I have the Scout Carbon as a beginner. I agree, it's a thing of beauty and btw the engine rocks! Sadly, I've damaged something almost every time I've taken it out. Four separate spar repairs so far: two during assembly/disassembly (?!?) and 2 during hard-ish landings. Quite easy to repair actually but it can be bit unsettling for a newbie. The guys at Team Fly Halo have been great.
I don't paramotor or know much about it, but I discovered your channel about a week ago and man I am fascinated. Makes me want to get away from NYC so that I could really enjoy something like this. Maybe one day.
Congrats to Eddie!! Smart move by SCOUT.. I got my Enduro thanks to you Tucker. Looking forward for more videos of both of you guys back in the air. 👍🏼
Hey Tucker, Thanks for all these great vids. Really good info. I have an Enduro and had a hard time assembling and disassembling UNTIL...I watched Miroslav's how to video (on TH-cam). Now it is very easy. Laying the enduro over on the harness was the key. It took the weight off and made it dead effortless. Keep up the good work!
I wish Black Hawk recognized the promotional value of "Happy Tucker" like Scout and Team Fly Halo seems to. You should be saying, "The Scout is an awesome second paramotor to graduate into. This Black Hawk is a great option for those getting started in paramotors." Instead the current situation is, "Ugh Black Hawk. Buy it nice or buy it twice. Learn from my hardships." It's just a shame. Also, as subscriber I selfishly want Eddie back in the sky. :)
Thanks for this video... First time I've seen anyone take the time to explain the two cages. Will definitely be looking at the Enduro due to my noob status.
Really sexy frame, but I'm a bit divided if it's worth the extra weight. As much as I love the Scout and Nirvana designs, I also like the fact that some paramotors on the market just weight around 17 kg. Then there are some paramotors with other unique features that makes a buying decision even harder. I hate to make compromises when I buy stuff since it's so hard to know which one that will benefit you most. Since my current paramotor works well, I happily stick with it :)
Only 4lbs (around 2kgs) isn’t much... can’t see that as a major factor for most people. Carbon coming apart/building up easier is cool and useful. Carbon looks cool Carbon having motor a touch closer also seems like a really small issue too.
Good job tucker, when putting piston rings on they should not be stretched diagonally but spread apart then placed over the piston. The openings should not both face the same way. You did a good job but I would open it up again to look for that needle roller. If it picks up in the air flow within the motor it could lead to a serious failure if it is inhaled into the cylinder.
Great comparison vid. I'm interested in knowing in the next few months if you notice some more differences...like how well the carbon fiber lasts over the next year, if you notice any fuel savings, things of that nature...stay safe!
Really enjoy your videos, what do you think about Air Conception 42lb nitro 200? Currently I fly the Weight Shift Trike, but am thinking about getting into paramotoring.
Great videos Tucker, really enjoying watching them and being inspired to take up PPG, I have wanted to free fly but now I think PPG is the way to go as it opens up so much more flight time when the wind isn't right or you don't have a hill etc. How would you compare the Parajet and the Scout setups??
Tucker, I know nothing about paramotor flying other than I have learned from your videos, my question is how much weight can you carry , I also watched your long distance icurus flight and was wondering if their was something you could safely attach to your motor that would allow the power from the engine to charge your video camera and cell phone.
Great video Tucker. Have you had any problems with the exhaust system? I've heard of problems of exhaust cracking on the 185 Moster Plus engine. Thanks Bob
What motor and wing did you start with? I think I'm sold on the enduro I'm just curious.... what wing would you recommend to someone hoping to advance fast and just fly like you do explore and make vids and have fun....
hey bro new to your channel. not sure if u have seen any of my comments. bro love your channel. Im hooked. I want to try this out bad. Im a quick learner
Tommy B hey Tommy I'm the exact same. Loving ALL of these videos, watched them all. I'm trying to find the right motor to buy. I wish there was someone (I suppose like Tucker) whom I can trust to lead me in the right direction. If you want to talk further about paramotors hmu @youcanfindfrankie@gmail. com
When can you fly paramotors... I know the FAA rule is between the hours of sunset and sunrise but when is that exactly??? like sunrise and sunset you can easily find out when that is but how long after sunrise and how much before sunset are you allowed to fly????
Hey tucker, old video but what rack did you use on your Subaru hitch? I’m about to buy my first scout enduro and need to figure out transportation ASAP
can you make a video showing just how much easier it breaks down than the enduro frame? also i want to see how small the unit is completely broken down anyways.
@@kevinrenner7848 Thank you! Can you tell me what size chute I need and where I can get one please? I'm between 205 and 210 lbs. , depending on the day of the week. Lol

Just to clarify, this is the same Scout I've been flying, just with a new cage and prop. We're still stuck with one paramotor. :/
Tucker Gott So disappointing! #SCOUT
Oh man. How did Scout expect you to do a true comparison without sending a complete motor.
A whole other motor is crazy expensive. With the small community of PPG, i doubt they're a big company that could afford an entire engine.
Isn't the suspension on the carbon model (i.e., as it would come new from Scout, not as a partial upgrade) completely different?

Ric Winter how far and how high can you go on the scout enduro
Hi Tucker, thanks for a nice, brief comparison.

Hallucinogenichusky I always hear bad things about flattop too.
Love the creative filming and approach!

Thanks for another great video Tucker!
sweet set-up.!!
Another great video!! Thanks!
As a PAP PA125 pilot I can confirm that torque can easily be eliminated. Using a stainless steel frame.....
I would love to fly one. :)
You're always welcome in the Netherlands! 👍
Yay fellow dutcher here :)
VriesAirTeam FTW! 👍😎
Frank de Roos I'm confused between PAP Thor 130 /Parajet Maverick/ scout? What should I buy?

im wanting to remove the spacers on my Parajet zenith as well
Can you talk about prop size and if longer = better.
So can I buy the Enduro and just get the carbine frame later and switch it out? New to this! Nobody around my part of N Carolina seems to know shit

Get training first and foremost! that's more important, plus your trainer will be able to guide you into the right equipment for your price range.
Hey Tucker, is the carbon frame compensating the engine torque more than the enduro one?
Tucker: "if you guys have any questions hit me up in the comments... how Tucker responds to the questions in the comments... " "

Hey Tucker...who sells those airfoil T-shirts?
Hi Tucker, do you habe any expirience with the scout NXT?
Hey tucker, old video but what rack did you use on your Subaru hitch? I’m about to buy my first scout enduro and need to figure out transportation ASAP
can u get duel tank on a scout for long distance flights?
Do either motor come with a complete carry case that fits over the motor?
I'm not talking about the prop cover.
I wish I had been smart about it and just bought the Scout from the get go. My Blackhawk has been in the shop for over half the time I've had it... 👎🏼
Sounds like my old Blackhawk. :/ Sorry man.
Tucker Gott, just wondering why you do not use the throttle cable over the arm instead of under the arm?
@@TRoy-tz4on incase you drop it. Easier to get, will hanging over on top of arm vessf us racing to get it lower
which way does the scout tend to turn without finessing the breaks
Ok , that's about choices of two frames , but Scout on their web site has about 6 different engine choices .
How to chose , any reviews on them ???
Hi Tucker
Can you speak to the loudness of PPG? I'm thinking of getting in....but am put off by the noise...
Thanks.
Stephen
The helmet I wear has 25db ear muffs so the noise is not an issue.
Wish I had bought one of these instead of my ZX 14 Ninja
can you make a video showing just how much easier it breaks down than the enduro frame? also i want to see how small the unit is completely broken down anyways.
I have exactly that video filmed! Will be posting soon.
thats awesome. keep the content coming!
Tucker how did you use flume without getting a copyright?
👍👍
I'm looking at buying a scout carbon paramotor, never have owned or flew one, what specific one would you recommend.
Hi Tucker, I am planning to buy twin seater quad, could you suggest me which brand I will look for?
What's the price difference? thx
How did you learn all of this stuff
You mean aluminum, right? Or does the Enduro actually have stainless steel parts in the frame?
I believe you're right. Aluminum with some parts being stainless steel. I'll have to double check.
I think they switched from 304 Stainless to 7075 Aluminum for the hoop just about 1 year ago.
hi Tucker what wing do you fly with and what is a recommended wing for a begginer in paramotoring ? thanks from the uk
Are the engines the same? Vittorazi moster 185 plus?
do you disassemble the unit after every flight ?
what's kind of glider you have and did you get it from scout
How much was the carbon motor?
When you buy one, does it come with the chute and harness, or do you buy that separately?
You have to buy chute separately.
@@kevinrenner7848 Thank you! Can you tell me what size chute I need and where I can get one please? I'm between 205 and 210 lbs. , depending on the day of the week. Lol
What's the price on this thing?
Hey Tucker do you know any Instructor in Chicago land area and Dealer for Scout ? Thank you :)
Back when Scout was shiny.
Where are the music credits? intro specifically. hopefully shazam grabs it
Where would you purchase a scout carbon or enduro because I can't find any listings online?
At a dealer by phone or email.
What size of prop you fly ?
Cost difference is????
top gum f2
what is the dry weight of the scout carbon?
I believe the dry weight is 57lbs.
Tucker Gott nice. Thanks
s
lol that carbon fiber is alot stronger than stainless
Vaun Hebda Yeah, but you also have to take into account density
