    I have a suggestion for storing the cultured-worm. Freeze them in ice tray. That way you can mass produce and store them in all equal-size ice cube. You can designate the number of cube to feed per container of fish. Ice-cube is light and will float on the surface of the fish container so you don't have to stand around and watch them.

    Dexter, we recently found you online and we love your videos, so wholesome for us as a family to watch. I love the spirituality you bring into your videos and glory to God you express. You are a very neat person. Your videos help so many people by giving glory to God and showing your hard times and your good times. Life is not always easy and being real with the world about your struggles and still giving thanks to God shows great humility. Having struggles and still fighting to continue is also a big testimony for everyone. I show my children the struggles and success. It teaches perseverance. Good job Dexter!!! We are also just starting to breed Koi, Oranda, and ranchu fish. I am learning so much from you! I have a question. Your Orandas and Ranchu fish are very beautiful and REALLY large. They are now very popular here. Have you ever considered exporting? I loved a very white calico Ranchu you had on a video. I have not seen that here ever! I would love to have some!!! also your Oranda fish are huge!!! People would pay very well for those here… $300 to $600 easily, per fish. I have seen some even at $1500! If you had a website with them advertised I bet you can have your own line and sell them. Check out the website if kingkoi and others selling fancy goldfish. The fish can be shipped to the United States. You should pursuit this. I see your work and believe this can be another income for you and your family :-). God bless you!

    Hi, goldfish, like all carpfish, do not have a stomach and that is the problem. The acids in the stomach would kill the tubifex. So cichlids, salmonids, aso. have no problems, if feeding not to much.

    Don't use plastic mesh, it will add microplastics into the worms and your fish. Just tie a bunch of dried grass or branches together.

    I’m not sure feeding fish something not indigenous special food tropical fish and also ugly cat fish it’s not advisable feed them human food likes chicken once taste blood behavior very bad tense wild like piranhas fish develop strong jaws not good idea thank you from California

    • @majorbruster5916
      @majorbruster5916 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You need not worry. Worms such as tubifex are indigenous to most parts of the world, and many species of fishes feed on them. Feeding kitchen scraps to the worms is not a problem. Most of these are cooked vegetables, and there is very little meat involved. Besides, there is no blood in cooked chicken, as the carcasses are drained of blood during the killing process. So your fears are unfounded.
      Tubifex worms don't eat the solid food provided to them. They eat bacteria that break down the foods provided for the worms. In the wild, tubifex worms eat mud and digest the bacteria that live in the mud. Fishes that gather the tubifex from the bottom of lakes and rivers have to ingest a lot of mud with the worms. There is no evidence that feeding "human" foods to fish changes their behaviour (for the worse), and to believe such unfounded stories without a shred of evidence, one must be gullible in the extreme. This is the storyline of low budget horror movies and does not have a place in serious fish husbandry.
