Hi. When I frame my pictures, I like to use ones I find at secondhand stores. I like the wooden frame edges we find. I did a diamond painting of a snow leopard in Winter, about 2 feet by 3 feet or so in size. We came across a large wooden frame with a decorative outer edge about 4 inches all round. I painted the frame a medium cream colour and after hanging it up, we were amazed how the frame accentuated the colours in the picture! When I first started doing this craft, I was concerned that maybe some of the crystals would pop off when hung up, so I started to spread clear glue evenly over the pictures with a sponge brush. I let them dry on a flat surface overnight and then frame. The diamonds are just as shiny as before. Keep making videos. Love your ways of doing your craft. You are very helpful.
This is my first time doing a diamond art painting which will become a gift for my daughter. Thank you for these tips. I truly had no clear idea of how to do this without ruining it.

4kidsat147 i am wanting to frame my cat painting and it is 30 by 20 every time i do the size it is flipped flopped instead it says 20 by 30 when the numbers are turned around would it still fit my painting thanks
It maybe, but you can see it on some edges of the frame so I find it's better to use it than not because at some angles the blank canvas would be visible and look worse.

This is acrylic, I think it's my filming lights that caused most of the glare.
Tracing around the paper from the frame on the diamond art print would require only one cut, yea? Take out the guessing.
I can't find affordable frames for bigger paintings. I'm not paying 70.00 . Unreal. Maybe I'll try ikea

Can i ask what is the washi tape for do i need it?
I use it for around the canvas where the glue goes over and no diamonds are placed. Saves it picking up bits of fluff etc.

Hi Cyndie, I haven't sealed a diamond painting yet. The glass or plastic keep the diamonds in place enough for me.
