pre-ordained by my Creator)".
    The example used of a person noting the train collision doesn't compare with God's knowledge of the future as within the example, the person did not create nor control the train (and thus cannot be held responsible) but God did create humans.
    I feel like the question was simply re-worded into answer. If anyone could help answer the original question in a logical manner, I'd highly appreciate it.
    Peace✌

      I can answer it! These 'religious ppl' don't have the mental capacity to think for themselves. Anyways: God knows your future actions, it is already written in stone and pre-destined so you might think it contradicts free will, however, free will CAN exist - in your mind and tongue only! (but not in our major actions/decisions). That is where freewill exists, as we have the ability to think of anything we want, and say anything we want.......Now you might ask yourself 'how can i be judged if my actions are pre-ordained?' maybe it isn't your actions that are going to be judged, maybe it's your reaction/attitude towards them once they are done. For example, a child can run across the street all of a sudden while you are driving down a road and you might accidentally knock the child over. It is out of your control. But what is in your control is your reaction to what happened. You can make excuses like Satan did when he refused to bow to Adam, and that solidify that you are a bad person OR you can be humble and be sorry and apologize for what you did even though it wasn't 100% in your control. That would make you a good person. Which of the two will you choose? that is where your free will comes in. Allah says whoever asks me for forgiveness i will forgive, so clearly even though we have sinful actions it really doesn't matter in the end if Allah forgives us, and for that we have to use our free-will (with our minds and tongue to seek forgiveness). Hope it makes sense 👍🏽👍🏽

    • @ameer4841
      @ameer4841 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@rebellion7463that made more sense than the video, however, a new question arises: wouldn't God already know how I (or anyone for that matter) would react to each and every event which has happened and will happen in our lives? (Since He is all-knowing). As a result, wouldn't we just playing out a series of events (and reactions to them) as already set in stone by the creator?

    • @rebellion7463
      @rebellion7463 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@ameer4841 Just because Allah is all-knowing doesn't mean he makes you do things. In your major destiny yes it is written for you, but your mind/reactions are your own. Yes God may know how you will react but that doesn't mean he made you react like that. Allah gave us a brain, and like i said we have the imagination to think of ANYTHING we want, its the only thing we really have control over, so use it to think for good.

    • @slayer6225
      @slayer6225 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@rebellion7463Again you are not addressing the main point. God already knowing how an individual will react means that his reaction is predetermined. If we say that we are creator of our own action, then we are proving that God is not having power over us. let me give you an analogy: -
    Let's say I can accurately predict the result of every football match played over the past 4,000 years. I can even predict that how goals are scored, right down to the timing and location of free kicks, the movement of the ball, and the behavior of the grass beneath the ball..... am I having power over the players or the ball? No I am not having the power....Even if I could predict things with exactness, but I have no control over the players. and I have NO control over how the ball is going to travel in the air and how much grass are going to displaced by power of kick.
    That is why I say that God has complete control over how everything acts in the cosmos....but question remains... If we have no free will then why God will punish for what I have been forced to do? ... let’s explore it..
    Do I know, how nuclear physics works, Do I know, how quantum mechanics work, or how many of us knows the Pharmacology, am I mathematician, am I geologist, am I a doctor, am I a chess player, am I a farmer, or am I a teacher of language, am I a psychologist?
    Suppose I am "Albert Einstein", I am good at only one discipline of science, I still don't know the anatomy of the human body, I am still not a football or chess player, and I am still unaware of how the human brain works.
    You have given perfect example of timelessness; how much can we comprehend? So, let us not try to walk in God's shoes.
    We don’t know, on what parameters God make his decisions, example:-
    If two amateur runners are competing in a 5 km race, and one finishes in 1 hour and the other in 1 hour and 15 minutes, we may declare winner to the person who finishes in 1 hour, but God may decide that the person who finishes in 1 hour and 15 minutes wins because that person was capable of finishing in 1 hour 10 minutes and took 5 minutes more, or about 10% more time, while God may have given the person who finishes in 1 hour the ability to finish in 45 minutes and took 15 minutes more, or extra 33%.
    So, let us not try to walk in God's shoes, we as human our duty is to follow the instruction and perform our duties according to set standards. the question of freewill or predestined is out of our syllabus.

    Also, the fact that Allah is not limited to time-space means that he knows all the possibilities. What seems like an endless ammount of choices and descisions one can make freely during a lifetime is not endless, it is an astronomical amount but not endless. And allah knows every single possibility we have every time we have a choice to make, and their repercussions. And the outcome for every one of these choices is prepared for when we make them.

    Difference between dude on a hill writing that trains will collide and God writing your fate, is that the dude on a hill did not set the trains to be running on the same tracks towards each other, whereas God, by creating everything and imparting it will did in fact set the trains in motion. The "will to sin" is something that God created, as after all, it wouldn't exist if it was something beyond his capacity. If God knows that the "free will" imparted will result in these sins, why exactly did he allow it?
    It's all nonsense when you actually think about it, and I only see a few rare comments which consider this.

      Abu Dharr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Allah Almighty says: Whoever comes with a good deed will have the reward of ten like it and even more. Whoever comes with an evil deed will be recompensed for one evil deed like it or he will be forgiven. Whoever draws close to Me by the length of a hand, I will draw close to him by the length of an arm. Whoever draws close to Me the by length of an arm, I will draw close to him by the length of a fathom. Whoever comes to Me walking, I will come to him running. Whoever meets Me with enough sins to fill the earth, not associating any partners with Me, I will meet him with as much forgiveness.”
      Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2687
      Means Allah guides who is genuinely willing to be guided and blocks anyone who does not really want to and will never want to anyway (like you can see it in this comment sections.. you can bring so many arguments and still people will never be able (or willing) to believe) .. ALLAH knows the insides of everyone before we can even know it ourselfs (again as he is all knowing and not bound to our flowing of time) BUT this does not mean that GOD goes after you to force you to believe in his arguments.. you need to to the work and earn your reward yourself to be worthy

To show to us (So that in the afterlife we could know if we are actually believers or disbelievers, or hypocrites, so we could know what we have done & what we have choosen in dunya is actually right or wrong?).
      Or to show to the angels & jinn who questioning humans creation as khalifah in this world?

    1) When he talked about free will he said that everyone chooses what they want to do. What he is talking about is illusion of free will; it doesn't mean we actually have free will.
    2) The train example doesn't work because the person who is writing in the book is writing it based on his prediction that the trains will collide. What he does is prediction, but he doesn't have future knowledge. Predictions can be wrong, but future knowledge can't be wrong.
    The guy predicts that the trains will collide because there doesn't seem to be any alternative to collision, so his mind tells him they are going to collide. Still, what he does is prediction and the prediction is very likely to be true in this case because there doesn't seem to be any alternative.
    Let's change the scenario a little bit. Let's say that the guy saw only one of the trains first and the other train still didn't appear in his field of vision. Would he still write that the first train will collide with second train even though the second train hasn't appeared in his sight yet? He wouldn't right? He will only write when he sees the 2nd train also. Also, he wouldn't know exactly what will happen after the collision.
    But when it comes to Allah, he has written everything even before he had created the universe and us. And what he has written will happen. So, we don't have free will.

      @@The_King_of_Minecraft Saying that "Allah knows that which we are going to do" is not convincing. The reason is Allah already knew what we would do even before he created the universe. Also, saying that Allah can see past, present, and future also doesn't help because if Allah can already see humans' future, then it means the future path of humans have already been determined.
      You also said that Allah knew whether we were going to pass or fail the test, but still he created us so that we don't feel cheated. I am not convinced by this also. Allah already knew who was going to pass and who is going to fail, so if he is the most merciful being, then why didn't he just create the ones who will pass? Why would he create humans who will fail and burn in hell for eternity? If you knew the future and you knew that one particular defective sperm is going to impregnate your wife and your baby will be born with mental and physical defects, would you still impregnate your wife on that particular day?

    The train example seemed very logical at first, but upon closer consideration, I have another question. Comparing a person Observing the trains with Allah is simply not fair. The former doesn't have the power to do anything and he isn't the one who's responsible for the collision of the trains.
    But on the other hand, Allah's love for us is apparently stronger than those of 70 mothers combined. He knew while creating us, that this person is going to suffer eternally yet he didn't do anything about it. He gave us free will but he also knew from the start that this specific person is doomed. So why did the all merciful creater not do anything to prevent it?
    The person looking at the trains can't do anything but Allah can.
