I suppose u can keep Crystals on rough selenite for charging as Rough and selenite plates are same.... in fact Raw crystal are always better than cut and polished...

No they are 2 different crystals selenite is gypsum a soft crystal and clear Quartz belongs to Quartz family. Other crystals which Belong to Quartz family are Ametyst, Citrine, Lemon Quartz.... Rutilated Quartz... u can wash Quartz under running water but Selenite cannot be immersed in water as it gets to dissolve ...I hope this answers
