Thank you kindly for covering another of my mods! The Jezail has been updated and refined a bit further with more attachments, but I’m glad that it’s gotten such popularity. That Needler rifle looks pretty great, I wasn’t able to figure out the “Super combine” effect with my take on the Needler rifle, the Desecrator, but I am in desperate need of literally anything that adds Needler-like weapons so it’s definitely one I’m gonna grab.
Fun fact: you know that the fo4 gauss rifle is ballistic because you can find explosive legendary variants. Yes, gauss were energy weapons in earlier games.
@@Pigness7 Yes and no. Two major differences: 1) there are separate bobbleheads for ballistic or energy. 2) some legendary effects are only available for ballistic (eg explosive or plasma) Other than that, yes, it's mostly trivia.
The Gauss Rifle conundrum: Should it count as ballistic, because it fires a physical projectile and would suffer from things like bullet drop and wind speed, meaning someone skilled at aiming with a traditional rifle would aim better with it than someone skilled at laser weapons? Or should it count as energy, because it relies primarily on high amounts of electricity and advanced electronic components to operate, meaning only a tech wiz could maintain it? The debate has raged for decades now
@ yeah nah that bullet ain’t droppin that thing is going multiple times the speed of sound. The possible Zappy zap is just an added bonus to that thing
I'm so happy to see energy weapon mods. They're so very rare compared to the ten thousandth model import of an AK from CoD or Battlefield or something.
Have been watching for a long time, and I’m glad to see stuff like that chemistry bench retexture! Would love to see reviews including more settlement decoration things, like the animation markers that let settlers lean against walls or look like they’re eating food items.
crazy how consistently adapting halo guns into fallout yields REALLY good results putting my Nerd Glasses on for an aside, in fallout 2 the gauss guns were NOT energy weapons and actually fell under the small guns skill, being that game's endgame ballistic weapons, stealing the throne from fo1's sniper rifle and .223 pistol. pulse weapons were their energy weapon counterparts, dethroning fo1's plasma weapons from the endgame energy weapon role
The needle rifle's capsules being a supersaturated purple and the reload hatch not having a hinge makes me think the weapon's textures and animations aren't quite finished. The missing hinge could simply be Mobius' interpretation of Zetan tech and that it's supposed to be eons more advanced than ours, but it still makes for an incomplete look.
Gauss is kinda both. It uses magnets to launch a VERY SMALL solid projectile. At least the more modern version. The 3 era rifle uses mfcs like the laser rifle, so it’s purely energy
The Alien rifle looks fun to use but those purple tubes on its side look weird, I'm guessing they're supposed to be like glowing with some kind of purple electricity instead of just being a flat purple color. Overall, still looks like a nice weapon, and I know for a fact I need more energy weapons in my load order, even if they're one of a kind.
One energy weapon mod i want to see is a proper Yk42b pulse rifle. I don't like the one version we have because the file size is too big, and its an electric laser musket, essentially. Doesn't really feel cool. Edit: For the reloading animation,i think it would be cool that a hatch in the side would open up and you put the fusion cells in there.
In my case a stand alone version and better texture version of the 40k kantreal lasgun would be cool, the load order on xbox is just 2gb and is needed to download another mod with a "modern" style laser rifle looking like AR15...
First thoughts of the Plasma Jezail was sand people from Star wars. Pop on a Raider mask and im sure theres something similar (maybe children of atom?)for the rest of the gear. And I like the chem bench, looks really good.
Knew this was going to be a good one as soon as I saw the profile of that needle rifle in the thumbnail. Crazy that one of the most fun weapons ever to hit Halo only existed for one game in that series, but at least I can use it in Fallout now.
The Plasma Jezail should've been in Fallout 4 instead of the Laser Musket, but a Laser Jezail with a Dynamo crank for infinite ammo, with alternatives for energy consumption per shot and a motor that could crank the ammo faster, it could've been a very versatile weapon that would serve any crafting savvy character all the way to end game from start to finish.
So the Jezail is actually a weapon from the Warhammer fantasy setting. It’s part of the Skaven faction and It’s called the “Warplock Jezzail” it’s pretty much a super musket infused with magic crack rocks.
The specific gauss rifle you're using is front Fallout 1 and 2 Which classify it as a ballistic weapon. The Gauss Rifle and Pistol are actually the best bullet weapons in the game. Remember: Anyone who says Gauss or Railguns are energy weapons are wrong. And you should hit them. *With a magnet.*
I wish I had the modding knowhow to make a kitbashed energy pump shotgun loosely based on the Exergis from Warframe and Ms. Travailler from Guilty Gear Xrd because I can perfectly see the laser weapon palette/models working for that kind of shape.
Isn't it possible to filter for Chemistry benches in interior cells? If that's possible, then add an exact copy of the Chemistry Bench but with the new visuals.
I think the Needle is neat, but the glowy purple bits on the weapon cooooould use a bit of work... tone down the brightness and opacity a teensy bit, they're kinda lookin like cs_source missing textures.
11:35. There’s a new crispy mod called Unbound world that really helps with this. It gets rid of precombines and replaces em with occlusion culling. Yeah it makes the game run worse and Boston goes down to 25 FPS but at least there’s no precombines. Better than Bethesda. Hire modders
I mean, the original M72 Gauss Rifle was considered small guns in the original Fallout 2, Fallout 3 was the one that made it an energy weapon.
Came here to say this. 👍

God those Ghoul ragdoll death flips will never get old.
Fun fact: you know that the fo4 gauss rifle is ballistic because you can find explosive legendary variants. Yes, gauss were energy weapons in earlier games.
there isnt energy weapon skill in fallout 4 so there really isnt a seperation from balistic and energy
@@Pigness7 Yes and no. Two major differences: 1) there are separate bobbleheads for ballistic or energy. 2) some legendary effects are only available for ballistic (eg explosive or plasma)
Other than that, yes, it's mostly trivia.
Another difference: damage resistances

I do think the purple for the needle gun is too much though. It just seems very 'off'.
@@HifuutorianI feel the same. It is just too much
@ It needs some kind of 'shading' or something. I'm not sure what the term is.
@@Hifuutorianshading and improved texture, it's just using the basic colour node from the looks of it or it could just be missing textures
the zetan gun is cool, but my brain went "is that an umbrella gun?" upon seeing the thumbnail.

The plasma jezail looks like a great counterpart to the laser musket.

Yeah they just look like missing textures. Doesn't work too well
same thought here, looks like missing textures. If the looks ever get updated I'd use it though
Thanks for covering my mod :) Hope it brings people more fun in their games :)
I'm giving myself a long break before trying a modded playthrough, but damn these videos and others are making that a challenge.

The needle gun accidentally gives the game a Saints Row vibe smh.
I know what you mean, it has that wacky look
@@Matt-md5yt And all the purple xD
The Boss approves of your comment. 👊
Awesome. Fallout 4 and its engine and even RPG aspects have such great potential for possible Warhammer 40K total conversions.
*fog horn sound effect*
1:13 Remember Reach!!
10:45 really Dak? Really? That pose?
😂
The Needle Rifle-inspired weapon, and Plasma Jezail, look great in Fallout 4. Can't wait to try 'em out!
Fallout 1, 2 and Tactics classified gauss weapons as ballistic weapons.
So the Jezail is actually a weapon from the Warhammer fantasy setting. It’s part of the Skaven faction and It’s called the “Warplock Jezzail” it’s pretty much a super musket infused with magic crack rocks.
Got distracted by that slick looking minigun at 1:32. Interested to know what mods make it look like that.
Ive seen on Nexus a picture of someone rigging the zetan power armor from 76 to bring it over to FO4
@tarrazvan6541 I’d love to see more 76 content on f4
Finally the humble Jezail getting some love.
11:30 Couldn't Base Object Swapper (BOS) be used to avoid conflicts?
Plasma jezail reminds me of Mando's rifle
The plasma gun reminds me of the ones from the first two fallouts with the blades on the tip the way they are

Why is FO4 getting such insane mods lately? Idc im all for it.
I love your channel. You come across as just a nice person. That is becoming a bit rare in this world so thank you!
One of the few modders I consistently sample from, on Xbox.
@@Jodie-G198 He also is a good teacher. He has some vids on how to mod weapons.
The Sabertooth's face mask is a bit weird but I like the armor set. Toss a helmet on that and you've got something nice
Yo that needle rifle looks great and i like all the other mods too :D
Energy weapons finally
What’s that minigun/ skin in the background @1:04?
💯 agree with the chem stations and those ones look awesome. I've been hoping fo3/fnv style would turn up on xbox.
I wish I had the modding knowhow to make a kitbashed energy pump shotgun loosely based on the Exergis from Warframe and Ms. Travailler from Guilty Gear Xrd because I can perfectly see the laser weapon palette/models working for that kind of shape.
The zetan straight up stole that gun from an elite and was like "SEE YA! YA FREAKIN AMATEUR!" And then crash land and die in earth lmao

Pretty neat
need a list of the mods that yourr using
especially those graphics ones
The needler rifle is great, but it completely bricked my game when I tried it, not sure what the crossover between the mods looks like sadly
I think the Needle is neat, but the glowy purple bits on the weapon cooooould use a bit of work... tone down the brightness and opacity a teensy bit, they're kinda lookin like cs_source missing textures.
sweet, more gun mods
why is everything in the chemistry station? ok energy weapons I get but everything eles no
Is there more interesting weapon mods?
10:43 😂
Could yall please make a minutemen lmg that’s a little un realistic but also looks like a m2 stinger or just a m2 stinger
I would loveeeee to see a guided missile mod or any power armor mods like attachments pack for Power armor just like the weapons
the purple textures look more like they are missing textures...
Fing radium rife from warhammer
We need some tacti-cool bundle
All weapons are energy weapons
Stop it. I already have over 200 plugins, you can’t keep doing this to me
the flat matte purple needles on the zetan needle rifle just ruins it completely, its so ugly lol
