I used to do audit engagement for Many small productions houses and dharma and excel were our biggest clients. One thing stands out is Financial discipline in Excel. Karan is now focusing on it. And one of the most heavy weight expense line item was Talent fees for Dharma and for excel it was pure production cost. many of project which normal people will thought success for dharma was actually Low ROI in fact bottom line loss making latest example Rock and Ranni movie. I hope his late wisdom of more financial control over company help to solve this. But it will be better if dharma sold some % to other production companies for purely financial POV also we can see new air in Dharma he is literally making lame movies for long time now. Expect latest kill which was collab again but good collab.
