I had a record deal with a big record company in 2011 and I could have had a great singing career, my publicist worked againts me and my manager at the time did not show up to the meeting.....years and years of working and studying and nurturing my voice all for nothing....and now here I am broke with no job...with several songs I recorded and wrote lyrics to...I feel like a failure....like my passion has left me...this video is inspiring....I'm trying to pick up the pieces of all the work that I did...I really don't want it to go to waste..... I am learning how to pick up the pieces. Thank You! May God contimue to bless you!

I wanted to be perfect in the eyes of another and they'd call me complete, the perfect package, they didn't understand how was I still single, etc. I didn't care for their thoughts, I didn't care for their words..because they never made me feel the way I wanted. Attaining confidence and belief in the self is something I'm still waiting, striving for and desire. I'm stilling trying to fill my hole that is self love, acceptance and contentment. .

I've been through alot of similar turmoil lately trying too look perfect and not make mistakes and came to the same conclusion: You can not control the result of your actions and you (and nobody else) can not know how right are your decisions at the moment, but you are in control of being hardworking, persistent, kind, honest and in your terms "patient", and you can get better and grow every day because of it... We are in control of doing the best we can every day, that's it. Yes, I feel I have to do what my dad wants me to do like play guitar make it to a professional academy, and I lost my mom, dog, cat, and feel I have to impress people to be worth it, thank you, if it wasn't for you I would probably be dead right now, thank you this was so motivational, now I know I can make it through another day of school without hating myself.

I spent so long trying to find this video to watch it again. I loved the Ray Bradbury quote. This would've been great without the "dark matter" bit, thinking about physics threw me on a loop.
