To explain why Kid Goku can do things from later, it's because he is actually an adult that was changed back into a kid by the Black Star DragonBall. This is the main story of GT.
So bit of context as to why so many characters share the same ultimates: in the game, a lot of playable characters have some customization, changing a few things, specials moves, outfits colors, but also ultimates. And it tends to be characters who are related in some way that share them. Hence why Tien and Yamcha share ultimates, Cell has multiple from different characters (you’ll see why soon in Abridged), why that one version of the Kamehameha kept showing up Becuase it’s the default safe one (that Bardock can learn somehow), the list goes on.
It was probably a bit unorthodox and confusing to first time viewers since the creator of the video decided to use those custom options rather then just switching to the character they were originally made for which is kind of annoying and I can only assume was done for the video to be longer so they could get more watch time out of people.
@@Jus_Jxck I mean for completions sake it makes sense, most of them have unique lines of dialogue for those moves, so they’re worth seeing for each character. Though it does make it a bit tedious seeing that same basic Kamehameha when your not skipping through it.
Oh, I genuinely thought they just ripped peoples money away. The art style is still bad though, looks too plastic/candle light, I wish they would re-new the entire art style a bit

To explain the Vegito thing. It makes more sense in the Japanese. When Vegeta refers to Goku as Kakarot, in the Japanese it is Kakarotto. So the name Vegito becomes a fusion of Vegeta and Kakarotto. The 'i' gets kind of tricky because some point to it being the way Vegeta is said as Bejita - where there is the 'i' but not the 'V'
15:02-15:07 Cooler made a brief cameo in DBZA already during the Bardock, Father of Goku special. He's the one in the vintage color spaceship who said he'd let Goku go just to screw over Frieza. He also has been mentioned in the series before as he was the one who ordered one of Ginyu's dances that annoys Frieza.

Vegit (from Vegeta) + O (from Goku) Pan is the daughter of Gohan and Videl (Hercule’s daughter) Frost is one of Freeza’s race from Universe 6, the mirror to Universe 7, where the main series takes place. Vegetto Vege from Vegeta and tto from Kakarotto which is how you say Kakarot in Japanese, some English versions of Dragon Ball changed Vegetto to Vegerot because they changed the name to Kakarot.

It was only called 'Super Saiyajin God Super Saiyajin" early on. Heck, since it's a form that was never seen before until Goku achieved it, it's "official" name is whatever Goku says it is.
Dragon ball Xenoverse combines a lot of the dragon ball shows. Most of the characters are taken from later on in the story. The GT characters are from their own series (as it was declared non cannon I believe). Also Gogeta and Vegito are two different fusions of both Goku and Vegeta as you guessed.

Not gonna lie, I wish you guys didn't watch this video until after you got a bit deeper into your Dragon Ball journey lol but Xenoverse 2 is an amazing game. It even allows you to create your own character and go on your own adventure. I think it's definitely one worth playing and recording your gameplay for us!!!

Oh Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. I used to play this religiously, got pretty good and had a lot of fun before I just drifted away from it. It's still pretty active from what I can tell with lots of DLC's coming out.
The main draw of the Xenoverse games was the fact you make your own character and due to good old time travel plot magic get to fight against and along side the cast of the whole dragonball saga and even become a student of a few of the big names. in short any fanboy/girls childhood dream!
Honestly, this feels a bit too early for ya'll, since all of this is pretty much a spoiler for the future and WAY far in the future, but it is nice to see you react to the more stylish ultimate, even though lots of them aren't assigned to the right characters and some of them being mod characters. Also, SSGSS just means Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, kind of lazy, but after too many transformations, Goku is still getting more, like Ultra Instinct.
The Characters Towa and Mira and Demon God Demigra Are original Characters from the Xenoverse game Series and Android 21 is an Original Character from the game Dragon Ball FighterZ So, they won't appear in any of the shows, just wanted to clear that up, love your videos you both are awesome!

You guys should play this game, it'd be a good way of getting the dbz (after abridge ends as it only goes through two thirds of the original series.) story line in a way that doesn't take as long as it goes through it with it's own little changes.

Some facts and fun facts (by the way this is my content account so you might not recognize me but its Alexander Beasley. been following you guys since ya'll came about. I'm a huge fan. when you guys react puts a smile on my face! much love! 😎🤘) it might have already been said but Goten is the youngest son of Goku and Chi-Chind little brother to Gohan (somewhere in the abridge during the Cell Saga you will see Chi-ChI ask Goku about another kid) Cell is made of all of the current warriors that where around on earth including Frieza since data was also somehow taken at the time of Future Trunks arrival. the pink guys you saw that had Buu in the name? the one you called fat kirby? (i still laugh at fat Kirby lol) Majin Buu, Super Buu and Kid Buu are all one in the same though only 2 of the three are nothing but pure evil. Majin Buu (fat Kirby) was technically evil until Hercule decided to teach him kindness. super buu on the other hand is just Majin Buu but with the evil part stripped out of him. this is basically pre-form Kid Buu. super buu has more forms he absorbed than the other two due to him absorbing Adult Gohan, Gotenks, and Piccolo hence why you see the Super Buu ("insert character name" Absorbed) in his name. Kid Buu is the final part of all the Buu's. Pure Evil and nothing but. He doesn't care one bit about mercy or anything. straight destruction is all he sees. Super Buu turned chi-chi into an egg when she walked up and slapped him in the face while he was waiting to fight a powerful warrior Goku had left and he stomped on the chi-chi turned egg and killed her. but Kid Buu!? nah...bro went to heaven just to give everyone that was killed the business and was bout to destroy heaven too. also Kid Buu is the only villain to destroy Earth without no given reason nor motivation or was told to do so. he just did it and not a single word came out besides just laughter. there are different types of Fusions. one's are usually permanent (piccolo with nail and kami) or semi permanent (Super Buu with whoever he absorbs). there are two that aren't as semi permanent but are mostly time limited. The Potora Fusion and the Fusion Dance. Potora Fusion is done with the potora earrings. two ppl put one earring opposite each other (left guy puts it on his right ear. right guy put it on his left ear.) with the earrings on they start to glow and both ppl will be pulled into each other and then a flash of light and boom they become one entity. Vegito is basically Vegeta and Goku fused with the Potoras. They are technically semi-permanently fused until some bs happens where the earrings are pulled off or Vegito himself takes them off. On the other hand you got the Fusion Dance which is entirely different. there's a certain dance done and when done right both entities fuse. the thing is is that the Fusion Dance is a last resort move and not to be taken lightly. the first part of it is that both parties trying to fuse have to be in total sync with each other. from being close to the same power level to doing the dance itself. the dance is the hardest and the most difficult one to do cause its the easiest one to mess up. Gogeta is Goku and Vegeta fused with the Fusion Dance. The Fusion Dance also has a very heavy draw back. it only lasts for 30 minutes. An hour if you aren't doing anything that exerts alot of energy. I prefer the Potras over the Fusion Dance instead. Potoras have better use and longer lasting power. SSG means Super Saiyan God and SSGSS is basically the same thing but called Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan. (red is SSG while Blue is ssgss). SSGSS Evolved is basically a higher version of SSGSS Vegeta more powerful. the white haired Goku? Ultra Instinct. a power even the gods and angels themselves haven't mastered and has been trying to master it for longest.
SSGSS actually stands for Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan and it sounds tricky to say, so we call it Super Saiyan Blue for short. You'll see what it is after Dragon Ball Z Kai

Goten and Gohan are brothers, Chi Chi and Goku are their parents, Pan is Gohan's daughter. Also Kid Goku (the one who can transform into Super Saiyan 3 and 4 and can use Dragon Fist) is from a non canon anime called Dragon Ball GT where he is turned back into a child but still has his powers from adulthood. Trunks is the son of Bulma and Vegeta Vegeto is a fusion of Goku and Vegeta via the Potara Earrings, and Gogeta is them fused via the Fusion dance. Last thing SSGSS means Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan or Super Saiyan Blue for short
Quick explanation, red haired Goku and Vegeta is Super Saiyan God (SSG) and it happens when multiple Saiyans give their power to another Saiyan. Blue haired Goku and Vegeta is (sigh) Suoer Saiyan God Super Saiyan, because is a god transformation that’s natural and doesn’t require a power boost from like six other Saiyans.
Thought I just had, since you mentioned being more familiar with the world of Dragon Ball: I know one other reacter did this, but after you're done with DBZ Abridged, I would happily recommend TeamFourStar's DBCember videos. DBZA only goes to a certain point in the series, and the DBC videos are fun countdowns they did every holiday season for different categories. They're very fun and information. Alternatively, for this channel, if you're wanting more TeamFourStar in general, there's another series called Final Fantasy 7 Machinabridged. I'm assuming people have already suggested this, but it's a fun parody of the game Final Fantasy 7 that I can say, as one who's never played or seen anything of the game outside of TFS's series, is really fun.
I'm not a Trunks fan, but it'll be fun watching yall meet him in the Abridged reactions. Also, GT was a weird timeline. I don't hate it, but they gave my boy Geetz a mustache
So to explain the fusion bit. Namekian Fusion is purely a race thing only Namekians can do it and they can do it to increase their strength at the cost of one of the Namekians essentially ceasing to exist. The fusion that Goten and Trunks do is called the Fusion dance it's a unique technique that allows two people to fuse into a singular being who's strength is significantly multiplied. Goku and Vegeta do it too and end up as Gogeta. Goten is an absolute brat of a fighter but he is incredibly powerful but he has a very egotistical and arrogant personality and is too caught up in making things 'dramatic' and is over the top. Gogeta is the exact opposite he is direct and relentless and is considered one of the most powerful warriors in existence. The second fusion is called Potara Fusion, how it works is that two characters put on an earring called a Potara Earring, this earring when placed on the opposite ear will force the person to merge together. Originally when you put it on the fusion was permanent but it was later retconned that it's only permanent when a divine being fuses with someone while mortals it lasts for one hour or less depending on how much power said mortal is exerting. Vegito is cocky and arrogant but not to the point of Gotenks also unlike Gotenks he doesn't waste time though he was dramatic he usually can back up his dramatics with his sheer power and combat experience. Fans of Dragonball eternally debate over who is stronger Vegito or Gogeta.
Yeah, with just abridged, you guys aren’t gonna meet maybe 60-70% of these characters/forms. I would actually recommend playing Dragon Ball Kakarot as apparently that has most of the story context you need. And if you guys decide to do another DBZ ultimates compilation, then I recommend something called “Dragon Ball Raging Blast 2” It does suffer from some characters having the same moves, but a big majority of them are actually cinematic in their finishes.
That glimpse of Ruby in the intro reel; That's from Blazblue Cross Tag Battle. If you want to do a Fight Night Friday in that game you're looking for the Astral Finish compilation. All of RWBY and a Volume 2 character you might not have met yet are in that game.
vegito is goku and vegeta fused with the ear rings which takes a combination of colors and mixed outfit of the character. so is like goku wearing vegeta colors and gloves and shoes. also the name is based of goku saiyan named said in japanese kakoratto, in english is kakorat. gogeta is goku and vegeta fused doing the dance which always gets the white pants and vest since, that is the appearance for that form is why gotenks wears the same outfit.
You guys should probably check Jstars or Jumpforce, it has goku and the others in there but with franchises which is pretty cool, if you ever get the chance, you guys should check it out, great video btw.
Team Four Star actually recorded playing Xenoverse and Xenoverse 2 and uploaded it to their Stream Four Star channel. They have declared these playthroughs to be canon to DBZA
Don't know if anyone told you guys this but if you only plan on watching Abridged you'll never meet half these characters, the Abridged series was discontinued before a lot of these characters are introduced.

Y'know I was on the Xbox store today and the Xenoverse 1 & 2 Bundle is on for 85% off. That's a deal. Also you get to create your own character from one of the 5 different races; Earthling, Saiyan, Majin, Namekian & Frieza race. Each has their own pros and cons.
Baby is a parasite He possessed vegeta, making his hair white and appearing red marks in vegeta's face Then the corrupted saiyans (goku and pan were the only ones on earth not corrupted) gave baby vegeta (vegeta possessed by baby) their "saiyan power" turning him into super baby, then he used a spirit bomb-like technique, absorbing all the hate towards saiyan from the corrupted earthling, that dark energy transformed super baby into a second transformation, thats why is called super baby 2 He even turns into a golden great ape after a while, althought that was one of the reasons he had to exit vegeta's body and got killed in the end
Both Vegito and Gogeta are fusions of Goku and Vegeta. The difference is the method of fusion. There is fusion with potara earrings where two people wear the same pair of those earrings on opposing ears, they fuse. The other method is using a dance where the two people must complete a dance and must exactly match the other person. Even the slightest difference can cause them to fuse but they are much weaker, take different forms and so on. For both types of fusion, the two people must be around the same power level. Also, for the question on who controls the body, it is neither. A new conscience is made from the personality of both people that has the memory of both people. Once they get out of the fusion, they have the memories from when they were fused.
Goku Family tree: Gohan & Goten are Goku son's, Pan is Gohan & Videl daughter. Oh also SSGSS mean "Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan". Oh also Trunks is Vegeta son
If you guys want to see Kefla then you should do reaction videos to some Goku vs Kale and Caulifla and then Goku vs Kefla. Basically gives a lot of the context of them, is some of my favorite fights in the series and it isn’t covered by abridged. Not sure if you guys are gonna do much with dragon ball reactions after abridged but it’s a very long show so if you want to see them it’d take quite a while to get their.
Teen Gohan is actually a kid and adult Gohan is actually a teen. The only version of Gohan in the game that's based on one that's actually an adult in the show is Future Gohan.
Well you will meet just about every one up to Hercule thru your DBZ abridged series run. There are some contextual clues to how some characters you haven't meant yet relate to other established characters. Unfortunately "Fat Kirby" and the others are after what the abridged series cover.

Not gonna lie, I wish you guys didn't watch this video until after you got a bit deeper into your Dragon Ball journey lol but Xenoverse 2 is an amazing game. It even allows you to create your own character and go on your own adventure. I think it's definitely one worth playing and recording your gameplay for us!!!

Oh Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. I used to play this religiously, got pretty good and had a lot of fun before I just drifted away from it. It's still pretty active from what I can tell with lots of DLC's coming out.

The main draw of the Xenoverse games was the fact you make your own character and due to good old time travel plot magic get to fight against and along side the cast of the whole dragonball saga and even become a student of a few of the big names. in short any fanboy/girls childhood dream!

This is crazy, I just started playing this again like two days ago.
Honestly, this feels a bit too early for ya'll, since all of this is pretty much a spoiler for the future and WAY far in the future, but it is nice to see you react to the more stylish ultimate, even though lots of them aren't assigned to the right characters and some of them being mod characters.
Also, SSGSS just means Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, kind of lazy, but after too many transformations, Goku is still getting more, like Ultra Instinct.

Goten is Gohan's little brother. SSGSS is God mode perfected. Vegito is Goku and Vegita fused together via fusion earings and Gogeta is Goku and Vegeta fused via fusion dance.
You guys should play this game, it'd be a good way of getting the dbz (after abridge ends as it only goes through two thirds of the original series.) story line in a way that doesn't take as long as it goes through it with it's own little changes.

the pink guys you saw that had Buu in the name? the one you called fat kirby? (i still laugh at fat Kirby lol) Majin Buu, Super Buu and Kid Buu are all one in the same though only 2 of the three are nothing but pure evil. Majin Buu (fat Kirby) was technically evil until Hercule decided to teach him kindness. super buu on the other hand is just Majin Buu but with the evil part stripped out of him. this is basically pre-form Kid Buu. super buu has more forms he absorbed than the other two due to him absorbing Adult Gohan, Gotenks, and Piccolo hence why you see the Super Buu ("insert character name" Absorbed) in his name. Kid Buu is the final part of all the Buu's. Pure Evil and nothing but. He doesn't care one bit about mercy or anything. straight destruction is all he sees. Super Buu turned chi-chi into an egg when she walked up and slapped him in the face while he was waiting to fight a powerful warrior Goku had left and he stomped on the chi-chi turned egg and killed her. but Kid Buu!? nah...bro went to heaven just to give everyone that was killed the business and was bout to destroy heaven too. also Kid Buu is the only villain to destroy Earth without no given reason nor motivation or was told to do so. he just did it and not a single word came out besides just laughter.
there are different types of Fusions. one's are usually permanent (piccolo with nail and kami) or semi permanent (Super Buu with whoever he absorbs). there are two that aren't as semi permanent but are mostly time limited. The Potora Fusion and the Fusion Dance. Potora Fusion is done with the potora earrings. two ppl put one earring opposite each other (left guy puts it on his right ear. right guy put it on his left ear.) with the earrings on they start to glow and both ppl will be pulled into each other and then a flash of light and boom they become one entity. Vegito is basically Vegeta and Goku fused with the Potoras. They are technically semi-permanently fused until some bs happens where the earrings are pulled off or Vegito himself takes them off. On the other hand you got the Fusion Dance which is entirely different. there's a certain dance done and when done right both entities fuse. the thing is is that the Fusion Dance is a last resort move and not to be taken lightly. the first part of it is that both parties trying to fuse have to be in total sync with each other. from being close to the same power level to doing the dance itself. the dance is the hardest and the most difficult one to do cause its the easiest one to mess up. Gogeta is Goku and Vegeta fused with the Fusion Dance. The Fusion Dance also has a very heavy draw back. it only lasts for 30 minutes. An hour if you aren't doing anything that exerts alot of energy. I prefer the Potras over the Fusion Dance instead. Potoras have better use and longer lasting power.
SSG means Super Saiyan God and SSGSS is basically the same thing but called Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan. (red is SSG while Blue is ssgss). SSGSS Evolved is basically a higher version of SSGSS Vegeta more powerful. the white haired Goku? Ultra Instinct. a power even the gods and angels themselves haven't mastered and has been trying to master it for longest.
SSGSS actually stands for Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan and it sounds tricky to say, so we call it Super Saiyan Blue for short. You'll see what it is after Dragon Ball Z Kai

Also Kid Goku (the one who can transform into Super Saiyan 3 and 4 and can use Dragon Fist) is from a non canon anime called Dragon Ball GT where he is turned back into a child but still has his powers from adulthood.

Quick explanation, red haired Goku and Vegeta is Super Saiyan God (SSG) and it happens when multiple Saiyans give their power to another Saiyan. Blue haired Goku and Vegeta is (sigh) Suoer Saiyan God Super Saiyan, because is a god transformation that’s natural and doesn’t require a power boost from like six other Saiyans.
Thought I just had, since you mentioned being more familiar with the world of Dragon Ball: I know one other reacter did this, but after you're done with DBZ Abridged, I would happily recommend TeamFourStar's DBCember videos. DBZA only goes to a certain point in the series, and the DBC videos are fun countdowns they did every holiday season for different categories. They're very fun and information.
Alternatively, for this channel, if you're wanting more TeamFourStar in general, there's another series called Final Fantasy 7 Machinabridged. I'm assuming people have already suggested this, but it's a fun parody of the game Final Fantasy 7 that I can say, as one who's never played or seen anything of the game outside of TFS's series, is really fun.
I'm not a Trunks fan, but it'll be fun watching yall meet him in the Abridged reactions.

So to explain the fusion bit.
Namekian Fusion is purely a race thing only Namekians can do it and they can do it to increase their strength at the cost of one of the Namekians essentially ceasing to exist.
The fusion that Goten and Trunks do is called the Fusion dance it's a unique technique that allows two people to fuse into a singular being who's strength is significantly multiplied. Goku and Vegeta do it too and end up as Gogeta. Goten is an absolute brat of a fighter but he is incredibly powerful but he has a very egotistical and arrogant personality and is too caught up in making things 'dramatic' and is over the top. Gogeta is the exact opposite he is direct and relentless and is considered one of the most powerful warriors in existence.
The second fusion is called Potara Fusion, how it works is that two characters put on an earring called a Potara Earring, this earring when placed on the opposite ear will force the person to merge together. Originally when you put it on the fusion was permanent but it was later retconned that it's only permanent when a divine being fuses with someone while mortals it lasts for one hour or less depending on how much power said mortal is exerting. Vegito is cocky and arrogant but not to the point of Gotenks also unlike Gotenks he doesn't waste time though he was dramatic he usually can back up his dramatics with his sheer power and combat experience.
Fans of Dragonball eternally debate over who is stronger Vegito or Gogeta.
Yeah, with just abridged, you guys aren’t gonna meet maybe 60-70% of these characters/forms.
I would actually recommend playing Dragon Ball Kakarot as apparently that has most of the story context you need.
And if you guys decide to do another DBZ ultimates compilation, then I recommend something called “Dragon Ball Raging Blast 2”
It does suffer from some characters having the same moves, but a big majority of them are actually cinematic in their finishes.

vegito is goku and vegeta fused with the ear rings which takes a combination of colors and mixed outfit of the character. so is like goku wearing vegeta colors and gloves and shoes. also the name is based of goku saiyan named said in japanese kakoratto, in english is kakorat. gogeta is goku and vegeta fused doing the dance which always gets the white pants and vest since, that is the appearance for that form is why gotenks wears the same outfit.

Don't know if anyone told you guys this but if you only plan on watching Abridged you'll never meet half these characters, the Abridged series was discontinued before a lot of these characters are introduced.

It’s a bit of both. Sometimes we go with the longer, more “popular” video. Other times we get recommendations that we use but even those haven’t always panned out. It’s tough finding reliable channels that do this that have the character names, all the characters and no mods 🤗

Both Vegito and Gogeta are fusions of Goku and Vegeta. The difference is the method of fusion. There is fusion with potara earrings where two people wear the same pair of those earrings on opposing ears, they fuse. The other method is using a dance where the two people must complete a dance and must exactly match the other person. Even the slightest difference can cause them to fuse but they are much weaker, take different forms and so on. For both types of fusion, the two people must be around the same power level. Also, for the question on who controls the body, it is neither. A new conscience is made from the personality of both people that has the memory of both people. Once they get out of the fusion, they have the memories from when they were fused.
