- Indiana is seeing severe weather and at least one confirmed tornado as the hurricane makes its way to the east coast. No injuries were reported as of 9 p.m. Tuesday night.

Yesterday was a scary severe weather day
I spotted some rotation North side of Evansville, IN around 4pm, just a funnel cloud at the time but saw some debris (mostly dirt looked like) get lofted up.
if dirt was lofted up, the circulation was most likely on the ground.
That was so close to being another twister!

My girlfriend daughter and I were caught in it on a side road because they had all entrances to Mt Vernon blocked so we had to take a side road and it came close to were we were. The car shifted and lifted the back off the ground a little bit. Super scary

I highly doubt this had anything to do with that hurricane… which was incredibly far away from Indiana.
The remnants of it went through Indiana.
The low pressure circulation rotated the atmosphere

That either a really strong ef3 or a weak ef4 tornado
EF0 or EF1 did barely any damage. Strong winds though.
@@qwaszx2 that tornado cause damage in posey county indiana there were multiple homes destroyed trees snap and roads that were blocked like i said it was either a strong ef3 or a weak ef4 tornado
Looks like a classic F3
Normally tornadoes that form from a tropical system are usually rated no higher than EF2 but there have been a few rated low end EF3
