dude i started playing this game on my white-now-yellow-stained dreamcast a few days ago and the rosters of all the teams, especailly the lakers, brought me to tears... what a time. and what a game. it's really fun if you dont have time to really dedicate for "serious" or today's modern games. like it legit makes me laugh.. and the replay feature (during actual gameplay) is a true work of art in of itself. blessed to have experienced this then and now. long live dreamcast
I liked nba showtime on DC but I couldn't get into this version of the game on DC. I think they took the showtime DC version and tried to force in a third player for each team without really trying to rebalance the game enough.
I wonder why this series didn't just stick with one name? Like as a kid I had no clue Hangtime was sequel to Jam. If I di I would have gotten it on the N64
They didn't upgrade the rosters properly. Even NBA Showtime attributes of players is laughable. Look at Miami. Mourning has a low block rating. Hardaway hardly has any dribbling ability. Come on.

This game is a dark horse. Best post nba jam te basketball game to ever exist in this subgenre
