    It seems difficult to see the 20MA do anything significant where you have “enter here”. When an instrument is ranging it still has small ups and downs. Look to the left where you have an arrow and then “20ma”. If you covered everything to the right, how can you differentiate what the 20MA is doing between where you have enter and where you marked it “20ma”? I have been trying to figure some signal out to avoid the small bumps up and down but I have yet been able to figure anything out to differentiate between them.

  • @doughaines5300

    Hi,
    I think it is hard to say what is 45 degrees slope of the 20ma. Because we always change our screen around, expand and zoom, and so you don't know what is 45 degrees.
    Maybe the similar idea could be saidto be that if the 20ma is m0ving away from the 200ma then it will become overextended.
    So you want the railroad tracks where 20 and 200 are roughly parallel.
    I think this is the same idea?
    Thanks

    Question ,, why Sma or Ema are at different price on different timeframe unlike Vwap.

    • @t3live
      @t3live 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi Ashar - because they have not come up with an exponential vwap (yet) lol. An SMA calculates the average over a period of time, assigning equal weighting to all prices (closing price of each bar). Exponential gives more weighting to most recent prices and is kind of a complicated formula. Can definitely read more about it online, but SMAs are more commonly used, and that's why I like to use them (I like to see what other traders are looking at before placing a trade).
