- oh yes!! finally, She is here!!
I have always loved the RoseBlue ship ever since I read Bluestar’s Prophecy years ago! Rosetail is really just a side character, but I always admired her support, love, and care for her best friend. So I felt like I had to write a MAP about her, and then I decided to make it about the ship itself!
This MAP explores Rosetail and Bluefur's relationship, following them as they first fall in love, then as they drift apart because of Thrushpelt and Oakheart. And then, finally, to them reconnecting during Bluestar’s deputyship/leadership, and at the end being able to live together forever in StarClan.
Thank you so so so much to all of the artists for bringing my vision of this MAP to life!! it went sO INCREDIBLY SMOOTH, I was the only person who had to drop their part, and everyone was super good about staying in contact and asking for extensions when they needed them! Not to mention every single part looks bEAUTIFUL!!! THIS MAP LOOKS SO SO PRETTY!! In a way I think of it as BlueStar was in shock at the time and so she didn't react as people thought she would've. I had a similar experience when my foster sister had passed away 2 years ago. It didn't hit me that she was gone like I knew she was but I couldn't truly believe it and so I had no reaction. Part of me clung to hoping she was somewhere still alive and happy, part of me is still clinging to that small bit of hope.
I like to imagine that she did mourn Rosetail but she felt like she couldn’t express it without seeming week and she needed to be strong for the clan. I imagine that Rosetails death was part of what drove her to be depressed in the end

rosetail is an all time favourite character of mine,also bluestar,and the whole shipping part of them is my favourite ship.and the map really made me cry,really.but another point could be added,which i see left out by most of the animators,is the death scene of roetail,when she was discovered dead after the shadowclan raid.rosetail slaughtered at the entrance of the nursery,while bluestar heres the news and comes at her side,grief striken,but then let loose and then goes to check her clan,leaving rosetail with the queens to accomplish her last ceremony.on the night while thunderclan mourns for their lost member,bluestar stays at the corner,in her den,miserably looking at the broken form of her friend,and shedding a tear drop while rosetail watches from starclan,remembering everything rosetail had done for her.and suddenly she realizes how much rosetail had loved her and respected her.and then the scene jumps straight into the gorge-dog-battle and bluestar dies and joins starclan,reunites with snowfur,moonflower,trushpelt ,oakheart.but at first she reunites with rosetail,and.......you know....thats the end......

Looks like I have to reread Bluestar’s Prophecy since I’ve never once considered this to be a ship but I love it so much. I don’t even really remember Rosetail in the books. I thought she was born near the end and was more of just a random side character.

As much as this is a good ship to play around with I don’t ship them although it would be a funny part of the book. Maybe imagine ok heart and blue star hadn’t met and thrush pelt and blue fur dated for a while but then it turns out blue star was really falling for thrush pelts sister rose tail and I know it was just the beginning and they hadn’t planned much but I feel like what moon kitty said in her video about rose tail was true it seems rose tail in into the wild was just made up for someone to die in the scene and blue star didn’t grieve at all but then again it was the beginning of the series but besides any of that this is a amazing ship!!

ok so rosetail has it baaaad for bluefur but is waaay to shy to tell her front and center to she uses thrush pelt as a way to kind of tell her ( by saying he has a crush on her) mean wile the oakheart thing is happening with bluefur and she gets pregnant rosetail is like oh dang did is she realy going out with trushpelt and she asks bluefur. bluefur ends up telling rosetail about oakheart tho and rosetail is like oh well i can help keep the kits dad a secret anywas after bluefur gave up her kits she tells rosetail what happend and rose tail cofurts her and stuff they eventualy grow really tight and then rosetail finally tells bluefur her feelings and bluefur reciprocates them and they beecome mates.
