      Those people talk all this gay stuff about him is because they really want to get with him like that . Out of all the gay people in the world they want to always focus on Ralph being gay . It's because they want to live that fantasy with him . If you know about psychology you also know what I say is true .

      JJ was "overly ghetto", and Norman Lear allowed it to to "flouish". The main reason for that character to achieve such fame was it fed into the non-black's misconception of him being the stereotypical poor black person, when in reality, Michael was .

      @Fruit17-ip4vl 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@The_Office_Of_Eternal_AffairsI agree with you! Jimmy Walker is very smart! His interviews are very enlightening, informative and thought 💭 provoking!
      The writers did not look deep and develop the JJ character in Good Times! His gift was that of an artist and that takes a special kind of talent! Michael and Thelma were the intellectuals, but the writers were responsible for the way in which Jimmy Walker approached his role on the show! They wrote those lines for him!
      John Amos did not like the direction that the show was going in and he spoke up along with Esther Rolle. His had a problem with JJ saying “Dynamite” on the episodes. He felt like his character was silly and not serious and stereotypical. Your analysis 🧐 is correct in my opinion! 👍🏽👏😎⭐️⭐️🔥🔥💕💕🌷🌷🌹🌹🌺🌼🌸💗💚🧡❤️🤎💜🩷💟

    Ralph Carter was a triple threat before the age of 13 years old…you had a singer, actor, and dancer who was a Broadway sensation…in fact, the producers of “Good Times” had to work out a deal with the Broadway Theatre company that he was under contract with…at the time during the first season …keep in mind , that this was before Micheal Jackson ( RIP) co-starred in “ The Wiz “ in 1979 and the last time that there was a Black Male teen prodigy who was a triple threat like Ralph Carter…that performer was Sammy Davis Jr ( RIP) back in the 1940’s and 1950’s…Ralph was so well known on the Broadway scene back in New York City that Debbie Allen who had to be in her late teens or early 20’s…came to hang out with him on the set of Good Times because they had worked together on “ A Raisin In The Sun” and she ended up catching the eye of the casting director …who gave her the audition for the role of J.J.’s infamous prom date who turned out to be a junkie that she has said in a few interviews…helped her make the transition from Broadway to TV and movie acting roles…imagine having to deal with Hollywood and the Music industry aim your teenage years at a time when the studios, agents, managers, and record labels put pressure on Black artists to be damn near ..life size marionettes or real life cartoon characters in order to cross over and have mainstream success…especially a young Black male being marketed as a teen idol…it is blessing that he lived to get married and see his children grow up!

    I had the pleasure of meeting him as well as the other cast members this Saturday past. It was at Comicon in Manhattan. He as well as the other cast members were very nice. Also Timak from “ The Last Gragon” was there too. 😊

    People always assume that when a black celebrity drops out of the limelight, they're somewhere on skid row living their worst lives as if they're incapable of being successful doing other things, living their best lives.

    This is the stupidest episode of this series ever. Without any proof the narrator keeps saying Ralph is gay and has HIV with no proof. Then they let Jimmy walker comment on him when everyboy knows his buffoon character caused all the tension on the set

    Why are you still trying to push the “gay” gossip though? This could have been a great tribute to Ralph Carter! Do better with editing too!

    His character was named after one of the writers of the show and also the original “Lionel Jefferson”.

    You use the word speculation or people have said and people are saying. If you haven't sat down with Ralph and hear it straight from his mouth then stop using speculation or word on the street to degrade someone.

    Stop watching this video at 2:10. Y'all just gossip about the same ol nothing. Some of the comments are more entertaining than this video. The Dana Barrett of TH-cam. Wasn't really a Ralph Carter fan like that but I just loved the bond he had with his father and family.

    None of the cast liked Jimmy Walker because they made him the star and gave him the funny lines.

    Leave this man alone. Yes sometimes I wonder what's going on with him, it's natural curiosity. Just let that man live his life privately and stop with the unfounded rumors.
