This hatred is not found in foreign countries as all Indian, Pakistanis communities live together when they go away from their respective mother lands and miss their culture, vajood and their native language to talk to someone. Waris shah has written great poetry to describe the pain loss of death of their families and which is caused by dividend rule of British and our corrupted politicians who announced to separate ind and pak. These memorize will never be forgotten especially when both me and my dad went back to gilgit where he was born in Pakistan so how can you hate each other?
Partition was a horrible tragedy. We are all actually the same people, whether we are now Indian or Pakistani. Let's focus on our similarities and not our differences.

Its so unfortunate to read some of the India v/s Pak, Hindus v/s muslim comments. I think it is extremely insulting to this poem, to Amrita, to Wadalis and to Punjabiat. The very reason she wrote this poem was to protest against the communal hatred and its result. But are not we just repeating this again by calling each others communities, religions and countries names We can (india/pak, hindus/muslims/sikhs) can and should live in peace. PEACE!!!!!
