    I've seen the Marfa Lights pop up off the ground just before dawn. Later that day I spoke to a local who saw something similar.
    I've been to Marfa a bunch of times I've always seen lights. More with night vision!

    Great skilled drone footage. I find the military/mystery lights correlation interesting 🤔✨ things that make you go hmmmm...

      Yeah, maybe if I spent more time there and saw something different, I might come up with a different conclusion. But knowing what I know about the use of monitoring equipment by Border Patrol, I can't help but think people get to see some late night shows of the latest top secret flying camera equipment.

      @@TexasFamilyCamping did you fly your drone out to see what the lights look like up close? If not, why not? Someone needs to do that.

    great drone footage i really want one but not sure where i would use it lol, tasty looking food love the diner. awesome sites and video.

      The drone was a real investment, it's expensive, but provides some great footage. You just have to be careful, between where you can fly it, and when you should or should not... weather and stuff like that.

    That is a cool looking diner, and the breakfast cheeseburger looked awesome! Interesting info about Marfa Army Airfield. Are those headlights? That was a very cool sign.

      I think that we saw headlights driving north on the highway into the town of Marfa. I was tracking the lights movement and actively looking at Google satellite view. I didn't bring that up in the video thought because so many people believe in other things going on out there.

    Alpine Texas looks like a cool and nostalgic place to go. Wow, what a place to visit. It is hard to imagine things being that old sometimes. I love that the scopes are free. What a cool structure too. Marfa Lights...I had not heard of those before. Another fantastic video. I really like your narration. ❤️👍👏 Donovan & Jodi

    Wow. That old air field is so neat. Isn’t it crazy how they just abandon it and leave the runways there? It’s pretty cool that the national parks service installed that viewing tower so you can enjoy the eerie lights. I’m not sure if I’d really wanna boondock there, but at least there’s that option. What a cool find! I love all the drone footage, too.

    Downtown Alpine is so eclectic. It’s one of our favorites. The Marfa lights observation stop is a must see; however, we did not see the lights the night we went. Great drone footage. We really liked the shot right above the rest stop when it was returning.

      I'm cool with abandoned places. I don't like it when a place is touted as haunted, and then tours are offered, because then someone is usually doing something creepy just to help sell it as haunted.

    im rdy for someone to wait till dark, wait till theres lights, then fly the drone out to the light and see what exaxtly it is if possible

    • @TexasFamilyCamping
      @TexasFamilyCamping  ปีที่แล้ว

      A lot of the drones don't have the range necessary. DJI is coming out with some extenders, but you have to pre-plan for where you think you will fly. They claim my drone will go 6 miles, but I lose signal at 3000 feet away.

      Well, that's hard to answer. By my guess, 10 miles
