with the new talents every main except for battle staff/cannon deals does more proc dmg than staff. if you are level 180 at least. I honestly don't know what is better. I have never put any stones on a staff. what you "need" (in my opinion you do not need either) depends on how you will use the staff: if you play a lot around your main procs then the int will help increase the dmg by a little bit. if you play with blazing earth a lot the att should do more then the int
@@atlanticaepidemie80 i see Lvl169 staffs procing for 180k with skater board, i changed to staff and only proc 93k, with the same mount. Difference is just 3k int (judge/twilight gear) No stones at all. I'm wondering eagles or whale stones ...
@@BastivanDero I assume the difference comes from att buffs. to make a real comparison both need the same % att. the int does not do a lot. I made a video on proc dmg in general and how to increase it where I explain that stuff more.
how so? both staff mains obviously have the battle magic talent but that clearly says it increases spell damage by 25%. while technically it might not be spell damage I can see that being legit... spell reflex does not increase the proc dmg. maybe burst magic? or am I missing something?

since the release of the new talents this video doesn't really mean anything anymore. because this talent is so strong they just gave it to every main (except for cannon and the mages). so yea, every main can now do the same dmg with procs (if you are high enough level)

What is better, attack power or int starstones in the staff weapon?
It's somehow riddiculus bow proc deals more damage as staff

I heard this works for Atlantian Battlemage.
whole bunch of ppl in NA started doing it

doesnt staff main have a similar talent to the bow one? do you know if its bugged as well?
if you tell me which one I can try. I'm only aware of the battle magic talent that increases the dmg which seems legit to me from the description

Mount proc counts as attack buff on main -> 200% more
