I know of an Indian woman who teased her neighbor endlessly for giving birth to twin girls. Imagine her horror on discovering within months that she had conceived twin girls too.
I work in a grocery store, and we have a regular customer with a 3yo named Nora. One day, I was working and out of the corner of my eye I see a little girl run by and for a second I thought it was her, same curly hair, height, everything. When the dad caught up to her, I joked that I thought it was the regular customer's daughter, and he played along, saying "Haha, it totally is! Haha!" So I looked at the girl and said "Hi, Nora! Hahaha!" The dad looks at me and says "That's her name." 😮
Jah, there's a name for it if you fall out of a motored boat going in circles, . It is called the circle of death. They were very lucky to be able to get back on the boat.
I wish I had a video of an unbelievable occurrence at a play that I saw. An actor tossed a (plastic) flower behind him and it flew high enough and with the right trajectory to land in a vase (stem in) sitting on a piano, about ten feet above him. There was stunned silence then about a five minute ovation when everyone noticed what happened but he wasn't sure what all the commotion was about. 😮😅
I was playing backgammon and I was shaking the dice in a oval cup and hit the table with the cup. Both dice came out and balanced on the lip of the cup. 1 in a million chance of happening. Good video.

Doing a 360 somersault and the bike carrying on its own and me sitting in the road unharmed. 2) as a cub scout randomly throwing my cap backwards while seated and it hitting the roof 20 metres away and landing on the troop leaders head. Every time I see these, I not only think of the things which *I* did not get on camera over the decades, but I obviously consider the millions of events OTHERS obviously couldn't capture for posterity.
That first one felt relatable. I moved my car out from under a tree in a storm, and when I was safely back inside I looked outside and a huge branch had snapped off of the tree and fallen right where my car had been before I moved it.
When my little sister was a baby, she had this plate that had Elmo from Sesame Street on it, smiling and waving. My mother was cutting hotdogs for her for dinner one night and she accidentally dropped half of the hotdog. not only did it land sticking straight up, it also landed perfectly inside Elmo's mouth. I just remember telling my mother, "you couldn't do that again if you tried!"
Back in the 80’s I worked on a paper truck throwing newspapers. After a couple of years I had 17 total stand on the end upright. Unfortunately that was before cell phones with cameras.
I liked them all. One summer when I was a child we were outside playing four square in the street at night under the street light and I saw a mouse jump out of the gutter. There was an old flattend beer can in the street and I picked it up to threw it at the mouse so it wouldnt come our way and it hit the mouse and cut it in half. We were amazed! I’ve also a plastic solo cup drop off the counter and bounce into the cabinet on the shelf with the potatoes in my pantry.
When you think about it, it's not much of a "coincidence" that a news reporter reporting on a very dangerous intersection sees an accident at the intersection.
