Supposed street guys like Geechi turned into gossiping females instead of being solid, and that loses credibility. We’re not paying our hard earned money to listen to gossip. I think if the culture can get back to the CRAFT and focus on RAP, it will get back to a better place.

At every major event there should always be 2 up and coming battlers being promoted and the winner gets pushed throughout the year that way by the end of the year u have 3 or 4 more new faces that can become fan favorites. These leagues keep pushing the same product with no growth to the entirety of the leagues. Fans can literally name all the battlers if someone was to call out any league and its the same dude then u have some battlers who jump league to league. We know all the Smack battlers The K.O.T.D battlers and so on and so forth but its been the same battlers for years on each platform. I been thought we wouldve seen cross platform battles. Like R.B.E versus Smack and shit like dat (pun intended😂) Another issue is how come someone whos been around as long as Smack hasnt had all the battlers make 3 songs a piece and make pick the best one from each of the top tiers and make an album? Thats another way to spread battle rap or link up with other business minded people and do a West Coast Smack league or a Down South league or MidWest league? Also do once a year events that bring the leagues together. Big ass weekend Friday through Sunday with battle events every night. With all the superstars i.e Ball players/Rappers so on and so forth that be coming to the events Im pretty sure it can be put together. Respectfully, a lot of complaints are made about how battle rap is in a bad place, but in reality, that's not helping anything. We need to stop putting battle rap down every time it's in a dry spot. No other entertainment industry does this as much as battle rap does. Instead of complaining, let's focus on figuring out ways to re-energize the culture. It's not the fans' fault-they're just expressing their opinions like any other fan base. Battle rap is a smaller community, so those voices might seem louder, but that just means we have to work harder to keep things positive.

The struggle mentality of rap affected the business side of it. Certain street rules don’t apply in business. When someone finally comes in and establishes business acumen in a way where these owners and competitors can understand how to conduct themselves, we as a culture would all be satisfied.
