those initial bass drums and guitar growing, growing.... reminds me of Portal and then it gets the RoB unique treatment with clean, tight, metronomic rythm and melody...
It's a eerie/ raw way of describing a person undergoing a shamanic transformation/ enlightenment. His blood burns painfully and once he starts the exuvia/ rebirth process, it's frightening and reveals their past comforting life to have been in blissful ignorance of the frightening truth Gaia protected him from. Pale Wolves of Pythia is about another painful shamanic transformation, but with Zeus instead of Gaia.
man, this is insane.what a track.made my night while roaming in the forest.
wood spirit im jealous.
I hope you got the spirits to stop following you
@@Metalfreak327This seems like a song that gets them to follow you.
Beyond "music". No words...
This makes me cry of excitement.
This track has unbelievable desperate mood. Last two albums of RoB are definitely on my private most impressive Extreme Metal masterpieces

Seeing this live was like entering another dimension
portal is 1 wicked band. actually found them when i went to find the other 'portal' group I thought was nice. they weren't metal at all.
i always feel some particular atmosphere Listening TROB and Portal. like they came from similar dimensions.
How primal nature callsback to us
TROB doesn't seem to miss a beat. Great as usual. I dare say...better.
Creepy, enchanting, nasty and fuk'n heavy... Love it!
P.S.: Album: Ein Meisterwerk!!!

I watched "The Reptile" today and was SHOOK when I heard this sample lol. Always assumed it was from some voodoo ritual movie or something.
Listen this is Like Consuming mushrooms or near a experience beyond understanding.
what is this song about? I'd like to think the lyrics describe a sacrificial ritual of some sort from the victim's perspective.
