it was vox’ idea to choose something based on latin words. and so they went with
lux (latin for “light”) + regium (latin for “king”).
they changed the “u” in luxium to an “e” instead, because according to internet, luxium was already a thing, lol.
and that’s how luxiem was born, folks.
