1:15:42 Why do they bother with the flashbacks trying to make the male lead look like he ever cared about the female lead? This is what you would show if you wanted to have a redemption arc for him. They keep trying to show him being regretful and saying he wants to get his wife back, but then 2 minutes later he is right back to taunting her 1:26:53 and saying they are getting divorced and her affairs have nothing to do with him. And 1:27:46 “I will make you regret it”. He never bothered to apologize to her; to tell her that he chose the wrong woman and wants her back. 1:35:10 he is hurt protecting her (the usual knife of forgiveness trope, and then in the hospital he tells her he doesn’t want her to go-but he does NOT tell her he is sorry and that he never slept with the evil mistress and that he actually loves his wife. Why?! That could have been the start of a redemption arc for him! If he told her he loved her and was sorry BEFORE he found out she was wearing she might have believed him. But because he waits until afterward she will always believe that he only said it because of her wealth. Even AFTER the evil mistress was caught on camera destroying the female lead’s mother’s jade hair pin (irreplaceable) and then cutting herself and blaming the FL-even after this the male lead continues to keep her by his side and with his mother and sister. What is wrong with him?! But he then uses his people to investigate the person who tried to kidnap the FL which shows he loves her after all. Pick a lane, writers! Either he is a decent man who genuinely loved his wife but got jealous and hurt when he thought she was dating anther man (and might deserve a redemption arc if he proves his remorse and atones) OR he is a self centered, arrogant, abuser who cares only about his reputation and doesn’t love or respect his wife. Pick one!
Glad she didn't go back with him, they all where abusers, they all killed her baby, and found this so stupid if the child wasn't his, it apparently was from his brother, he still gave his back on her. But the truth came out at the end. The only thing I dont like about this chinnese videos is they are all woman beater. Are they like that in true life. ?
This is a CHOICE. Not the storyline, but there are LOTS of Chinese characters only subtitles. Probably copywrite issue. ML didn't do the naked "Whoopie" with the villain. But gave his word that the villain and the baby to be first. It's worst than physical cheating. It's the emotional abuse that they're dishing out. FL got out. Dished out. AND did not comeback to the relationship. Enjoy
The cast members are mostly new, they all look good. FL’s 1st bro looks like a good potential ML hope he gets it. Also want to commend FL on her acting, that piano scene was good, I felt every emotion she was feeling in the moment. She acts well. Kudos to wardrobe too, they really provided outfits befitting each occasion 👏🏽
Seems like the husband was not cheating. The green tea obviously staged all the encounters to cause a riff between husband n wife... Lack of trust and lack of communication between the couples gave green tea the opportunity to cause the breakup..... Let's see what happens. There are lots of similar dramas, but let's see what the twist is here... I finally finished. Even though YX still has some feelings for FANG, she can never forgive him for not extending help when their baby aborted, all caused by Green tea on purpose. Yes, it's right to move on. No need to stay with an unreliable partner who is not there when she needs him. The two female Fangs are hopeless too, they contributed mostly to the breakup all because they look down on a country bumpkin... So sad for them.... Lost a grandchild, lost a nephew or niece and pamper an immoral woman who lied about relationship with their older brother who died. OmG
we can’t entirely blame it on the ML, he doesnt know FLs real identity and he got jealous with her brother, he may not cheated on her physically/sexually but he is entangled with greentea even lied to FL that he is on a businesstrip while FL saw her with greentea, and that is still cheating, the emotional abuse and humiliations she got is unforgivable and ML is an accomplice with those abuses, the lack of trust and communication weakend their relationship plus MLs entaglement with greentea, and when ML slap FL and caused her miscarriage, its the end of their marriage, ML listens to everyone except for FL, in my opinion he loved FL before, but wealth became more important to him, and the moment he decided to take care of another woman, that’s the beginning of his cheating, the story revolves around their misunderstandings and its unbearable to watch, it makes sense and feels right that FL did not take ML back
These plotlines reveals to us all how women and men behave in china. Whether he is a brother, boyfriend ,fiancé, husband , exhusband , father or grandfather and whether she is sister, girlfriend, mistress, ex wife, mother or grandfather .

That one she went back and it was too easy for forgiveness like so many dramas but he was still a bit better than this one. I'm really glad this FL didn't go back as I'm not convinced the ML really ever loved her in this one. More than the green tea manipulation and misunderstanding with the brother ( I really hate that plot line. You are jealous over a green tea and never think secret meetings and presents from another man are at all suspicious and impossible to be noticed - they don't admit to even having family/possible siblings. The greet tea is at least more open in her evil dealings.) This ML didn't do anything that made him redeemable apart from the "knife of redemption" which she didn't fall for. She is half drowned, bleeding and on the ground and he refuses to let the doctor help her even after helping the green tea - as punishment?? He lies about a business trip to what end? (it didn't even make sense for the situation) He even fully acknowledges the green tea as his fiancee. Even if he found out it was the brother not lover later on, if the FL wasn't from a rich family he wouldn't have felt regretful. Also why are they always country bumpkins??? I get the overall prejudice but here there didn't even seem to be a plot line of her living in the countryside at the time, it just all seemed like conjecture to put her down from the start versus any real truth. I would also really like to see one drama where the FL confronts the ML in the moment she sees the him with pregnant SFL. It incredible how these characters amass any wealth with how incredibly dimm-witted they are??? And the writers /production team aren't even trying to make the dialogue or plots even a little more realistic ? Theback and fore of the complete BS is over done , there are ways of improving the quality of the dramas without the utter nonsense.

Drama was good. But it showed a lot of abuse , all of this Chinese man like beating up on woman, what he did at first they way he treated her, and defend his mistress first then her, and they abusing her also. His mom and sister was another abuser. Glad she stand up for herself and at the end walked away. A man should never put a finger up to a woman. And a woman should never stay in a toxic relationship, once a man put a hand on a woman for the first time, this is when a woman should leave, because he will keep on doing it. No excuse to stay with an abusive person.
I felt this way too… but by the end I realized that honestly, they weren’t worth her words. They weren’t worth arguing with, or reasoning with. They weren’t worth lowering herself to their level. They humiliated her, but she never lost her pride. She kept her self-respect, and she stayed classy. I went from being so annoyed with her for it… to respecting the hell out of her by the end.
Subtitles are aggravating! If it says English subtitles then can we have them for the whole drama? I liked what I could understand and this is not the 1st version of this plot that I’ve seen but the first one where the bathroom incident has video proof of the 2FL’s scheme. It really makes no sense to me how can your brothers wife is more important than your own wife just because she is pregnant. Yes you can take care of her as you sister in law but no matter what your wife should always be your first priority. It really makes no sense to me how can your brothers wife is more important than your own wife just because she is pregnant. Yes you can take care of her as you sister in law but no matter what your wife should always be your first priority.
And later on when the truth reveals how easily they say that to their wife that they always love them but was only taking care of their brothers wife because she was pregnant. Ridiculous.

Wtf is wrong with this man’s logic, he’s married and got a baby on the way and then a random woman shows up saying she’s pregnant with his dead brothers baby, instead of looking into it and confirming he decides to say to his wife that it’s his kid and treats this random woman like a princess and even causing his own child to die cause he saves this random woman instead of his wife and his excuse is it’s so this random woman doesn’t look bad having child out of wedlock 🫤so saying she’s a mistress and still having a child out of wedlock is more acceptable is it ? I’m glad the wife walks away and doesn’t take him back.
