Love your little tramily - you guys seem to be relaxed into your hiking and you seem so much happier.

I love your trail name. I too enjoy maps and knowing elevation and mileage, etc. You are seeming much more relaxed and enjoying the journey since you've been back on trail. I've really been impressed with you! P.S. I would love to know how you're liking your pack. I'm considering the Granite Gear Blaze 60 or maybe the Crown for my PCT journey next year.

I like the pack itself mostly however I wouldn’t use it for a through hike again. I lost some weight and the hip belt hasn’t fit since midway through the Sierra. The company only makes 2 hip belts for the pack (men’s and unisex) and I already have the smallest one. There is t enough versatility in the pack for it to be used on a through hike. I feel I should be able to purchase accessories such as another smaller hip belt. Also for me the pack is too large. It has a roll top but at this point I have my gear so dialed down that it doesn’t fill the pack enough which makes it awkward and things shift while wearing it. The pack itself is extremely durable and has stood up to 5.5 months of use very well. I love where all the pockets are (although I wish the hip belt pockets were big enough to easily fit my phone). I don’t use stuff sacks and I feel that I can still remain organized with how this pack is set up.

@@heatherdelfs3512 thank you for the detailed response! I'm looking at the Women's specific version that has an adjustable hip belt so perhaps that would solve that issue for me.

The Hiking Chick it just depends on your size. That is the one I have. It is the extra small. I am 5’2” and a muscular 140 lbs with a small waist. Keep in mind that you will loose inches if you are going on a longer through hike.

It is interesting seeing slightly different perspectives of the same miles. Kind of like looking at a picture from a different angle. I like the different aspects. Seems like there are more people around. It was fun to see the family again.I love any kind of berries you find on the trail. I canoe along the edge of the lake and find black berries so I will always top and pick them and eat them. For some reason none ever made it home. I like the trail name, by the say. I learned “Orientering” in the military so I can read maps as well, and like using them. Trek On.

Thank you! Just the basic iPhone 11. No camera. I edit some using the free editing abilities of iPhoto and I put my videos together using the free iMovie that is standard on iPhone.
