I’ve been meaning to make a Jujutsu Kaisen Maki song for sooo long LOL. I think I kept putting it off because I love Maki and her story so so much, and was afraid I wouldn’t quite get it right/be able to capture it in a track. Hopefullyyy I did her justice with this. I had a lot of fun making this song, and wanted it to be as punchy and fierce as I could make it :D

honestly, feel like zach is kinda underrated. Whenever he shows up on a cypher or even his own songs, he usually snaps, or atleast produces some shit that's great on the ears

I think what’s impressive is that your melodic singing flows super well and and works so well with the instrumental. A lot of younger rappers and pop music makers don’t hit that nearly as well as you do here

Honestly I can’t stop listening to this- I think I’m on my 14th listen, it just is wow. The way you captured Maki’s character, I can hear her stubbornness and her determination. And the chorus is so catchy and powerful. This truly is Maki’s song! Amazing job as always!

Another incredible song, Hala! This just captures Maki's character so hecking well! The chorus is so freaking catchy, the vocal tone works so perfectly with that banger of an instrumental, and the lyrics are just the icing on the cake for this one! You keep on improving, Hala, and it always sounds better and better! Amazing job on this!

This song came out on the last day of my old job that had become suffocating, a job I had kept because of everything I had sacrificed to get there and out of a sense of obligation to the coworkers whom had helped me. It just embodies the feelings I've felt since striking out to forge my own path after being abandoned by almost everyone I used to care for. So thank you Hala for making something that helps me remember why I didn't just give up every time I hit rock bottom.

This is exactly the kind of inspiration song that I can see either directly inspiring some young girl, second hand inspiring a young girl after hearing it playing on a lunchtime slot tween drama, or neither of those but a teacher really likes it so the year 6 class is going to sing it for assembly and everyone's gonna listen, in the long tradition of songs that definitely includes Heaven Is A Place On Earth and Survivor, but also Heaven by Yanou but "we're in heaven" is replaced by "we're leaving". I would guess someone also made their class sing Where Is The Love? in this tradition, too.

Not sure anyone will ever see this, but I just have to say that the line "years of days" hits so hard personally.
It's clear you didn't mean it as a stand-alone line, and that it is supposed to combine with the following line, but because it is cut off, that gave me time to put thought into what years of days could mean, so I paused the video to think about it. "After all the years of days" I suppose it could mean that you feel each day passing in each year for several years, which is just SUCH a depressing line that it got to me.
