- Check out this video to see how to use the MISTI tools, called the Creative Corners to do fun stamping and even stenciling techniques. The tools that come in the MISTI Creative Corners kit can help you stamp straight sentiments, stamp off the edge of your card, create angled patterned paper, as well as angled stamping and even mask stencils to create gradients of color. If you don't have the MISTI Creative Corners I'll share how each piece in the kit is used. If you do have the MISTI Creative Corners, this is your reminder to pull them out to create some fun and dynamic looking cards!

Thank you for leaving small booboos in! It’s gratifying to see that 1. Even the experts make goofs, and 2. They really don’t impact the final product so much. No cause for a meltdown. That’s super helpful for the rest of us to remember.

Thanks for the refresher. Like you Rebecca, I've had my corners for at least a couple of years and I don't recall every using them. I definitely need to pull them out.
After this video I moved them to the front of the drawer where my MISTI's are to remind myself to use them more often!!
Thank you for sharing these tips and tricks. My favourite was how you folded the paper over the edge of the corner to cut a perfect triangle. I can never get that right, so I think this will be a game changer for me. Thank you again, stay safe
Isn't it funny, but something as simple as cutting a triangle is always tough for me too. I do the thing of cutting smaller than I wanted and then wasting the paper having to cut the other side. 😂

One more thing, I love you honestly while making cards and fixing the mistakes with ink. It happens to me a lot, to much and you just gave me another great idea on how to fix it!

Yay! I was one of those asking... I've been out of town so I'm catching up on videos, excited to see this one! These do work on the Tim Holtz platform, as it's magnetic. I've used them plenty of times to align sentiments. Thanks, love your videos, especially when you show your boo boos and how you fixed them. Some of my best stuff has come from fixing what I originally feel is a catastrophic mistake. Slow down, take a breath, don't panic. And really, as Cathy Zielski likes to say, it's just paper
Someone else commented that they also work on the Stampers Up one. I wasn't sure how thick the other platforms openings were. I'd feel awful if I said SURE and then it turned out they were too thick to use!😬
I can't believe I got ink on that panel...not once...but TWICE 😂 Oh well, no one is ever going to accuse me of being a neat crafter 😂
I agree... in the moment it's easy to feel exasperated....."IT'S RUINED"..... but like you said, take that breath and save it because I hate wasting not only supplies but time and effort too! And YES to CZ's mentality. I used to work with someone who would say (back in my scrapbooking days) it's just paper and stickers people. 😂

I’ve had these corners when they first came out but have never used them. Thxs for all the awesome tips. I’ll pull mine out and use them. And I love your eyelashes. How do you get them to curl like that. Amazing. Lov lov them. And PS it just drives me crazy when a person spends their time and energy to make a video and them some one gives you a thumbs down. I recently started getting eyelash extensions again. I was getting them before Covid and then I did not go for a little over a year, but now I am back at it. I missed them! And the young woman who does them is studying to be a nurse so I feel like I am supporting a good cause by getting them.😂

@@mydyisgod You’re welcome! I pretty much leave the corner magnets in the Stamparatus all the time. I get a better impression using them to move the cardstock out from the edges.
I had never heard of the Stamp Market until this video. Of course I had to check it out and fell in love with their ink colors. How do you like their ink. Do you feel it is good quality? Thanks for the new shop. Already spent too much🤪. Also thanks for these tips. Was given a set of these but didn’t know what to do with them.

Great job with the Misti accessories! I have them but haven’t used all the ideas you presented. Always something knew to learn from you! Suck a couple of rainbows in too!
So glad to hear there was at least one idea you hadn't used. I really thought about this one for a while and couldn't come up with anything earth shattering. I did see on My Sweet Petunia they used the triangles and Copics to draw their own plaid, but I'd rather just use a plaid stencil or die set lol. Too lazy! 😂 LOL gotta sneak a couple of rainbows in there ALWAYS😂
When you cut the corner off the 12x12 sheet of paper, or what ever the size you are in quilting terms creating a bias cut. If you have stripes you could get them to be diagonal by just cutting at the same angle.. another thought looking at the corner pieces could this be used on a Magic Mat? The creator uses one along with a acrylic block that only has 1 corner to be a stamp positioner. I hope I am using the right term for the I assume metallic mat that folks are crazy about using magnets to hold your paper.
I don't have that mat so I am not sure, but it is definitely a good idea!
I would like to know if you have had any trouble with the magnets falling out of the corners? I have had a lot of trouble with this.
Well I am missing one lol, so i guess yes? kind of? I think I must've accidentally gotten rid of it when I got rid of the strong round ones the misti came with. I was so afraid that the dogs would eat them I got the bar magnet and tossed the others. oops!
