I think aggressive in the early game is not risky if you have some artillery and Cruiser, especially if your doctrine is Pan-Asian Or Axis, But allies doctrine is not recommended for Early Aggressive
Early agression versus players for beginners isn't recommend. If the player knows how to defend himself and has some artillery too then you will be in for a bad ride. Please note that there isn't pan Asian on the Clash of Nations which is the classic beginners map. Axis can go early agression but it comes with a heavy price. Your best units being motorized infantry and medium tanks are very expensive for early game and they will lose a lot of health. As the enemy starts with cheap defensive units you will lose in terms of equal resources. Even when you have won you will be weak as units will be damaged and you've put most of your resources in expensive military units instead of in you economy and a cheap defense.
Sometimes when I play as France I attack Spain, Italy and Germany all on Day 1. It works, because most players start a game then leave. Don't know why, but they do. Even if two of the three countries have players still I can use the resourses from the one that doesn't to fight the other two. Of course if all three nations have a player this doesn't work so well, unless the players are inexperienced. The Nov 11th changes also add an extra complication.

I'm not sure if I was actually given a choice of Doctrine as a new player. I'm looking forward to trying the Pan Asian doctrine some time later. Hopefully that will be option. For country choice I was given a list of about ten countries (+/-). I would like to know how many total countries are on my map (Northern Americas) with a breakdown - Real Players / NPCs (AI)
You chose the doctrine when you chose your country. The doctrine comes with a country in a package deal. You have 22 countries to choose from unless already 12 players entered the game before you. The homefront map is a 50 player map. I never counted the NPC countries but I guess those would be about the same.

What level constitutes the threshhold for not being new any longer and what is the frequency for the start of new games. (sorry for not yet being familiar with the correct terminology - a "terminology" section in the wiki would be nice)

Free gold for watching ads on mobile - nothing in the entire game is more obvious, but how is it done differently for PC players? Just curious. Completely trivial.
If you click on the unit info, then you can find the minimum production time for each unit. For example, an infantry unit level 1 needs 2 hours to produce. Level 1 infantry units only need a level 1 barracks to be produced. If you upgrade a barracks to level 2 then it still needs 2 hours to upgrade. If you would produce an infantry level 2 in a barracks level 1 then it would take double as long, 4 hours. That's why you need to upgrade your barracks to level 2. Motorized infantry level 1 is a tier 2 unit and also needs a barracks level 2 to be produced as fast as possible.
I have been playng CoW until level 50 and im stilld doing nearly everything wrong, I research Infantry and armored cars first then anti tanks and aa no matter what doctrine I am
Mostly just the early game. The early game strategies, build order, and meta (In my opinion) have changed somewhat significantly. This series is still plenty useful and relevant, maybe just a 5-10 min video reviewing the first couple of days of this match and pointing out the different options new players might want to go for would be a good video idea. Not at all necessary though.

I recommend you tell people you're at least working on it (if you intend to do it anytime soon) and make something like an hour long "ultimate doctrine guide." That compiles your other videos and updates some of the outdated information. You already have some doctrine guide videos out. Just combine them and update them with the relevant information.
@@Wuerstchenmann No you haven't, you'll always keep that blueprint. You can get more blueprints by capturing supply drops. If you want blueprints faster then you can watch adds and use the free gold to buy blueprints.
What is a good schedule for checking on troops? I cant figure out how often I should check incase I get invaded and do you have any tips for enemies doing things when you are sleeping?
Retreat your troops when you are sleeping so that you don't lose them. You can always take back lost territory but without an army it's game over. You can buy premium account, make artillery and protect them with melee units and march them on offensive fire settings.
one thing i dont like ab out this game is people leave early game making most countries AI id rather get defeated by real people which means i have to do better next game than win against AI ... they should make penalties if you abandon a game
Players that went AI get a computer screen next to their face. In the diplomacy menu they get a red dot whereas an active player has a green dot. If your neighbour hasn't constructed anything then it is safe to say the he'll go AI too.

Produce units that are faster, motorized units that cost oil mainly. Like tanks, motorized or mechanized infantry, SP units like SP AA, SP arty, SP rocket arty,... Or play speed games. Or use force march but then you lose 5% HP each hour.
The game is exactly the same weather you play on PC or on mobile. The only difference is that the mobile version is finger friendly and so the buttons are in other places. The units, game mechanics, doctrines,... they are all identical. Personally I find PC version easier to play and more player friendly.
Sure, after 51K views you are the first to complain. The guide is outdated as the starting resources have been reduced. You should watch the most recent beginners guide where I feature the Axis doctrine.

The default NPC have 1 unit in rural provinces and 3 in cities.

There are no gold add for PC players. It's a mobile feature only.

Do you attack day 1 or day 2
For beginners AI end day 1, start of day 2 as you want your unit ms nicely stacked and some artillery in support. Players you can attack at day 4.

How do I add armies because when I seem to press add army I don’t see the number increase
After clicking add army you need to select the units that you want and then confirm.
Ok thanks. So once I’ve selected 2 units or so which I want additional armies there do I just press accept and that’s it done
