To me, it’s still so cool to see Byleth winning tournaments despite his lackluster tier position. Leo played out of mind, and so did Sparg0, incredible match.
Byleth sucks, she literally has less options to win neutral than at least half the cast. But Leo is just that nice, and he plays to mitigate Byleth's weaknesses really well

They’re so slow in movement that they have a hard time pressuring an opponent.

Ezequiel Machado i’ve never even been on twitch. it’s not that the cause is without virtue, but that is exactly how people can easily be scammed. not saying hbox or anyone involved in the smash side is doing that but it happens. however it’s the best way to get money that untaxed and untraced. it is pretty fucked but a reality that needs to be faced. the rockefeller foundation started that disgusting trend and that’s why they fund so much of modern medical research that never seems to make any strides for how much money it makes. the medical monopoly of america is a rigorous one. it’s like the metallica song, “sad but true”
Such amazing sets played in this tournament for such a good cause! I loved watching Sparg0, MkLeo, Midnight, and Scend all play as well as all of the other amazing players that partook in the event!
Joker unfortunately isn’t nearly as good online which is why Leo uses Byleth for his online character. Cloud on the other hand receives a big buff when playing online so it evened the playing field for players with a measurable skill gap
I just like how both Spargo and Leo’s in game names are their biases in kpop 😂 (if you didn’t know, Seulgi is from kpop group Red Velvet and Jeongyeon is from kpop group TWICE)

@@Grungus37 Even in offline, for a character that is slow and powerful, Pyra has better Frame data and range than Hero does, as well as Shield damage and combos. Hero does have his wacky specials, but people are definitely gonna use Pyra because she is a very consistent character with Gannon strength and a huge sword. Plus it's way easier to kill with her than fishing for Mythra Neutral B.

I noticed how during each match between spargo and MKleo MKleo got smarter with everything spargo threw at him even got to break his shield twice with a deadly side smash and Amir down special Good matches between the 2 of them
Wut? Spargo has incredible reaction times, takes calculated risks that pay off more often than not, and his spacing is just fine. They’re both equally skilled. MKLeo just doesn’t get flustered. He’s the better player overall.
I think the great difference is the mindset. Leo is a freaking ice cube, he never fliches. Last stock is the definition of "Sparg0 was scared af and did a stupid thing". Leo simply was more "stable". Spargo will reckt tournament when offline returns at full power, i think he could be one of the next generation goats

Friendly reminder: limit blade beam into cross slash can break shields
Sparg0 needs to recognize when that option is available to him.
You can drop shield between cross slash hits and even roll away if you got good timing. It’s only going to catch players asleep at the wheel.
