I respect Ric's...work and talent. He wrote her out of his will because who filed for divorce? I would not keep my ex husband in my will if we had filed divorce papers. He never said one bad word about her. He simply stated he was abandoned I think he meant emotional and physically as in intimacy...she still lived with him that's the weird part.
Because she didn't abandon him. She was getting older and that pissed him off. Ric was an awesome guy but maybe not the greatest husband toward the end..he had two divorces behind him and wrote his own kids out of the will, three sons I think. But they had a long run in marriage and who knows what really goes on between two long time married people. I think both were probably right and wrong..but the thing is paulina made a lot of money on her own and had million dollar contracts with makeup companies. She and ric didn't keep separate bank accounts. They shared money, there was no his and hers. So she was froze out of her own money when he died and she was written out of the will. She was fighting for her money in court not just rics money.
I kind of like it that they're not in the Hall of Fame. That makes them different and us different because they're less n the mainstream. It also just proves how dumb the powers that be are.
His singing voice is so annoying, yet he writes the best songs I've ever heard. His guitar parts are not amazing, they are adequate at best but really catchy. He's one of my idols.

Its something that would affect a ex-supermodel A LOT. Or so you'd think. It would affect a ave joe or jane... Interesting. If you look at all the husbands of Supermodels they usually aren't also models who do GQ photo shoots all the time. Not even pro athletes. As some actresses do. The husbands are usually very average looking. Though Ric was an ex-pop star. Was once in The Carrs a popular band. Maybe they're tired of the "God's gift to women" guys. The kind that would cheat in a heart beat. Tired of being burned by that type. "Dorky"?? :) OUCH. I guess he was...I just thought of him as another 80's pop band lead singer. Had a few hit tunes. Simple, catchy and unique. The formula to making great pop music. It’s more difficult to do than you may think. The Cars were masters at it.
