I managed a Spirit a few years ago. Flagship store open August 1st, think ours did on the 4th. They are open for a week or two after Halloween. Major discounts then. People also bombard the store for renaissance fair costumes come August. It’s cool that it exists even if I think the corporate culture is a little too much there, but what do you expect. Spencer’s owns them! It would be awesome to see mom and pop shops selling more Halloween stuff, which seems more and more like a possibility. There’s even a haunted farmer’s market that happens in Tacoma, WA. Imo the terrifier stuff is going to be big. Surprisingly the big three stuff (Halloween, Friday the 13th, and A Nightmare on Elm Street) weren’t super popular. Killer Klowns and Trick r Treat definitely had more merch. I feel like a lot of people who enter the store aren’t really big horror fans so you have to supply a wide variety of items. Also, just an FYI, everything isn’t on the shelves day 1. And even the shipments Spirit gets throughout the Halloween season is kinda random, so they can’t predict what will be coming in every delivery. If you close to a store it might be worth going back later.
Autumn is my favorite time of year so I appreciate you guys being excited for spooky season. BTW I have a scary movie suggestion, Case 39, Amityville Horror, or the Ritual.
I absolutely love the look of Spirit Halloween's CarnEvil theme this year. It just looks super cool and I love all the animatronics in the theme!💀🪦 Great Spirit Halloween video Weeb Cavazos!🎃✨
I litetally have a Spirit Halloween next door, like literally next door, and I have seen more from it in this video that walking into the actual store 😅
"i hate jump scares"
*almost dies 2 seconds later*
In California, Halloween is apparently a lifestyle. No idea why they aren't open all year here
it costs too much to opertate the stores they are in all year around only the 3 months of aug, sept , oct , then they are out.
I absolutely love Sam! I suggest watching Chucky to see if you're into it before wearing the costume. I wanna see the reaction too :)
