That's just insane... People don't realize these are some of the most massive and expensive structures ever built on Earth. It's ridiculous the lengths to which human kind will go to get a hold of oil and gas. It's time... time for us to switch to renewable and clean resources like solar and wind to only obstacle to which is energy storage which can be solved if we spend more resources on developing batter battery technology rather than spending that money on oil, gas and coal development.
