One of the first ideas in my designing work was a bird of paradise with the highlight of 2 long, large and feathery tail feathers. And tada !! After dozens of tests and tweaks, this is the most alright version.
In 2018, at an exhibition in Saigon, a visitor asked me if this bird is real or just imaginary. The answer is YES, this is a real bird. Bird-of-paradise family generally looks like crows in terms of body morphology, and in fact they are closely related to the crow family, with their strong form, fat or long beaks, big and strong legs.
Birds of paradise live in several areas of Australasia, including eastern Indonesia, New Guinea and northeastern Australia.
The male has 2 characteristic big and long tail feathers to create a sexy dancing that attracts the female. Female ones do not have any outstanding features because their life purpose is just to eat, sleep, lay egg and watch the two males fight.
