Toph is very reluctant to allow anyone else to touch her feet, probably because insensitive handling there would make her deaf to other vibrations and thereby render her helpless (and because they are far more sensitive than other people's feet).
Zuko’s entire journey screams Willpower, throughout everything he pushes forward. Even in the impossible task of capturing the Avatar who hasn’t been seen in 100 years.
I certainly think that he starts as rage with a hint of will, but during Zuko Alone he truly becomes will, then has a tinge of being hope after becoming Fire Lord as a symbol of a new age for all nations
He Is More hope than rage...yes I understand he is ragefull and angry but his hope to return to his father, his hope to change the fire nation and his his hope for the acceptance of the avatar and the entire world define Zuko (quite noticeable the idea that a blue lanterns greatest power is to overpower a green lantern
I would say he is still in rage post the last air bender. But not like rage like atrocitius was or how he was. But more so righteous anger to make right his wrongs
@@drevnork1 To be a red lantern you don't need to be defined by rage, only overwhelmed and driven by it. Zuko more than qualifies (pre redemption) for the red lanterns. Just as it happened to Guy Gardner during the Blackest Night, when Kyle is downed by the black lanterns: huge will completely overwhelmed by rage.
Cabbage man is willpower, this man has set out to sell cabbages across the world, and each time has the avatar somehow destroy each of his cabbage stands, most people would've given up a looooong time ago, yet he persists
Dragon Lord You could also argue rage or hope. He is enraged at the avatar for constantly destroying his cabbage stand, and you could also argue hope because he is constantly hoping that the Avatar won’t destroy his stand this time. Just saying.
Even though her time in Team Avatar was comparatively brief, I still consider Suki a member deserving of recognition. If I were to peg which power ring would be best for her, I think it would either be love or compassion. As for Zuko, my first thought was him being a Green Lantern because of all the strife he overcame, but the arguments for why he would be a Red Lantern do make some sense.
I'd actually have to contend this point. Orange Lanterns have the desire to take EVERYTHING, down to an individual's soul, not even Ozai is THAT ambitious. He definitely meets the requirements for a Yellow Lantern, just the thought of facing him gets Aang, the most overtly powerful bender in the world, scared .
I'd say the compassion lantern core since it is made of beings with no compassion. Ozai was fully willing to burn down the Earth Kingdom and burned half his son's face.
Scott Hadden I think it would be orange because just look at how he came to power, he told his Father to revoke Iroh birthright cause he lost his son and when that didn’t work he makes his wife poison him and lie saying his father dying wish was for him to be Fire lord
You can make the argument of Zuko that he is a main member because Team Avatar needs to consist of a waterbender Katara, an earthbender Toph ,a firebender Zuko, An airbender Aang and a nonbender Sokka having two nonbenders is kinda redundant..
No one should have compassion. The violet corps requirements are different. They go after criminals. The ring itself is forcing you to relive your crimes over and over . Also the love corps is as well . You become a pink lantern when you lose someone you love or receive a heart break
Aang could also be green. The entire series lead up to killing Ozai, and Aang constantly had the willpower to hold his beliefs strong and beat the fear of losing himself if he killed Ozai
@@sparkedbox he actually made a choice, he chose to ignore what everybody was telling him including other avatars and find another way to deal with ozai. it would have been ridiculously easy to just out right kill ozai as we see at the end of the final battle but instead he searched for an alternative.
How is aang not COMPASSION Literally all seasons that is a plot point he tries to find a peaceful way to do everything literally says he learned todo just COMPASSION every other episode
I don't know I can see Iroh very easily fitting in with hope Corp because no matter what he had a cheerful demeanour and always cheered up and inspired the other characters. But I also think Will power because he says how you can draw power from within yourself (I'm coming from when he explains to Zuko about using his breath and to a degree your 'Centre' and stomach and sea of chi etc). And also how he handled himself in jail and getting crazy Jacked is sheer will power
@@dawsonheeter1234 The thing with the love lanterns is that, as it is on one of the extremes of the spectrum (like rage), the love that drives them is almost an obsession in most of the cases it isn't a sane form of love. Iroh should be white or indigo.
Not really. White Lanterns are required to be willing to kill others, or allow others to die, for the sake of preserving life. Ever since the death of his son, I don't think Iroh would be willing to kill anybody, or allow them to die, and before that he didn't really seem to place value in life, and killed because it was expected of him. He is definitely compassionate though. He's probably MORE compassionate than Katara.
Aang is easily an Indigo lantern. He's the most compassionate one in the entire series. He even goes out of his way to figure out a way to not kill the Fatherlord! Dude loves and cherishes all life, and even chastises his past lives for having killed people in the past. I think Sokka is Hope because he embodies hope in it's entirety. Throughout the entire series he's the one lifting spirits and pushing people to keep going. Sure he can be a downer some times, but that's even what the blues do. They doubt themselves but always find their hope in the end. Which is Sokka to a tee. Zuko is a Green Lantern. In the beginning he's driven by rage and hatred for himself, his father, and Aang, but overall he's pushed by his own willpower and desire to accomplish his own goals. His whole story arc is about redemption and not having to rely oh his anger to get him through life. Katara is Violet. She's all about love. That's literally her thing. She's not only the love interest, but she's the motherly figure. She goes out of her way to help out villages when they need it. (The painted Lady) and is always looking after the team. She's the one that they all look up to. She cares about them all, and it's her love for her friends that drive her and push her to be the best that she can so she can protect them. Toph is easily a Green. She's tough and strong. She's fearless and determined. She's stubborn and isn't afraid to tell people what's on her mind. She's the literal definition of what the ring goes by when looking for a host. (If we're only assigning one color to each member, my secondary for Toph would be yellow. She's tough but has great fear when she can't see. We see this several times in the series. (When on the ice bridge in the serpents pass, when being attacked by the bees in the desert and when on the airships when she couldn't see the ground or anything around her.) She also has the power to overcome her fear, and work with what she has, and isn't afraid to instill fear in other people when fighting them.) Azula is a Yellow. Hands down top pick is yellow. She has the fear of not being good enough for her father, or being seen as inferior. She also loves employing fear tactics when she fights her opponents. We see her fears come out when their on Ember Island and she can't blend in with the other teens. She hates that she can't be the best and so she uses her fear to instill fear in others and burns down the other teens' house. Quick note on side characters: Iroh is Hope Ozai is Rage Bumi is Will Paku is Will Jeong Jeong is Will Piandao is Will Ty Lee is Hope Mai is either Fear or Love. (She's originally in it just for fun, and loves instilling fear in others. She thinks it's fun. But ultimately in the end is driven by her love for Zuko. "I love Zuko more than I fear you!" Suki is Will Roku is WIll Appa is Love Momo is Fear
Then again he tell Zuko about the fire in his breath and that the true power comes from within which is probably the most will power thing ive heard but he says it in a hopeful context to help Zuko stay alive in the North
Naruto: Will power Nine Tailed Naruto:Rage Kakashi: Will power Sakura: Compassion Sasuke: Rage Neji : Will power Kiba: Love Choji:Will power Ino:Love Shino:Will power Orochimaru: Fear Tsunade: Fear Shikamaru: Will power Anyone agreess or disagrees
Hi, my name is Aang and I am the Avatar but something about me that makes me different: I also wield a weird alien power ring that enables me to channel my emotions into constructs. I am the first Hope Lantern Avatar.
Personally, I think Zuko would also fit in the Green Lanterns. Hell, one of the few positive things Sokka said about him before he was their friend was his inability to give up. Though Ultraviolet is also a contender since he’s never not beating himself up over something. Now, if you end up doing one for the villains, I think Azula is a no brainer for the Sinestro Corps. One could also argue Indigo because of her lack of compassion, though she did show a small bit for Ty Lee in Ember Island and you need to either have absolutely none or overwhelming amounts.
Aang could definitely be a White or a Blue Lantern, but he could also be an Ultraviolet Lantern because the shame of being frozen for 100 years while the Fire Nation raged throughout the world is still there to some degree. Sure he gets over it by the end of the series, but it is called back to multiple times. He's also a good candidate for the Violet Lanterns too because of his Love for Katara, even willing to sacrifice going into the Avatar State to rescue her. For Katara, I do believe a mix of Indigo and Violet could work, but also the Red Lantern Corps. as well, because underneath the motherly persona lies a traumatized little girl who lost her mother and had a desire for revenge she suppressed for years. She even got to mee Yon Ra, the man who did the deed, and nearly killed him, but she manages to control herself and stops only just short of doing that. Now, even though she could let go of her Rage then, she says that she still can't forgive the man for what he did, meaning the Rage really isn't gone from her mind. For Zuko, it's a mixture of Rage, Hope, Willpower, and I think Compassion and Love as well. Like with Avatar Korra's season 4 journey, Zuko suffered so much throughout the show, which fueled his Rage, but he still held on to Hope. Remember the white blade Iroh gave him when he was a kid? It said "never give up without a fight", and that screams Willpower and Hope big time. But I digress, as the point I'm trying to make is that Zuko's suffering opens his eyes to what the rest of the world is like, seeing people angry and afraid of Firebenders, the ravages of war, and the culture of other nations, allowing his Compassion for other people to grow. I believe it was Compassion and Willpower that allowed him to stand up to Ozai on the Day of Black Sun. Though Love rarely factors in, I think his Love for his uncle Iroh is pretty strong as he chooses to stand with the Avatar to reunite with the one man who treated him like a father should. As for Sokka, I think Willpower and Love could work. He may not be a Waterbender, but like most Water Tribesmen, he has a strong sense of community and therefore Love. He even admits that so much time had passed that he can't even remember his mother's face, instead leaning on Katara to look out for him, and though they squabble a lot, there's no denying Love is there. After all, they're family. And for Toph, like any Earthbender, she's incredibly stubborn, which if you think about it, is a Willpower trait. It certainly complements her Earth Kingdom color scheme. But I do admit, Toph embracing her blindness instead of having her life defined by it certainly qualifies her for the White Lantern Corps. of Life. White eyes, white ring, and even the white flying boar of the Bei Fong family, it works! For those who count Suki as a member of this entourage, even though she only appears sparingly, I would say that she would make a great Green Lantern. She lives by a warrior code as part of the Kyoshi Warriors, much like all Green Lanterns serve the will of the Guardians, she is incredibly tenacious having survived in the worst prison in the Fire Nation, and she is also very protective of others, even people like Sokka who once made fun of her.
For Zuko, I'd rather put him in the lantern corps of willpower. I mean throughout his whole journey as a villain, he'd stop at nothing to regain his honour, even when his body was absolutely trashed. And when he found his new path on team avatar, he'd go through trials to make sure that he taught Aang how to fire firebend in order to stop the war and even jumped into a bolt of lightning to save Katara
One might say zuko belongs in rage lantern core which is obvious through out the beginning of the series but i think he was more fueled by will to capture the avatar for his father and to regain honor by any means possible, he can also be labled as hope because he helped team avatar escape azula and even confornts his own father and chooses to restore balance to world alongside aang.
Aang: Indigo Katara: Blue Sokka: Green Toph: Green Suki: Star Sapphires Zuko: Green Korra: Green Asami: Star Sapphires Mako: Green Bolin: Blue Tenzin: Indigo Jinora: Blue
Asami and Suki are green lanterns, just because they are in love, doesn't mean that's their drive. Both of them overcome their limitations because of their will, not the love they feel. For example: Wonder Woman is chosen for the Purple Lantern Corps because all she does, she does it put of love for mankind. Suki became a warrior and fights because it's her duty, she happens to be in love with Sokka. Asami does what she does because of her will, she then falls in love with Makko and then with Korra. And Korra doesn't deserve any ring: She doesn't have a particularily strong will. She isn't compassionate. She doesn't inspire hope nor is hopeful. She is not driven by love. She doesn't instill great fear. She's not greedy. Her rage is laughable. She doesn't manipulate death nor is she dead. She doesn't enjoy life.
You know, the similarities between Zuko and Razer from the Green Lantern animated series are actually so astonishing you can’t help but raise an eyebrow.
Actually, for Zuko in season 3, I would have given him the Green Lantern of will. He gave his all just to show how much he has changed. Blue could work, but Green seems like a better fit for season 3 Zuko in my opinion
Dang, out of all the ones listed I can only agree with your assessment on 2: Katara and Sokka. Everyone else is a miss. Aang most definitely represents life, whilst Toph and Zuko both represent willpower.
while I agree with your assessment of Toph and Zuko, the specification is that the Avatar *spirit* would represent Life, while Aang as an individual would be Hope after a hundred years without the Avatar, Aang is most definitely a beacon of hope, even moreso than the Avatar normally would be
Here’s my view: Aang - Hope Zuko - Rage pre-redemption, but Willpower overall Katara - Compassion Sokka - Willpower Toph - Willpower or Life Suki - Willpower or Love Iroh - Life
“The monks used to say hope is an illusion. Maybe we should abandon hope, hope isn’t going to get us to ba sing se action will.” Not sure blue lantern is more fitting than white for Aang
Personally I'd say Aang is more of an Indigo Lantern since he allowed many people to join his side despite starting out as enemies to help them achieve their goals.
Considering the loss of his rage being a huge plot point and Iroh says that it's in direct contracts to his view of himself, so I actually think that he belongs in the Will Lantern corps considering his constant drive in whatever he's doing, whether finding the Avatar despite him not being seen for 100 years, working to build a new life with his uncle, or leaving his former life to help team Avatar after he confronts his father.
I would say Sokka would be best in the life lantern corps as, much like Spiderman, he exhibits traits from practically all the positive lantern corps. Mostly willpower (as explained), love (for his girlfriend), and compassion (as he is always most heightened when someone's in danger kinda like Kid Flash)
You can easily put zuko in rage in the beginning of the show and hope towards the end but I think the emotion he shows all throughout the show is will power He had the willpower to keep continuously track the avatar all over the world. He had the will power to fight Azula on multiple occasions even though he knew he couldn’t win, he had the will power to stand up to his father after years of abuse, and had the will power to leave his country and girlfriend to go help the avatar
Why isn't Aang in compassion? It doesn't matter what he is to the rest of the people, it's who he is as a person compassionate, even to his enemies. It's how he was raised as an air monk, to respect all life, and be understanding to it. As Avatar his compassion has always been in conflict with his duty to the world. So no, I don't know it to be true, compassion is way more obvious for Aang.
In fearful day, in raging night, With strong hearts full, our souls ignite, When all seems lost in the War of Light, Look to the stars-- For hope burns bright! The blue lantern corps is for by people that not only has great hope in their hearts (Aang qualifies) but are also capable of bringing hope to others (Aang DEFINITELY qualifies). Sure, many characters have the potential to be in more than one corps, but Aang's main trait is that he is hopefull and gives hope to all around him.
@@JaviusSama He gave people hope at the beginning of the series, but it evolved into compassion when he felt more comfortable in the role of the Avatar. The only reason he decided to accept the role at the end of the day, was because of all the suffering the fire nation caused on not only the people of the free nation's, but the spirit world as well. By feeling empathy for those suffering, the role of Avatar become less of reluctance to Aang, and more of duty to help others. Also he inspired hope to the few people in his entourage, to the rest of the world, he was nothing but a ghost, a dream long forgotten after 100 years until they actually met him, which wasn't many people.
Compassion comes from a place of understanding, the idea that you can understand and empathise with another person, even though you fundamentally disagree with their ideas and ideals. There are moments which show Aang isn't always capable of empathising with people, for example, General Fong, who tries to get Aang to end the war early by forcefully triggering the Avatar State by "killing" all his friends, which one Aang calms down enough to return to normal, he doesn't even consider this as a viable plan, then we obviously have Fire Lord Ozai, who Aang can't empathise with, for obvious reasons, and Long Feng, for his plan to maintain peace in Ba Sing Se by committing Stalin-era abduction and brainwashing of anybody who even discusses the war.
Azula definitely would be in fear, even though at the end she shows great anger and hatred for her enemies. She literally became the new Fire Lord when Ozai became the Phoenix King.
My ideas for the fire girl trio Azula:red she absolutely full of rage especially in the final episodes but yellow can also fit as she seems to love to rule by fear. Mai:even though she is quite stoic I think green fits her especially if you look at her confrontation with Azula. Ty lee:she is probably the hardest to figure out but leaning towards indigo because she's perhaps the friendliest character in the show and stops Azula from harming Mai.
You forgot Momo and Appa?!? Outside of that this is a great video. I would put Toph in the Green Lantern corps willpower to never give up, not quite white lantern material in my eyes. Other than that, when I saw the video title, I had thought all of the others in the exact same corps as you. Cool idea my friend.
I'm going to have to contend Toph's status, this is entirely due to the criteria that each corps has. Yellow lanterns are required to be capable of inspiring great levels of fear, which is something Toph just doesn't do. Not even in LOK when she's older, more powerful and head of security for Republic City, where she'd be at her most intimidating. She also doesn't qualify as a White Lantern either, they're entire existence is to protect life, whether good or evil, by any means necessary, including killing people or allowing people to die, if that would prevent the deaths of others. Toph has never considered killing anybody, even Yakone, who definitely warranted killing, due to his skill as a Bloodbender and his lax attitude towards murder. Hence, she would be the best fit for the Green lanterns, has the willpower to go out into the world in spite of her impediment, is able to develop a new form of bending, becomes a good head of security for what is effectively the breeding ground of world culture. So, yeah.
In my opinion, you got it backwards. But you are absolutely right they are the two best characters in the show... well, if you don't count Momo... LOL.
Bumi is (perhaps) the strongest, but Toph is the best, she took earth bending far beyond what anyone thought possible until then while being far younger than Bumi.
The Reason Zuko's father made him catch the Avatar specifically was because the Avatar had been dead for 100 years and it was unlikely for Zuko to ever find him again
She's not technically part of the team for most of the series, only traveling with the group near the end of the last season and only being a minor part of the team during that time
@@edulysse7482 My point was that she wasn't truly part of the team until the end, nor did she interact with or teach Aang much at all, she's basically the most important side character
Continued Azula- fear Mei- love Ty Lee- love Suki- hope or love Bumi- life Cabbage Man- rage Iroh- life Ozai- compassion Long Fang- will The Boulder- rage, later on hope or will Roku- life Packu- hard to pick but rage Yue- love or life Zhao- rage Jeong Jeong- will Combustion Man- avarice or will Hei Bei- (hope I spelled that right, anyway the panda spirit) rage then life Swamp guy- life Jet- rage
I can also see him as Will or Hope... Will because of how he always says that power comes from within And hope because of his ridiculously positive demeanour
I thought that Katara was a good candidate for hope as she inspired the Earth Kingdom to fight back and she believed that the avatar would return to save the day
I don’t see Katara as an Indigo lantern. I don’t see her actions being driven by compassion. I see her actions all driven by love, including with Zuko. They were driven by love for her fellow humans. Zuko is willpower. End of story. His will to survive. His will to earn back his honor. His will to oppose his father. Etc.
I have a suggestion for a Lantern video in the future, even if it may sound really silly. What about one on every person who has been in Suicide Squad. Now, granted, they may all appear to give off that they belong in Fear, Rage, Avarice or Death at times, but I often feel when watching any of the Suicide Squad moves, animated or otherwise, that they are far more than just in it for self preservation or wanting to get out quicker. Deadshot is an example of that because of his daughter. Just a suggestion.
Aang is easily Hope but during the Avatar state he would probably be a White Lantern. Katara is easily Compassion or Love no questions asked. Zhukov at the beginning is Rage but near the end he could either be Life or Hope, with the way they describe Zukos new fire bending as “a source of life” could be argued for the Corp, he is actually pretty similar to Sinestro but with Rage. Sokka is Willpower enough said. Tough is either Fear, Willpower, or Life for obvious reasons.
Zuko absolutely should be Green. I mean, he literally had a dagger inscribed with "Never Give Up Without A Fight," but putting that aside, let's pull out his Willpower Receipts: >Starts out the series tracking someone the rest of the world thinks is dead, and *actually succeds in being on-site when said person is found 100 years later.* >Chased the gang for just about 2 straight seasons, enduring storms, rivals capturing his quarry, an assassination attempt, nearly drowning, nearly freezing to death, etc. >If there was a secure place, Zuko managed to infiltrate it just by sheer grit: Western Air Temple, Pouhai Stronghold, Northern Water Tribe, Lake Laogai, Western Air Temple Again, and the Boiling Rock. >When he loses the rage that used to power his fire bending, his first instinct is to try and learn how to fire bending from a civilization thought to be long gone, and he fucking *succeeds.* >Has literally gone through three seasons worth of turmoil and suffering to become his nation's true leader. Straight up, if the GLC existed in the world of Avatar, Zuko would be the equivalent of Hal freaking Jordan.
Toph should be in the will lantern core because she had to push through the boundaries of being blind and she not only did that but in the end her "disability" helped her a great deal by giving her seismic sense and let her figure out how to metal bend (also it would really fit her outfit)
Ok. I'm going to run through my list. Let's get the ones that I'm seeing being argued most out of the way. Zuko: Will. To me, there is no arguing this one. Rage seems like a good fit on the surface, but it's a mindless emotion. We've seen Zuko in many stages throughout the series, but never would I say mindless. Yes, there was rage. But more so there was drive. The will to keep going on an impossible task: find the lost avatar. When he realized that he didn't want his fathers love, and decided to work with the avatar, he went to face his father, the being that I would argue that he was afraid of for the better part of his life, and finally managed to redirect lightning. Then he went ahead, found the avatar, despite knowing how unlikely it would be that they not attack him on the spot, and helped defeat Ozai. Zuko is a green lantern to me. Iroh: How is this an argument? The man is the embodiment of compassion throughout the series. Throughout both series. Seriously? Azula: Tricky. There's not a manipulation corps. An argument could be made for greed, but I have to say fear. She rules over even her FRIEND GROUP by exploiting their greatest fears and desires. Beach day? SHE BURNED THE VOLLEYBALL TO INSTILL FEAR IN HER OPPONENTS! Aang: Hope Katara: Compassion, I'll agree with. Sokka: Will. That guy's got every reason to quit, and almost does at one point. Instead he learns to use a sword. In the fire nation. Toph: This one's trickier for me than azula. It's actually between will and fear. And i'm more inclined towards will. She's blind, and she doesn't let that stop her. She learns to see using earthbending, she becomes an earthbending champion, she creates metalbending, and when given an impossible choice: stop wong shi tong's tower from sinking to save her friends, or stop the sandbenders from taking aapa, she chooses the option that wouldn't instill fear, while uttering 3 words that break my heart to this day. "I'm sorry, aapa." But I also think that every member of team Avatar can fit into the green lantern corps for one reason: The series finale. aang was determined to find a non-lethal way to stop Ozai and he did. But the entire team faced the fire nation, when their power would be astronomically higher. They did it with an army at their backs, yes. But they did it, nonetheless.
Do more episodes about Avatar and it is crazy because I subbed to you for more dc (Batman) content so please do more Avatar and other popular cartoons/anime
I have a few ideas for which characters you should do for a video of which lantern corps they should be in: Attack on Titan (Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Levi) My Hero Academia (Izuku, Todoroki, Ochako, Katsuki, All Might, Aizawa) RWBY (Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Yang)
I would also argue that Zuko's ring should be one the green one of Willpower. Why? To quote Zuko: "I don't need luck though, I don't want it. I have always had to struggle and fight and that's made me strong. It's made me who I am." And this is true. Zuko had to struggle all of his life and that struggle is what defined him as a person. Now of course, everyone in team avatar struggled in their life, but Zuko's struggles were the biggest when comparing to the others in team avatar, not when it comes to scale of course, since he doesn't try to save the world. But philosophically speaking, it is. While he isn't blind like Toph, she still had team avatar to be at her side. She had friends. Zuko was always alone and he was constantly hated or rejected by those around him: His father, his sister, the villagers he saved in the earth kingdom and team avatar until half of season 3. Even still he still fought through and he never gave up. Despite this however, he doesn't belong to the Hope lantern core. He isn't inspired by hope or luck and knows only he can make his life better and he managed to do so, which is simply pure willpower.
"Toph is blind"
*doesn't use clip of Toph waving her hand in front of her face*
That scene never gets old.
Thanks for all the likes!
Evil
Toph is very reluctant to allow anyone else to touch her feet, probably because insensitive handling there would make her deaf to other vibrations and thereby render her helpless (and because they are far more sensitive than other people's feet).
"that's what it'll sound like when one of you spots it."
Zuko’s entire journey screams Willpower, throughout everything he pushes forward. Even in the impossible task of capturing the Avatar who hasn’t been seen in 100 years.
Izbiski Gaming Exactly what I was thinking
I was thinking life
I certainly think that he starts as rage with a hint of will, but during Zuko Alone he truly becomes will, then has a tinge of being hope after becoming Fire Lord as a symbol of a new age for all nations
Izbiski Gaming EXACTLYYY
I was going to say the same thing, but you got in first. Will is the perfect fit for Zuko
AVATAR spirit itself: Life
Aang himself: Hope
Yeah that makes more sense
I cant agree more.
Shouldn't Aang you know being an air nomad be stuck as an Indigo lantern?
Nah Aang is compassion Literally a plot point in every season
I thought Rava ( or however the spirit's name was spelled) was the spirit of peace (as opposed to Vatu who was the spirit of chaos, not death)
Zuko: Red pre-redemption, but Green overall, especially after redemption.
@@Kuma_Kares I agree, but rage does not define Zuko, rage does nos move him along

The Boulder is conflicted by this use of an innuendo.
I would love to see a part two of this with other avatar characters (suki, ihro, jet, cabbage man) that would be nice
Cabbage Man!
Music Fang 007 Tea Lover 6 don’t forget about Ozai’s angles (Azula, Mai, and Ty Lee)
No, cabbage man weilds ALL the lantern Corp. He's right up thefe with the Shopkeep from RWBY
Nathaniel Grindstaff red lantern Zuko would be the most powerful character outside of the avatar
Pre original fire bending masters, yeah he would definitely be a red lantern. After that episode, green or blue.
Ozai definitely fits the requirement for the orange lantern corps. His whole driving force is to take all of the nations for himself.
Isn't there only one orange lantern since he's not willing to share his power with anyone?
Why is suki not here
She was a part of team avatar for those 9 episodes
I mean she's not exactly a core member though she was kind of in and out she was with team avatar at some moment but most of the time she wasn't
You can make the argument of Zuko that he is a main member because Team Avatar needs to consist of a waterbender Katara, an earthbender Toph ,a firebender Zuko, An airbender Aang and a nonbender Sokka having two nonbenders is kinda redundant..
Also it was just as much as Aangs story as it was Zuko's it heavily focused on both Aang and Zuko's Journey so he is kinda is a main member..
Lets just say he said team avatar but didn’t include the entire team avatar
Yeah idk why she isnt there
Zuko: hope and anger
Aang: hope
Avatar state: Life
Katarra: Love and compassion
Sokka: Will power
Toph: Will power
Appa: Will power
Momo: Will power
@KVAcedo27 Momo is definitely Avarice, let's be honest here.
What about Suki?
Aang is COMPASSION he tells the watcher every other episode and is a plot point every season
@@SpiderJack99 I'd put Suki as will.
I honestly think aang could be a white lantern
Nick Fishman nah. That ain’t the same
Nick Fishman yeah......
But in the end he had turtle island magic and didn’t have to make a decision
@@sparkedbox he actually made a choice, he chose to ignore what everybody was telling him including other avatars and find another way to deal with ozai. it would have been ridiculously easy to just out right kill ozai as we see at the end of the final battle but instead he searched for an alternative.
How is aang not COMPASSION Literally all seasons that is a plot point he tries to find a peaceful way to do everything literally says he learned todo just COMPASSION every other episode
I mean I would argue that will power is Zuko's dominant emotion even back when he was an angry idiot he was focused on his goal more than anything
When he was an angry idiot

Kind of disappointed that he didn’t think about Iroh’s lantern corp but I will say that if he was, he would probably be in the white lantern corp
Shippingwars1 I feel like love would’ve worked better, but I like your idea because of his attachment to the spirit world
I don't know I can see Iroh very easily fitting in with hope Corp because no matter what he had a cheerful demeanour and always cheered up and inspired the other characters.
I'd feel either will or compassion
The Avatar is hope for sure but aang as a person i would put in compassion
He also could fit in live since he values all live but that’s mainly due to being an air nomad.
@@ucponce9010 fair point 💯💯
Thank you its Literally a plot point in every season and he says he has compassion like 90 times a season
Ye
(When on the ice bridge in the serpents pass, when being attacked by the bees in the desert and when on the airships when she couldn't see the ground or anything around her.) She also has the power to overcome her fear, and work with what she has, and isn't afraid to instill fear in other people when fighting them.)
Azula is a Yellow.
Quick note on side characters:
Iroh is Hope
Ozai is Rage
Bumi is Will
Paku is Will
Jeong Jeong is Will
Piandao is Will
Ty Lee is Hope
Mai is either Fear or Love. (She's originally in it just for fun, and loves instilling fear in others. She thinks it's fun. But ultimately in the end is driven by her love for Zuko. "I love Zuko more than I fear you!"
Suki is Will
Roku is WIll
Appa is Love
Momo is Fear
Let’s not forget the most important character
*cabbage man*
That's easy green he has enough willpower to keep making and selling he's cabbages no matter how many times they a destroyed
It's the grim and gritty spinoff that we're all afraid of. Red Lantern Cabbage Man. "No, not anymore. Not. My. Cabbages!"
Willpower. He always gets knocked down, but always gets right back up... even to the point where he sets up his own cabbage company in LoK
Either Willpower or Life
Rage or will. He got pissed so many times but he still sold cabbages to the point of owing a cabbage enterprise

haha yes!
I would love to see you go through the Lantern Corps and assign real life historical figures to each one.
I can never get enough of this channel. From one British fanatic to another.
I love the term "grabbing life by the boulders", thank you very much for that one
Aang is also the ultraviolet too because he felt shame for not being there during the 100 year war
Aang: Indigo
Katara: Blue
Sokka: Green
Toph: Green
Suki: Star Sapphires
Zuko: Green
Korra: Green
Asami: Star Sapphires
Mako: Green
Bolin: Blue
Tenzin: Indigo
Jinora: Blue
Asami and Suki are green lanterns, just because they are in love, doesn't mean that's their drive.
Both of them overcome their limitations because of their will, not the love they feel.
For example: Wonder Woman is chosen for the Purple Lantern Corps because all she does, she does it put of love for mankind.
Suki became a warrior and fights because it's her duty, she happens to be in love with Sokka.
Asami does what she does because of her will, she then falls in love with Makko and then with Korra.
And Korra doesn't deserve any ring:
She doesn't have a particularily strong will.
Zuko's character arc is so massive that he could fit into almost all of the corps.
Dang, out of all the ones listed I can only agree with your assessment on 2: Katara and Sokka. Everyone else is a miss. Aang most definitely represents life, whilst Toph and Zuko both represent willpower.
while I agree with your assessment of Toph and Zuko, the specification is that the Avatar *spirit* would represent Life, while Aang as an individual would be Hope
after a hundred years without the Avatar, Aang is most definitely a beacon of hope, even moreso than the Avatar normally would be
Here’s my view:
Aang - Hope
Zuko - Rage pre-redemption, but Willpower overall
Katara - Compassion
Sokka - Willpower
Toph - Willpower or Life
Suki - Willpower or Love
Iroh - Life
“The monks used to say hope is an illusion. Maybe we should abandon hope, hope isn’t going to get us to ba sing se action will.”
Not sure blue lantern is more fitting than white for Aang
I mean, he was going through a really rough time then
Even Saint Walker lost his hope before
Definitely would love a follow-up to this for more secondary characters, or characters from Legend of Korra.
Personally I'd say Aang is more of an Indigo Lantern since he allowed many people to join his side despite starting out as enemies to help them achieve their goals.
Indigo is used on those that have no compassion
I think Zuko by the end would be Willpower. I've delt with anger issues all my life, and DAMN is it hard to control yourself!
For Toph⛰ -> Willpower
For Zuko🔥 -> same, Willpower
(not the Rage Lantern corps)
Toth belongs in the Green Lantern Corps she had the willpower to overcome all of her obstacles
Honestly besides toph, we had the exact same ideas for the Characters. Toph However.... Well idk really
And with this video this is definitely my favourite TH-cam channel
9:23 Why did Sokka's title card show up here in Toph's section of the video?
Eh, don't worry about it, shit happens. It was a good video otherwise.
Ultraviolet is actually about buried primarily emotions
I feel like uncle iroh would be a perfect addition to the love lantern corp even if it consists of mostly females
What about which lantern corps should each character in the “Arrow” series be in? It’s pretty similar to Batman if you ask me..
This show was actually good
You can easily put zuko in rage in the beginning of the show and hope towards the end but I think the emotion he shows all throughout the show is will power
He had the willpower to keep continuously track the avatar all over the world.
Thank you.
Every other episode is Aang's compassion
In fearful day, in raging night,
With strong hearts full, our souls ignite,
When all seems lost in the War of Light,
Look to the stars-- For hope burns bright!
Aang should have been life because he said "All life is sacred"
My ideas for the fire girl trio
Azula:red she absolutely full of rage especially in the final episodes but yellow can also fit as she seems to love to rule by fear.
Mai:even though she is quite stoic I think green fits her especially if you look at her confrontation with Azula.
Ty lee:she is probably the hardest to figure out but leaning towards indigo because she's perhaps the friendliest character in the show and stops Azula from harming Mai.
Azula would definitely fear

You forgot Momo and Appa?!?
Outside of that this is a great video. I would put Toph in the Green Lantern corps willpower to never give up, not quite white lantern material in my eyes.
Other than that, when I saw the video title, I had thought all of the others in the exact same corps as you. Cool idea my friend.
I'mma say this before the video...
Katara = love
Aang = hope
Zuko = Rage.
So ⅔.... Not bad I guess......
So, yeah.
Zuko the best character iroh close second
In my opinion, you got it backwards. But you are absolutely right they are the two best characters in the show... well, if you don't count Momo... LOL.
In other words Zuko is like Razer from the green lantern animated show
If Ultraviolet is shame: Than Zuko is in the ultraviolet corps. The driving force behind his character for the entire series is regaining his honor
I love this show so much my favorite character is Suko
claims toph is the greatest earthbender
Bomi: "OBJECTION!"
I mean the entire concept of Zuko story is kind of pointless
Yay he did it

Oh, maybe a video on which lantern corps team RWBY could be. Maybe also team JNPR too if you can. From yhe show RWBY
Zuko had insane levels of willpower throughout the whole series, he still tried even against what was thought to be impossible odds.
I thought that Katara was a good candidate for hope as she inspired the Earth Kingdom to fight back and she believed that the avatar would return to save the day
The best thing about this channel is there's no intro just get straight into the topic
Before watching
Angg : white or Blue
Toph = white or yellow or green
Katara = White life
Zuko = Red Rage
Sakka = Yellow or Green
Azula = Black Death
I think
aang - life
Zuko - will
Katara - love
Sokka - hope/will
Toph - rage/life
Aang is easily Hope but during the Avatar state he would probably be a White Lantern.
I mean, he literally had a dagger inscribed with "Never Give Up Without A Fight," but putting that aside, let's pull out his Willpower Receipts:
>Starts out the series tracking someone the rest of the world thinks is dead, and *actually succeds in being on-site when said person is found 100 years later.*
>Chased the gang for just about 2 straight seasons, enduring storms, rivals capturing his quarry, an assassination attempt, nearly drowning, nearly freezing to death, etc.
>If there was a secure place, Zuko managed to infiltrate it just by sheer grit: Western Air Temple, Pouhai Stronghold, Northern Water Tribe, Lake Laogai, Western Air Temple Again, and the Boiling Rock.
>When he loses the rage that used to power his fire bending, his first instinct is to try and learn how to fire bending from a civilization thought to be long gone, and he fucking *succeeds.*
>Has literally gone through three seasons worth of turmoil and suffering to become his nation's true leader.
Aang: Hope
Katara: Compassion, I'll agree with.
"I'm sorry, aapa."
But I also think that every member of team Avatar can fit into the green lantern corps for one reason: The series finale. aang was determined to find a non-lethal way to stop Ozai and he did. But the entire team faced the fire nation, when their power would be astronomically higher. They did it with an army at their backs, yes. But they did it, nonetheless.
I think Aang should have gotten the green ring, because even when everyone told him he has to kill Ozai he found another way.
Do more episodes about Avatar and it is crazy because I subbed to you for more dc (Batman) content so please do more Avatar and other popular cartoons/anime
I think Aang actually shows a lot of compassion, since he didn't want to kill Ozai at all
I have a few ideas for which characters you should do for a video of which lantern corps they should be in:
Attack on Titan (Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Levi)
My Hero Academia (Izuku, Todoroki, Ochako, Katsuki, All Might, Aizawa)
RWBY (Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Yang)
I have a perfect idea for which lantern corps Ozai and Azula should be in!
Ozai: Orange Lanterns (Avarice)
Azula: Sinestro Corps (Fear)
Ironh’s Lantern Corps should be Will, Love, and Compassion.
