- Great day of Picking at the Farmers market! Found some new 2020 castings as well as some "oldies but goodies". Plenty of deals just to good to pass up! I have to think a little more on the vintage Redlines, expensive but a deal if I get them all. Happy Pickin! Enjoy!

I collect, restore, trade and sell Redlines. Uneducated sellers consult the “Sold” category on eBay, pick the highest sold prices, then believe they’re sitting on a redline goldmine. Your seller stated “$600.00”, and I see $200.00 max,
I just make auctions. Let the people decide its value

It's funny to stand by and hear those uneducated sellers try to sell to an educated buyer. I think a lot of those redlines were the undesired ones. You are right $200 max.
thats a big problem i notice, people really want to believe there sitting on a goldmine regardless of if they actually are, more so everyone can't have a "holy grail" and thing are rare because not many people have them, yet ppl struggle to conceptualize odds
I'm one of the "Northern" fans. Our temps were below zero earlier this week, but I had no clue. Just got out of the hospital yesterday. Pneumonia, heart, and other bronchial issues. But we got 8"+ snow & frigid temps. Now we get more snow tonight I guess. Well I can at least watch a pickin video. Nothin better than a 👻 vid. Take care guys.

$600?? I do not see it, and from listening to him, he was definitely trying to sell it and convince you of the 'value', but, you know as well as we all do....no way! Great finds though with everything else, here where I am at we really do not have any good flea markets and the ones we have are just filled with the low end scalpers of the hobby. Looks like I gotta do some travelling to get to the good ones. Great video!
22:00 when I saw you pick up the Road Rocket I was in shock when the guy told you $10. Those regularly go for $50+ on ebay. Its one of the set I have yet to get. Very nice find!
Pretty late to the video but I about chucked my phone when he said $10. They go for like $100+ now. Insane what a few years does.

How 'bout $450 for all 45? 10 a piece. Without looking up the "value" of them on eBay, I think that would be a pretty good deal as there are some nice pieces in that lot. Big man had some nice NASCAR pieces and I am glad you got the Silverado from him this time! The guy you got the Park N Plates from had some nice loose Matchbox! And you got Dom's Charger at a great price!!! Those Fast and the Furious Racing Champions are expensive!

Idk, me personally, I just like to collect the cars I like. I just don’t see why someone would pay so much for an old car that’s in bad condition. I say just get the ones you like and save that money for more hot wheels lol
I'm from Wisconsin and it has been cold. Getting 3 to 6 inches of snow Monday. Then back to cold weather for 3 days. I'm waiting for spring lol.
Pretty sure that blue with the faded paint system error , the manga tuner has two vairents the feolip upnor down and the hose long or short with the card art to match and the Pearl and chrome set actually has 7 cars in the set the last one is the gazzell GT CHASE car. I actually have 3 complete sets and was lucky enough to find three extra chase cars. Just thought I would throw that out there... Really enjoy the videos sir .. I am off to watch the next one

I'd offer $450-$500 for redlines and see if he takes it try to get as best deal as possible that's still fair for the both of you

I have many of those from my work. They're only 94 cents. Even had a customer give me a treasure hunt Swat truck hot wheels. Those white box hot wheels were .88 at a grocery store near me. Cool you got the whole set.

600 starting point? that means that the guy want half of that minimum, but he want to see what max that can pull out of them. probably guy will setled around 350-375-400 range. he knows for more money need to sell individualy but that is maybe 2 year process if he got lucky
You can offer him 550 $ because that is very good collection dude thick about that car is very rare also

When buying redlines you have to know what you are looking at sometimes even one beat up car can bring you back that 600 even after collecting for 50 years still I don't know some prices what looks like a common car might now be for example I saw a purple silhouette it was beautiful when I asked how much the guy said $500 I walked away that car was purple over chrome someone bought it right after me one just sold the for $6,610 on ebay.

Redlines are Always nice but prices got them really scare me ur always finding the good cars id love to find i love the chargers and i love alot of fantasy models good finds and i would love to see race day but only the fantasy models and for funny gags see if it can beat the current champion

Sad cuz in US you get them at such a cheaper rate, here in India it's 2-3 Times costlier for Mainlines. And for special editions it will cost you around 10$ per piece 😕

Worth checkin to see if the Snake redline is an original '70 or a re-release. Originals in C7 to C9 condition are pretty darn rare.

That guy 500 . I would have to inspect them but they did look 68-73 American. Which a few of those are on ebay ez sale at 80 dollars. Clear windows. You have to be careful. They re-rivet new tops and glass on old bottoms. I would have taken that iron cross red baron. Those are getting scarce

We just miss the flea market got there to late but went to another one and got some good cars.we will be back there sometime this year.
If you really want the original1968-70 Hot wheels redlines go for it. $500 is probably a closer figure for the condition and them being loose.
But if you don't care if they are from 1960's, then get the Classic Series 25th Anniversary, 30th, 50th releases of a lot of those original cars. Same castings, look, feel and fresh paint and minty fresh in boxes for the boys to rip open for a classic "Pink Slips" drag race.

it might be worth it ,as it would be nice to have a redline king of the hill as you could put the ones you currently have and race then with them.$600 is a bit steep try to negotiate a lower price

I've collected redlines for 6 years. I think the redlines are over priced. They are very common and very beat up. Probably worth 150 max.

If you have some extra money maybe the $600 collection would be worth it as an investment, in a few years it could cost a lot more. But personally I wouldn't buy it

anything over a couple of dollars is too good to pass up. you see these sellers with carded basic mains for $5 - $10 a car...they are still only $1 toy cars and thats all they will ever be. No one collects diecasts to get rich and if you do you should consider investing your money in something with better returns...

I typically wouldn't comment on this. It's your money and you can buy what ever is valuable and important to you. But since you asked for opinions I'm going to say no. You're more the type who wants to get this stuff out and play with it. These are more geared towards a collector who's going to put them on a shelf for display or resell for a profit.
