From what I have seen, you need to be in Primus!! You were the only one who did multiple songs and not easy ones, and you were the only one who talked about himself and gave a proper audition. And DUDE! You are a fantastic drummer!!

While I don’t necessarily disagree with you, Les could seriously be looking to inject some new life into the group. He’s been at it for 40 years after all, 36 with Ler.
My favourite so far. Groove✅ Feel ✅ Energy ✅✅✅ Very natural sounding, some others have been technically impressive but feel like play by numbers. The pieces of improv also add another insight into your style and ability.

Les doesn't have to do anything "to seem cool".
Les has always been cool because he never seemed to give af about being cool.
Even if you don't get the gig, this is an excellent opportunity to show a lot of people your work. It can open a lot of other different doors.
