Someone suggests adding photographs to an international resume format, for example Europe, while others disagree. What is the majority consensus? What to do?
That's a great question! The consensus on including photographs in resumes varies by region. In many European countries, it's common to add a photo, while in the U.S. and some other places, it's usually discouraged to avoid potential bias. It’s best to research the norms specific to the country you’re applying to. Regardless, make sure to craft your resume according to the job description and highlight the most relevant skills and experiences!

Hi sir great video , I am fresher I learned a lot from this video in resume building. I have small query I need more details abt experience or project done how to frame those in resume as a fresher it will needed.
Hello sir, I was experiencing office politics and, despite the market situation, I resigned. It's been two months since I started searching for a job and upskilling myself. My question is: do companies care more about career gaps than skills, and how can I be frank with the interviewer about the situation I faced?
Hello! It’s commendable that you’re upskilling during your job search. Many companies prioritize skills and relevant experience over career gaps, especially if you can demonstrate what you've learned during that time. When speaking with interviewers, be honest about your situation but focus on the positives: highlight your skills, what you gained from the experience, and how you're ready to contribute. Transparency is key, and showing your commitment to growth can make a strong impression. Good luck!
Absolutely! A fresher's resume should be clear and clean, highlighting relevant skills and any internships or projects. Focus on your education, any volunteer work, and specific skills that align with the job you're applying for. Use bullet points for easy readability and keep it to one page if possible. Tailor your resume for each application to showcase how your background fits the role. Good luck!

Hi. I worked as Customer Service Representative for 10 years. I would like to know how can I take my career to the next level. Can you please guide me?
Hi! It's great to hear about your experience in customer service. To take your career to the next level, consider developing specialized skills like leadership, project management, or advanced communication techniques. You might also explore roles in management or training within your field. Networking and seeking mentorship can provide valuable insights as well. Keep pushing forward, and best of luck!
Really awesome content and very useful ♥️ 🎉 and I have one doubt sir, I get so many calls from consultancy and fraud companies , they asking money to get a job. Consultancy is okay, but how to handle the fraud company form their job scams ?
Thank you for the kind words! I'm glad you found the content useful. To handle fraudulent companies, trust your instincts-if something feels off, it probably is. Avoid sharing personal information or paying any fees upfront. Research the company thoroughly and look for reviews or complaints online. It’s always best to apply directly through reputable job boards or company websites. Stay vigilant!
Thank you for your comment! It's true that HR practices can vary by country and region. In the UAE, certain details like nationality, gender, and marital status might still be considered during the hiring process. However, in general, it’s a good idea to focus on showcasing your skills, experience, and qualifications in your resume. The trends of what to include or exclude may change, but your core abilities are what will set you apart. Keep adapting and stay focused on what you bring to the table!
Thanks for the suggestion! I’m planning to create a video on proper email formats and how to write effective emails soon. In the meantime, I’ve made videos related to resume, so check them out! Stay tuned!
It's Monday, a marvelous day. First of all the resume video is outstanding with need information .I hope you are doing well Sid. I am very passionate about Sales and marketing job roles. the only skill I have in myself is communication and interaction skill. But my parents and my uncle are not allowing me to enter this career. As they said, a sales job is stressful and you don't have a future in sales and marketing. Moreover, they wanted me to enter coding-related domains. so Sid tell me how would you handle this situation if you were in my place .
Thank you for your kind words! I appreciate your passion for sales and marketing. It can be challenging when family members have different expectations for your career, but it’s essential to follow your interests. If I were in your place, I would have an open conversation with your parents and uncle about your passion for sales and marketing. Share your thoughts on the opportunities in that field and how your communication skills can be a great asset. You could also suggest exploring internships or part-time roles to show them the potential and benefits of a career in sales. Ultimately, it's important to choose a path that excites you and aligns with your goals. Remember, it’s your career, and you should pursue what makes you happy! Wishing you the best for your future endeavors!
Hey Sid, Thanks for the wonderful information. It really helps. I have a query which is very generic while building the resume, could I olease ask for a 7 to 8 years experienced candidate which is preferred single page resume or a multi page??
Great question! For candidates with 7 to 8 years of experience, a two-page resume is generally preferred. This allows you to highlight your skills, accomplishments, and relevant experiences effectively without cramming everything into one page. Just ensure that the content is concise and relevant.
Due to economic condition I worked in logistics after a year I will to work in my core department but my resume get rejected every time even due to experience need. Even thought I clear interview I am rejected for some more reasons... How to show my need of that particularl job to ... company.
I understand how challenging that can be. When applying for jobs in your core department, focus on highlighting transferable skills from your logistics experience that are relevant to the new role. In your cover letter, express your passion for the field and explain how your diverse background brings unique value. Additionally, consider networking with professionals in your desired industry to gain insights and potential referrals. Keep pushing forward; persistence is key!
Thank you for your feedback! For an international resume format, it’s common to include a photo in the UAE. I recommend keeping your resume clear and professional. You can find various templates online that fit the requirements. Good luck!
To prepare a resume as a fresher, focus on highlighting your education, relevant projects, internships, and any skills you’ve developed during your studies. Start with a clear objective statement, followed by your academic qualifications and any certifications. Include sections for technical skills and soft skills that align with the job you’re applying for. Don’t forget to mention any extracurricular activities that demonstrate leadership or teamwork. Keep it concise and tailored to the job description. I've already posted videos related to this topic; feel free to check them out!
Hi sidd! One question. If i should not add my photo on my resume, why should i update my LinkedIn with my profile photo. LinkedIn also professional platform. Why should i show my photo to unknown professional person?
Great question! The reason for adding a photo on LinkedIn is that it's a professional networking platform, and a profile picture helps to build trust and make your profile more personal and approachable. It’s often the first impression potential employers, recruiters, or business connections will have of you, and having a photo adds authenticity to your profile. On the other hand, resumes are generally more formal documents where the focus is on your skills, experience, and qualifications. In many cases, adding a photo on a resume could lead to unconscious bias during the hiring process. That’s why many experts recommend leaving it out. The key difference is that LinkedIn is a platform meant for networking and personal branding, while a resume is a more formal document meant to showcase your professional qualifications. Keep both updated, but the approach is different based on the platform's purpose!
Thanks for reaching out! For a talent acquisition specialist, it’s beneficial to focus on courses and technologies related to recruitment and HR tech. Familiarize yourself with tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Bullhorn, and Workday. Learning Excel or data visualization tools like Power BI can help analyze hiring metrics. Consider certifications like SHRM-CP or HRCI for advanced HR skills. Additionally, courses on behavioral interviewing and candidate sourcing can improve your hiring techniques. Building knowledge in employer branding and using social media for recruitment can also set you apart. Platforms like LinkedIn Learning and Udemy offer great resources for this. Best of luck!
Hi! Congrats on completing your studies! In your resume, make sure to include your education, skills, any internships or projects, and contact information. I've also created a video on this topic, so be sure to check it out for more tips. Thank you!
It's great to hear about your ambition! Becoming a successful businessman requires a mix of passion, hard work, and constant learning. Start by identifying your interests, building relevant skills, and gaining experience in the field you want to pursue. Networking with others, reading business books, and staying updated on market trends can also be very helpful. Keep pushing forward, and don't be afraid to take calculated risks. Wishing you all the best on your entrepreneurial journey!
Hi sir, I'm a BCA student from a government college and I'm seeking guidance on securing an internship. Could you please provide me with some advice on how to get started and what opportunities are available? have no idea 😢
Hi! It’s great that you’re looking for internship opportunities as a BCA student. Start by updating your resume and LinkedIn profile to showcase your skills and any relevant projects. You can explore internships on platforms like Internshala, LinkedIn, or through your college’s placement cell. Networking with professionals in your field can also open doors, so don’t hesitate to reach out for advice or opportunities. Stay proactive, and you'll find a suitable internship soon!
It’s a good question! While mentioning your nationality can be important for some positions, especially in foreign applications, it’s not always mandatory. It often depends on the specific job requirements and the company’s policies. Always check the application guidelines; if it’s not requested, you can choose to leave it out.
Hi mr. @sidd , thank you for your insights, well I'm a diploma holder but i have 5 yrs of exp in bankig sector, but withiut having a degree i couldn't get another job, whats your point on this....and i need to tackle this
Hi! Thank you for sharing your experience. While having a degree can be important, your 5 years of experience in the banking sector is valuable. Focus on highlighting your skills and achievements on your resume. Consider exploring certification programs that can enhance your qualifications and make you more competitive. Keep pushing forward!
Hey sid, I have a doubt in putting a linkedin link. Now a day, ATS is managing the application in bigger firms, will the ATS consider the linkedin link as a threat?
Great question! Generally, including your LinkedIn link in your resume is a good idea, as it allows recruiters to view your professional profile and network. Most ATS systems do not consider it a threat; they typically just scan the link as text. Just ensure that your LinkedIn profile is up-to-date and matches the information on your resume. This way, it can enhance your application rather than hinder it!
Game development can be a challenging field, but it’s also incredibly rewarding for those who are passionate about it. The gaming industry is growing rapidly, and there are many opportunities for creative and skilled developers. If it's your dream job, pursue it! Focus on building your skills, creating projects, and connecting with others in the industry. Follow your passion, and the right opportunities will come!
Hai sir .. i completed my b.e civil granduate in 2020 ...i have been preparing upsc exam for 4 years ..currently i have no work experience .. should i prepare my resume lyk a fresher sir ?? Give me some insights sir
Hello, buddy! It’s great to hear about your dedication to preparing for the UPSC exam. Since you graduated in 2020 and have been focused on your studies, you can certainly frame your resume like a fresher. Highlight your educational qualifications, any relevant projects or coursework related to civil engineering, and any skills you've developed during your preparation. If you have participated in any workshops, seminars, or volunteer activities, be sure to include those as well. Tailoring your resume to showcase your strengths and potential will help you stand out. Best of luck with your journey!
Hi sir i love your videos and content i have one doubt am doing Business administration in india but nowadays my interest is towards ai and tech so it possible to do conputer science field or dgree in US or should i do MBA .
Thank you for your kind words! It’s great to hear that you’re exploring your interests in AI and technology. Transitioning from Business Administration to Computer Science is definitely possible, especially if you pursue a degree in the U.S. Many universities offer programs for students from diverse backgrounds. Alternatively, an MBA with a focus on technology or AI can also be valuable. It really depends on your career goals and interests. Consider what excites you most and where you see yourself in the future!
To craft a strong resume for switching roles, focus on highlighting transferable skills from your current job that are relevant to the new position. Tailor your resume to the job description by using keywords and emphasizing accomplishments that showcase your abilities. Start with a strong summary that outlines your career goals and why you’re interested in the new role. Be sure to include any relevant training or upskilling you've done. Good luck with your transition!

As a fresher, you can focus on highlighting your education, any relevant projects, internships, and technical skills you've acquired during your studies. Include any certifications or workshops that relate to the position you're applying for. Also, consider adding soft skills like teamwork and communication, as well as any extracurricular activities that demonstrate your initiative and leadership. Tailor your resume to align with the job description, and you’ll be on the right track! Good luck!
Thanks for the thumbs up! As for the declaration on your resume, it should affirm that the information provided is true to the best of your knowledge. If you feel it's outdated or not relevant, you can revise it to better reflect your current situation. Just keep it simple and straightforward!
Thanks for your request! I’ll try to create a video on how to apply for jobs in the USA and share some steps to help guide you through the process in the future. Stay tuned!
Thank you for bringing this up! You're right, in some regions like the Gulf countries, it's a common practice to include a photo on the resume, as local hiring preferences can vary. However, my advice about avoiding photos is generally based on modern global hiring trends, especially where AI-based systems are involved, to ensure fairness and reduce bias. Always consider the local job market requirements, but be mindful of sharing personal information.
It’s generally not necessary to include your passport number on your resume. Focus on highlighting your skills, experience, and qualifications. If a job specifically requires it, you can provide it during the application process or in a separate document.

Hi Sidd, Please share a resume do & don't dos which is make for international job applies in marketing field
Hi sir great video , I am fresher I learned a lot from this video in resume building.
I have small query I need more details abt experience or project done how to frame those in resume as a fresher it will needed.
Hello sir,
I was experiencing office politics and, despite the market situation, I resigned.
Good luck!
Sir Can you please explain about how the fresher resumes should be.
Good luck!

Stay vigilant!
which are thing you have ridden from resume but in UAE every HR filter as per nationality, Gender, Marital status ☺
Sure sir , thanks for your reply
I am waiting for your next arrival in DUBAI

Hi Sidd,
How to share my resume to check
Tnq for replay I will try and try and try until I get my core field....
Thanks for asking this question brother, I'm also facing the same issue when I change my carrier from Account to HR and thanks for your time sid.❤
Thank u sir, But in UAE photo is required.. please let us know international resume format..
Thank you for your feedback! For an international resume format, it’s common to include a photo in the UAE. I recommend keeping your resume clear and professional. You can find various templates online that fit the requirements. Good luck!
How to prepare resume for freshers sir?
To prepare a resume as a fresher, focus on highlighting your education, relevant projects, internships, and any skills you’ve developed during your studies. Start with a clear objective statement, followed by your academic qualifications and any certifications. Include sections for technical skills and soft skills that align with the job you’re applying for. Don’t forget to mention any extracurricular activities that demonstrate leadership or teamwork. Keep it concise and tailored to the job description. I've already posted videos related to this topic; feel free to check them out!
@siddahmed thank you sid sir ✨
@siddahmed Noted. Thank you for replying back.
Hi Sir can you guide a course or technologies to upgrade for Talent Acquisition specialist

5:37 Sir, I have doubt which is mentioning of Nationality. For Applying a post in Foreign is it Mandatory to mention the candidate's nationality.
It’s a good question! While mentioning your nationality can be important for some positions, especially in foreign applications, it’s not always mandatory. It often depends on the specific job requirements and the company’s policies. Always check the application guidelines; if it’s not requested, you can choose to leave it out.

Hey sidd i have one doubt in gulf country like dubai abudhabi they most of resume required photo attached
