Gao Sung song. He has a very powerful voice very distintively remembered. Used to hang around at chinese libraries, newstand or at YuYi Siang Tian in KL. YuYi sells all china products.
They used to play his songs & thus create an era of Gao Sung of 70s in Malaysia.

Probably during late 60s or early 70s in China but song spread over to Asia in Malaysia early 70s.
My Dad bought one of his Ep vinyl record during mid 60s.

@@EdChoongTF A friend of mine thinks this album, which is entitled "Xin Huolang"《新货郎》(A New Street Vendor), may have been released in 1964. I don't think it would have been possible for such an album to be released in mainland China during the Cultural Revolution period.

​@@dbadagna, you're correct during the '66 China Cultural Revolution (Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution) most of the remnants of capitalist and traditional elements are purged.
