What does Marg do? She owns a company? That she has been sued for. She also does NOTHING but sit around her house like a diva dictating to everyone what to do or what she needs. She acts like an obnoxious know it all and people fall for her but she is faking it, she is getting sued left and right. I think that she might be envious of Jennifer and her husband, I think Marg wants that lavish lifestyle and her home has never even been finished, she has some serious lawsuits and I think that is where the resentment is coming from.
Jennifer raised the first four kids w/o a nanny. When the fifth one came along, the Aydins had moved to an area with no school buses. Jennifer realized she'd have to bundle her newborn and three kids in the car to take the oldest one to school and back. Her husband suggested she hire the nanny. Five kids are HARD WORK. Screw anyone who thinks any differently.

The show is derived from ‘desperate housewives.’ Every woman on that show at one point was: married, divorced, widowed, single, single and dating, separated, etc etc. Being specifically a housewife isn’t relevant. Andy has also detailed this. The term housewife has been flipped on its head. The aspiring housewife was also chronicled on desperate housewives and is currently on the real housewives. That aspect of life is also relatable.

If you dont work at all you should not need a nanny especially when all your children are school age. My aunts and sisters have been nanny for rich people. Trust and believe they dont raise their kids. They just spend a couple of hours with them. The nanny bathes clothes and help with homework. If you dont work and have money hire someone to cleam your house not take care of your kids. I find it funny when people talk about needing a break from marriage or a spouse, we hear things like: “why did you get married if you need a break from them?”, but when it comes to mommy duties, no one says that. Sunflower Baby We all helped, including my Dad. Mum played golf, tennis, went to book club, had family/friends over to grill/BBQ. We vacationed a fair bit overseas/locally. Over the years she was also the president of the Parent’s association, secretary at the Golf Club, also created a diabetes support group for parents. Also, once we were all in school she went back to work as an accountant which she did for about 15yrs. There were days where she was exhausted, it was hard work for sure.
I don’t particularly care too much for Jennifer But let’s be very clear, motherhood is a full-time job! I love that Jennifer could be at home with her kids and able to take care of the home front while her husband can completely provide without worrying about home! Shame on anyway talking down on it that!

Honestly I know people who have family support and get help even if the dad’s not around and they are still single moms and many moms I know rely on their moms as grandmothers to help with the cooking and cleaning and taking care of the kids and still consider themselves single moms. Andy has also detailed this. The term housewife has been flipped on its head. The aspiring housewife was also chronicled on desperate housewives and is currently on the real housewives. That aspect of life is also relatable.

If you dont work at all you should not need a nanny especially when all your children are school age. My aunts and sisters have been nanny for rich people. Trust and believe they dont raise their kids. They just spend a couple of hours with them. The nanny bathes clothes and help with homework. If you dont work and have money hire someone to cleam your house not take care of your kids. Lower income and middle class women who stay home with no help be it one kid or five is a boss chick in my eyes not one with a nanny

I find it funny when people talk about needing a break from marriage or a spouse, we hear things like: “why did you get married if you need a break from them?”, but when it comes to mommy duties, no one says that. No one cares if you need a break, but don’t pride yourself on being an “old-school, traditional, stay at home mom” when you have a nanny. There is nothing old-school about that. Old school is having 10-11 kids, raising them on your own, cooking all the meals and cleaning the house.

Sunflower Baby We all helped, including my Dad. Mum played golf, tennis, went to book club, had family/friends over to grill/BBQ. We vacationed a fair bit overseas/locally. Over the years she was also the president of the Parent’s association, secretary at the Golf Club, also created a diabetes support group for parents. Also, once we were all in school she went back to work as an accountant which she did for about 15yrs.
There were days where she was exhausted, it was hard work for sure.

My parents had 5 kids, and no nannies, but if they had Jen & Bill's money....I'm sure they would've. I don't think there's any shame in getting help, if you can afford it. Exactly plus comparing herself to a single parent is over the top. She has a husband who out there working to provide her everything she wants, a maid to clean her house, a babysitter to take care of the kids and her mother is her chief 5 out of 7 days a week her kids are in school from 8 till 2 her kids are in school. That means she has 7 hours to do whatever she wants.
Karrah Dedominick sorry just because they all have husbands, maids, nannies that doesn’t take away from your kids wanting or needing you as their mother. You all are seeing being a single mother as a struggle and as a poverty thing and that’s not always the case . Honestly I know people who have family support and get help even if the dad’s not around and they are still single moms and many moms I know rely on their moms as grandmothers to help with the cooking and cleaning and taking care of the kids and still consider themselves single moms. Being a single mom is a very vague term depending on the perception of the person using it. It’s rare to find a Mother who can do it all on her own with no help from anyone
The point I was making is that there are single mothers who don’t have a maids or cooks or a partner who bring in a income they have to do it all on there own she has those things and she doesn’t seem to realize or appreciate how much easier they make it for her.
