A great switch that is not heavy and is the “starter” switch is the gateron milky yellows. It depends if you like clicky, tactile or linear switches. But because you don’t like the browns, I think linears will be your best option. One of the good options being the gateron milky yellow

ikr.....what switch do I recommend? do you like linear, clicky or tactile? Do you want sound, feel or both? Are you going to lube or do you want an "out of the box" smooth switch? Are you willing to frankenswitch? Are you willing to try Topre or (a huge step here) Alps? lolz.
@@ytkite rofl...to correctly "film" a switch means you must sit with the switch in your lap and watch a film. Only films of an hour or more are appropriate and only one switch at a time can be filmed. THAT is what you should tell them.
Thank you for putting the time in for this setup! I'm new so I'm looking through your videos to see if you have another setup video PS4 /Elgato /Chat Link / lights /Microphone/ headset /Streamlabs settings.
Love the video and all, but you absolutely don't need the cloud lifter in this setup because the preamps in the goxlr are able to easily run the sm7b and re20 so the pro caster will be absolutely fine just a recommendation to save 150$, also switches I would say if you want some decent tactile go with halo clears cheap and very tactile.
Good video, though I want to clear one small misinformation regarding mic setup. I’m using GoXlr Mini with Procaster myself. GoXlr Mini has good enough amplifier to work with Procaster without cloudlifter with no additional noise introduced. Setting up 50-51db of initial gain and adding some post (no more than 12-15db) in GoXlr itself will be more than enough. I’m not saying that using cloudlifter is explicitly bad, but it is additional 200 usd expense, which does not really required.
I really love this guide that you put together. It is very informative and I’m working on like a mobile battle station with a Home Streaming dock. Basically I’m gonna have all the nice stuff set up on a desk on an over the bed table, just because of my disability. But I’m going with a desktop replacement laptop because of my disability to power everything. But otherwise it is very similar choices that I’m looking at and it really helps me get an idea on how the quality is and I must say I am very impressed. Thank you very much for this great video.
Tbh, the quality of this video is just OVER the top. Well done. I did not need to watch this but I still watched it till the end. Thanks for this one! :D ( THE WIDE MONITOR IS INSANE )
The switches you have in your keyboard is kinda hatede in the keyboard, in my experience i found the looped novelkey creams switches with a brace plate, you can try to search for a sound test on youtube, but love the video keep it up :P
Mate, I appreciate ur setup, its helped me a lot for streaming Fortnite and Minecraft and i recommend this setup for any begginer planning to become a streamer
Custom Keyboard switches recommendations: Cherry MX red for moderate silent ness, cherry MX Red Silenus (pinks) for complete linear silent ness, and a Cherry MX browns for very tactile and a moderate clickyness...
Personally, I would go with Cherry MX Silver switches. I have blues there clicky and I like them but they're a little bit too loud. Expesially with streaming their supper fast and quite.
@@vibes3139 that only got popular by tfue. 60 gram spring weight??? ah hell nawww.............. best switch option is gateron yellows. Fast, smooth, premium feeling. Those creams are scratchy as HELL when they stock.

I think lubed holy pandas would probably be a good switch. I haven't tried them, but I think people call them holy for a reason.
Holy pandas are overpriced for how they sound, I would reccomend picking up Akko Cs Ocean blues
thank you for this you transitioned this video perfectly explained everything

reds are loud still

No don’t no DO NOT BUY CHERRY SWITCHES. They’re one of the worst switches man

You should go with cherry red switches for your corsair keyboard. They are not too loud but still give a satisfying feedback to type with. :D
