I hate it when beautiful things come to an end-maybe that's what heaven is for. Your videos took me through a difficult summer and yet another cancelled Camino. And they were beautiful? So is your spirit . Thank you, Elan. Unforgettable !
I also walked to Finisterre in three days instead of four, as planned. Mainly due to the amount of pilgrims on it. It was quite busy, which surprised me. Mind you, these were tourist pilgrims that took up all the beds in the private albergues. You would not see them walking. Only see them in the towns. When I got to Finisterre I did manage to locate a private albergue with beds for two nights. Still, all in all it was a nice walk. The weather was good with very little rain. So minor I didn't even dig out my rain jacket from inside my pack. I just put the rain cover on the pack and kept walking.
Yeah , it barked at me too! (Oct. 19th 2018). The owner came out and we had a chat. He has some great Camino items in his front garden. The arrival at Fisterra is beyond words. I was lucky to arrive in spectacular sunshine and about 30 degrees.
Efren, I'm walking the Finisterre/Muxia loop with a charity in September. I'm again grateful to you for covering the Camino. Especially for going into more depth of the Fisterre route than anyone else who walked the Camino Frances (that I've seen on YT).
Love watching your videos. Feels like being there with you. Fantastic shots and commentary. Have seen all 35 (3). Will miss them when you reached the end and stop posting. Could watch forever. Can’t wait to go. 😜 will done 👌👍
Galicia.
Thank you very much for sharing . We have enjoyed it all. Hope you do another journey and take the drone with you. What about the Appalachian Trail? Would love to see that! All best wishes.
Just completed SJDPDP to Finisterra, disappointed the churches were not open on the SDC to Finisterra bit, bit of a let down on special section of the way
As you reflect on your journey, do you feel more spiritually uplifted and closer to Christ? As I dream and somewhat plan for the journey it is what I hope with my journey.
Ah, I see where u got ur idea of a trolley for later exploits, when u gonna do a cycling version, further faster lighter, u can carry ur gear more comfortably, just an idea, diversify to conquer
Once you back in the Us....you should get your self an education....no pun intended man.....Finisterre (Finisterrae) Spanish /latin......Fisterra Gallego....the end of the earth.....the Non plus Ultra...(no mas alla...en latin)
We have seen the same issue with Red Bull in our hospital. Glad you were okay and it didn't ruin your well deserved celebration

I did in june 2019 exactly the same camino as you, but I added Muxia, which is a must...
We shall never disregard Muxia :)
Still just as wonderful as the very first day. Thank you so very much for sharing this.
Memories - I finished my Camino on 13 October. That dog barked at me :) :)

WOW!!! I cannot wait!!😃😀😃😁😃😀😃😉😃😃
Efrén, I just discovered where you took from the idea for the trolley you've used in via francigena...the famous trolley...aahahahahaha
Yeap
It’s funny, when said you were having a Red Bull I found myself judging and the you said not to judge. Great comedic timing!
Lol me too.. I actually thought he shouldn’t be doing that!
why? you drink coffee so why not redbull
Lol the banana belongs to Shango! lol
Finally someone gets it 😂
The origin of the francigiena cart 😝
Hey! I saw that guy with the cart! It was way back before Astorga, though. When was this video filmed?

Esther the Appalachian trail is on my list 😜

are you in Fisterra now? I'm here too.
@@Walk_with_Efren Desculpe, finished 30th April, back in Irlanda now, Buen camino
👍👍

Yikes! Sugar drop or Red Bull Crash?
Still don't know. First time it happened. I think it was just the cumulative exhaustion of walking for 37 days. Still worth it.
Hopefully its obvious that the above question mark was supposed to be an exclamation !!

Is that a trolley I see ;)
On flat terrain I guess. Haha
that's the first time I saw it and wherr got the idea from.
Castellano= FINISTERRE
Latin= FINIS TERRAE
Gallego= FISTERRA
Jaja..You are wellcome.
One rule: Never go back! But the first time you forgot your stick you went back for it.
some rules are meant to be broken

Fisterra.....es gallego.....en espanol se dice Finisterre (latin for the end of the earth)
Cabo Finisterre......the end of Europe...
Once you back in the Us....you should get your self an education....no pun intended man.....Finisterre (Finisterrae) Spanish /latin......Fisterra Gallego....the end of the earth.....the Non plus Ultra...(no mas alla...en latin)
