Finally understood that this is E and F chord in action the Phrygian Dominant thing and the Dmin is the replacement of F. So in essence the Ab tere Bin first line is essentially a movement from E to F, but the relative minor used for F. The A G and F is a different story and is seen in some other examples. But the lack of 2flat maj chord intrigued me here when the melody was in fact indicating it’s need. This one lesson is a rythm and leads gold mine. I have been waiting for this lesson for long and now I have got it . I am happy to tell you that the chords and strumming patterns I had figured out by myself are almost the same as you showed in the lesson except I had used only E chord (not E7) and had not used hammering effect in strumming pattern . Thanks so much for your excellent lesson.

Brilliant! Worth the wait. So I can use E7 instead of E Major all the time or is this an exceptional case? Also what western scale is this based on? Thank you so much for these videos Pawan.
E7 makes it sound richer, it's possible to use in this song as the scale uses D note instead of D# (except when moving through the progression that has the G chord). not aligned with any of the western scales. uses Ahir Bhairav raag as a base, check out my lesson below, it has many major scales including this one explained with examples. th-cam.com/video/vzZvKxte5h0/w-d-xo.html
hi Sunny, these patterns are tricky, you can start with simple ones initially while singing and gradually move to trickier patterns once you get into the groove, keep practising and it will get better! god bless :)

Brilliant! Worth the wait. So I can use E7 instead of E Major all the time or is this an exceptional case? Also what western scale is this based on? Thank you so much for these videos Pawan.
E7 makes it sound richer, it's possible to use in this song as the scale uses D note instead of D# (except when moving through the progression that has the G chord). not aligned with any of the western scales. uses Ahir Bhairav raag as a base, check out my lesson below, it has many major scales including this one explained with examples.

hi Sunny, these patterns are tricky, you can start with simple ones initially while singing and gradually move to trickier patterns once you get into the groove, keep practising and it will get better! god bless :)
