I'm sure there's a way to find out, but when you walk in your room and they have pool instructions, it would be handy if they posted the pool hours right there
Pool hours always change at hotels. I guess it depends on weather, staffing issues, pool issues, etc. It would be nice if they post something at the check-in desk/kiosk. Thanks Richard!
@@NuYawk When I'm booking a vacation, pool hours are important to me; if I have children, especially in Atlantic City or Las Vegas, I need to schedule time for me to hit the casino. Pool hours changing, constantly, doesn't help me, especially if it changes when I get there
I once stayed at a hotel where the arm rests on the chair were sticky. You had to peel your arms off it. My roommate wanted to call down and complain (it was gross!) but I can't deal with all that. Still, it sticks out in my mind, well, forever, but oddly it doesn't stop me from rebooking a night at the hotel. Maids take note: sit in the chair and see what the guests see. I know your subscribers will say 'why didn't you call down?' When I go on vacation, it's to get away from all that. It's worth repeating: to get away from it all. These days I haggle at the front desk, can't work the TV; I put the 'do not disturb' sign on the door and I mean it! You can direct me to the nearest bar.
There are always way more towels than what I need when staying one night. It doesn't happen often, but when necessary, I'll cover the seating surface with a towel or two. But again, it doesn't happen often. Thanks Richard!
I want to add something. When you call and complain, there's 'when are they coming up?' What happens if they can't fix the stickiness and there's no more available rooms? Sitting and waiting for the mercy of Housekeeping to come up, does not spell freedom which is what you went away for. When your wife, husband, friend carries on your complaint throughout the day??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????Single life; have mercy. You without a doubt will not be happy without me. It takes times, but oh, yes you will. Your instinct is right.
My first, too, and my favorite. I was playing the quarters slots and my friends playing $5 blackjack kept coming over to borrow money from my quarter wins. The difference from my gambling today was if I wasn't winning on one slot, I'd quickly switch to another. Now I sit there and try and get my money back from the same machine, to no avail

Jeff, I go to AC every year, staying a couple of night for the first time at Resorts. Would you recommend the Rendezvous Tower or the Ocean Tower for a first time stay at Resorts?
I like the Ocean Tower but many people do not simply because the rooms are so small and the bathrooms are the smallest ones I've ever seen in any hotel (remember, this is an old tower). I usually travel alone when recording. I would never recommend the Ocean Tower to a couple or family simply because of the bathroom situation! While the rooms are small, most have been renovated recently and have a 'Margaritaville' vibe, very nice. Also the pool and deck (which is also nice, refurbished and overlooks the boardwalk and ocean) is in the Ocean Tower. That being said, if it's your first visit I would recommend the Rendezvous Tower simply because the rooms are more conventional and larger. If you have a few minutes, and your staying in the Rendezvous Tower, head over to the Ocean Tower and see if you can find a room with housekeeping in it, you can always ask to peek in while the room is being made up. I have several videos of rooms in both towers and the pool deck. Just do a search on the Nu Yawk channel. It should help you make up your mind! Have fun and good luck Scott!
Gorgeous sunset at the beginning of the video, Jeff! I stayed at the Rendezvous Tower a few years back and I thought the room was spacious and nice, but there was a door that goes into the room next door. I placed a chair in front of it at night in case someone accidentally came in.
When I remember, I also put a chair in front of the adjoining room door as well as the hallway door. If there is only one chair it goes in front of the hallway door. Just added security. Thanks for watching and subscribing Sage!
Stayed at resorts last year.Customer service at front desk was terrible. The room was terrible. Eateries aren’t good. I threw away my player card Never going back. Ocean is the place to be.
Yes. You can't really compare the two. If you were to compare to the Borgata, perhaps Hard Rock or Ocean are a better match! Thanks for watching and subscribing Andy!

I like their blue carpeting in the hallways; is it blue or black? Looks great!

Cool rooms. But I like the look and feel of the Ocean and Borgata a little more. You?
Yes. Like Bally's, you can't really compare these rooms to those of the Borgata, Hard Roch or Ocean. Thanks Dan!

Thanks for the visit John!
Resorts needs to bring back the hot tub in the pool area. That, and they charge as much as Hard Rock for their rooms, but they aren't Hard Rock.
Thanks for stopping by!

Hey Jeff, The Rendezvous Tower was built in the early 2000s and opened in 2004 not the 1980s.
