I ordered mine last week, can’t wait!
Which size? 51mm? I dont know which choose 😂
@@victorquinones8723 Only the 51mm has the light. Bob C
I chose the 51mm because of the light and my older eyes. @@victorquinones8723
It wouldbe nice to see the 43mm beside 51mm on someone's arm to judge the size difference, especially the thickness
This is a link just for you KelliK... no joke th-cam.com/video/RNiLGUWsiRA/w-d-xo.html

@@DiversSupplyYT thanks. Been looking everywhere!
@@pan0ptica We've got them..
Thanks Bob. As much as I love my titanium MK2I, I may have to upgrade to the MK3i for the AMOLED display
Having issues with my mk3i wait out
I heard that from more than one Mk2i owner..
So glad I didn’t buy the MK2 a few weeks ago
Yep, I was tempted when they offered the rebate!
Hi Bob, 3 questions for the future reviews: 1) How many independent depth alarms we can set during freediving with MK3 43mm? (I freedive to approx -80m and so need at least 4 independent alarms). 2) Is it possible to use stop-watch in freediving mode (to control how long my buddy is down there)? 3) Is there any summary of locations covered in "Dive view maps"? Many thanks :)
before i sell my mk2i, isnt the mk3 screen smaller than the mk2i? thanks bob!
The Mk3i is called a 51mm unit and there is the Mk3i 43mm unit, no longer is there a Mk2s. Thee 43mm does not have the light the 51mm. I have a Mk3i 51mm coming to do some real comparisons with the Mkk2i.
The watch the interviewer is wearing 😂
Do you folks know what that watch is that I'm wearing ?? Bob C

Still looking to find out why Garmin didn’t choose to go with solar on the Descent Mk3s like every other Garmin model update. Seems like a step down to me. I get the solar isn’t a huge increase to battery boost…
I'd think the power vs space requirement be a factor and maybe the screen type might keep that from happening..
@@DiversSupplyYT ty for the reply… guess I’d rather kept MIPS and got solar over AMOLED. Having a Mk2i… the flashlight and solar was the only thing I felt I was missing from the Garmin lineup.
and the touch screen! @@jasonbocek
Just bought MK2I less than 2 months and mk3 came out……
No worries the Mk2i is still a killer of a Dive Computer and multi function unit. Bob C
How does this compare with Rolex Submariner and/or Omega Seamaster 300?
I assume it is totally different concept.
Hey Someone ! Yes those pieces are Dive Watches and the Mk3i is a Multi-function unit. Yes it is a dive watch, dive computer, multi-activity tracker like biking, walking, swimming, and square-dancing.. (just kidding about that one).
It tracks sleep and so much more.
@@DiversSupplyYT Thanks! 😉👍
I can hear the Garmin Sonar transmitters. Underwater it's terrible
what does it sound like?
DLC 51mm ... i go big because I need the real estate and I already dive with magnifiers ( bi focal) so smaller is STUPIDER for me ... the reason I did not buy a MK2i for ( idiot ) was the Super garbage can Trash super Scratch surface ... I did get a standard Mk2... STAINLESS... 52MM because I liked having a watch I could wear... unlike a CASIO GSHOCK for 1600.00 black CLOWN watch... now with the MK3.... I can get stainless sin the girl sized 43mm ... OR a MK3i in GHETTO boi Bronze.... because ( I have seen the SUPER CLOWN SCRATCH and CHIP DLC plating BS on the MK2 )
OK and all that ! Regards Bob C
