Right now it's June 19 2024. And JT. Is out with a knee surgery. I know most of you know this by now. I just wanted to point out how much the Phillies pitchers need him. Phillies pitchers were at the top of the league in just about everything. But from the first game without him. Our pitching has been getting rock giving up a lot of runs. It's getting a little better but man. JT. Realmuto is the best catcher in the game. Not just for what he does behind the plate. But for all the hours he does studying the other teams hitters. I remember hearing that he is like one of the first ones at the park. And the other catches come in with the pitchers. And JT. Has everything just about ready. How to pitch to every hitter on the other teams. He does so much more that we never get to see. We need him just to be around the dugout and bullpen when he can. To help the other catchers and the pitchers be ready. They need to sign JT to stay with the Phillies forever. When he is done playing. He can be on the coaching staff and do the things he does behind the scenes.

Hes really intricate to the team however injuries happen and the Phillies are still 24 games over 500 without him in the lineup.
