Vlian 77 I think it’s honestly just a change of pace in things instead of doing the same thing every game. I mean, yea it’s weird, but it’s still a chase and hide horror game where this time, the protagonist gonna fight back their way
honestly i had really high hopes for this game when i first watched a playthrough of it. the first two bosses were unique and pretty scary, but then the plot ventured off into goofy territory imo
It was really cool that you help may and his father and then dorothy and his son. But the plot needed to focus on alyssa. Corroder is hands down the best stalker. His area is creepier than other ones and his character is genuinly creepy in a slightly campy way. Sleedgehammer could have been creepier if he wasn't so burly and buffed. Chopper's weapons were cool but his design just makes him funny but I think it was because alyssa becoming more proficient at being a rooder that the chopper and scissor twins's designs weren't intended to be creepy.
If one day I kill someone and plus for taking heroin and the judge give me 100 years sentence, I think I gonna interrupt the judge and say "Don't say I got 100 years sentence like I gonna still be alive when I'm reach to 70, just say which prison is my new home that i gonna die in" That right there gonna be in front page in every newspaper and top story in every media page you all can find in facebook or google
It's a sentence to hell/purgatory. In some beliefs you are only sentence X amount of time for your sins. Some don't find it justifiable to sentence someone for infinite amount if time for finite sin.
I mean prisoners irl can be sentenced to prison time that goes waaaaaaaay beyond a humans life expectancy, sometimes a life sentence can only be 20yrs or so and prison time can be reduced by good behaviour, so going way last that ensures the prisoner dies incarcerated. Of course, this is probably just a supernatural ghost thing
Tbh when I played this my first thought was that it was more like Sailor Moon or Power Rangers than a horror game lol. The way she pulls out her magic bow and vanquishes them is a bit cheesy 😂🤣😂😋
That is exactly how I felt when I played clock tower 3.... And the only reason I played more that one time was only expecting that it would turn out to be scarier or more difficult at some point!
Would of been a little better if dan barrows the original scissorman was in this game and all you could do was run and hide from him instead of two goofy looking scissor pepole you had to fight.
Alyssa having a magical girl transformation and suddenly fighting off her killer stalkers with a holy bow of light kinda kills the horror aspect of the game 👀

They are a different experience. In haunting ground fiona is helpless and that is emphasized a lot with her body language, reactions and having to rely on hewie. In clock tower 3 alyssa is a rooder, she isn't that helpless, getting to fight your stalkers in clock tower 3 is all the more gratifying because they were chasing you around and you couldn't do much.
Clock tower went from "Defenseless Character escapes psychopath with giant Scissors" to "Spooky 3D anime game where YOU can kill the baddies"
At least they kept the scissorman
