Hi! Could you please give an example how to incentivise a real estate company (who already a regular customer) to buy gift cards to their association? Or bring this opportunity in their attention? Thank you!
These 4 proper strategies are: 1. Utilize Ads 2. Review Sites 3. Influencer Marketing 4. Build a Community Thank you for these undeniably awesome and on-point ideas. It is indeed a great help for restaurant owners that are not yet utilizing the power of social media. Kudos to you! 🙌
Thanks for the kind words Anand! Trying my best to share my experience and thoughts :) Let me know if you have any topics you'd like me to cover next time.
Hi Wilson, opened first business 10 months ago and have struggled for customer loyalty. Your breakdown of being a commodity vs being a brand was profound for me; really hit the nail on the head. Happy to subscribe for more content. Thanks again.
Glad to hear this helped! I think a lot of times it is a small mindset shift that will make big leaps in how you operate your marketing, operations, and staff culture. Best of luck Adam!
Awesome video Wilson! I do Facebook ads which can really help restaurant grow super fast 😄 one thing a restaurant is have video testimonials of customers who've had a good experience! Run it as a Facebook ad and then retarget those people! Again awesome video 👌
100%! Testimonials and other ads that help familiarize the customer with the restaurant is crucial. Too many people think that someone, who has never heard of them before, will instantly go to their restaurant from just one promo ad. It's all about keeping top of mind and really understanding human psychology :) Thanks for dropping by Aaron!

Great video. Only thing is you can't offer something for free if they will leave a review. Google doesn't allow that. You can give them something if they left a review, but you can't promise something if they will leave a review.

Did I just fell in love with you? probably! Because now I am confused if I have been watching your videos for the content or just to watch you. Love the way you talk and projected the entire strategies in this video.
Hi ! I like your video, and i have a question... how to manage a restaurant social media but our food prize is a little bit expensive ? Our restaurant has a pretty low traffic because our food price. i know this is a challenge for me to make a better strategy. Our biggest competitor is food stall that exactly selling same type of food, that probably cost less than a dollar. How to attract more people to come to our restaurant by social media only ? i expect answer from you Mr. Lee , but maybe if the viewer who see this comment section has other method, i will listen ! Thank you verymuch youtube !
you have to do a better job selling your overall experience. it is really different experience from a sit down restaurant vs. a food stall. There is more to a business than the price. People go to a food stall for a reason and people go to a restaurant for a reason. Find that reason (s) and market it on your social media. And understand that social media is just one channel - you have to think about the full customer journey and all the possible touchpoints they could find out about you. Each positive interaction means a step closer to being a customer at your business. Each negative interaction means them going to a competitor.
Great job! Love the tips and the way you explained it, just wrote it down and going to implement. Just launched an online food business called Healthy Box Portugal! 💫🧡🤞
Considering that I have a solid brand and have some very attractive visuals and that I just opened, would be a smart move to go all out on paid ads on various social media and restaurant discovery platforms?
I wouldn't recommend it if you just opened. You want to make sure you have all your operations, food quality, and service all dialed in. Cause if you pump customers in when you don't have those set up well, you'll end up getting bad reviews + word of mouth. I would be a little more patient on the paid ads.
But what if influencer demands $ for the work??? 😄 Really like your strategies. Would you please make one for getting large catering orders please. How to.
Great question Valentina! If the influencer asks for monetary compensation, then it is fair to inspect whether the proposal makes sense for your business. There are many factors to think about, the price, their community & engagement, what they will do etc. You'd probably want to ask for their media kit as well if they do ask for compensation. If they dont ask for compensation, then you both acknowledge that it is basically a trade in services. And I'll write down that topic idea. Thanks! If you have any other questions, feel free to join our FB group!
Adds have a big downside: people know you are buying their votes. If you are running your business on the foundations of integrity than few but meaningful posts are the best way. Giving discounts out via social media is also in my view a cheap shot. If you believe in your product and service do not EVER hand out free bees. Again, you try to buy your votes, not a healthy long term strategy, it will back fire🌞. Apart from that, good broadcast. Keep it coming
Without the right strategy and know-how, ads can be hurtful to a business. So I only recommend it when people really understand it. I don't agree that ads rreduce your business integrity or a cheap shot. Are Nike, Pepsi, etc etc. cheap shots then? They make great products. Do they not believe in their products? Discounting is a strategy. The whole idea of "build a good product and they will come" is a very optimistic tune. There needs to be some activation to get ppl who are at the fence OR to clear certain stock or etc etc. Yes throwing discounts and promos left and right will cheapen the brand and train people to wait for the discount. But that isn't strategically done then. That is just poor understanding of psychology and business. I definitely don't recommend ads to beginners
Yep people love free. There needs to be a way to recapture those individuals though. Goal is not just to bring attention but to get returning customers from that strategic play :)
I have just read your yelp reviews, how come you don’t respond on those comments? You have only 3 1/2 stars and there’s not a single reply back. Just curious if this is intentional or if this is a platform that doesn’t sit well with 720 sweets.
Great question! It's more on the latter. If you _play_ their games (as in pay), you'll have everything nice and dandy. If not, well let's just say...it just becomes a shell of what it's supposed to be. But if you don't get in their crosshairs, then absolutely should engage in the comments. Also recommend taking a look at my recent video about the updates on the business!
